Are we suppose to get another ICS update?

So I have been on the RC03 ROM that Acer pushed a few days ago. On Acer's website it says there will be a 4.0.x pushed out on April 27, 2012, which is today. So are we getting another update or is RC03 it? Thanks to anyone that has any information.

I contacted Acer support about the absence of the famous "Ring" and they told me it will not be available for the A100. Something about the screen resolution could not support it.

Still haven't gotten any update. I was on the ICS leak, and downgraded to stock 3.2, then to the stock 3.2.1 update Vache posted. Build number is Acer_A100_2.007.04_COM_GEN1.

I got the update for my gen 2 today, just to let everyone know that I was able to root using this method for those of you who haven't tried yet. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1531646

I was on RC03 and did not get the OTA update. Once I downgraded back to HC 3.2.1, I got the update to ICS OTA.

Got tired of waiting last night, manually went to the RC03 update around 11pm (PST) last night. I'll try dropping back down to 3.2.1 to see if the OTA will work.
Manually checking for updates hadn't done any good earlier, maybe today will be different.

This is what I'm wondering too. I think if we (Original Note7) use the Note 7R ROM it will 0% our battery, forcing us to return it.

I would love to pick up a Note 7R, but I really need T-Mobile Wifi Calling. I've done a lot of research and there are some possibilities based on what I've seen on the S7 and S8, but of course the situation is a little different here. We won't have US variants of the note 7R , but we still have the US note 7 firmwares (which may or may not be compatible)
1) Modify the CSC to T-mobile's CSC. This seems to be the least intrusive, but I don't know if the CSC is device specific. Could we use the CSC from T-Mobile's Note 7 or S7 Edge?
2) Install the T-Mobile Note 7 firmware on top of a Snapdragon variant of the Note 7R. Might be impossible if the bootloader versions are different.

Rom for the existing one based on the current available firmware already exist. I am also waiting on the refurbished firmware release to port it to the original note. It should not be an issue, and hopefully android 7

Nice, the space and the build is enough for me to upgrade to the N7FE

We are just waiting for the compartibility for the original n7, just a few days to know it

I was planning on getting both but despite how much I love the note 7 (had 3 of them) there is no way Im paying more than what it cost new a year later...and refurbed as well.
I expected it to cost maybe around $500 CAN not $1100....

Firmware UK

Ok so just picked the A70 up from carphone warehouse and noticed the firmware is XEU UK & Ireland not the normal BTU for Unlocked UK not that it's a big deal but every sim free Samsung I've bought has been BTU
Just curious if anybody else's in UK has the same and wear it was purchased , I'm assuming it's ok to flash BTU as well as XEU on unlocked UK model with dual sim if needed in future , Tia

If so, I would be interested in one that does not install 23 bloatwares at first boot

Strange I've never known a simfree Samsung not to be BTU that I've bought outright , not that makes much difference tbf you could flash either if one firmware released before other keeping a close eye on samfirm as may update has started to roll

Yeah I think it does but I don't know if that's going to be a bad thing or not lol
But u can confirm the touch scree issue has gone for me and the fingerprint seems better, not perfect but better lol

Yeah from the yy wireless seller. Just make sure to qdb debloat it. Sadly I dropped it on first day and back class cracked before I got a case.

I wouldn't hold your breath, I have the same version and it seems that the Amazon version is last on the list for updates, behind all the carrier versions so we might get it in a few months

We DO HAVE Amzaon android 10 beta for LG G8 since like 1 month ago.

So I finally decided to join the "incrowd" and updated to Emui 10 ( 10.0.0.184) c432.
Noticed it's still on December 2019 security patch. Is this the latest security patch for c432? Cheers.

February patch received for Al00 3 days back. 10.0.0.195

On my al00 I went to the support app and it promoted me to update the app. After I did that I went to update check again and it found an update.

Cool,i see it in Firmware Finder.But nothing for me since Months.

Received it on my EVR-L29 C636 today as well. Haven't installed it yet though.

Installed it the other day. Haven't encountered any issues yet.

I've had mine for only two weeks now. Especially in older reviews, I read that the software of the Mate 20X had lots of bugs. So that's why I'm a little bit anxious when it comes to updating. But the 6 or 7 updates I've had so far, all went ok. So I'm happy.
