Good morning. I can't install Arrow rom update on whyred, it appears "modem firmware from MIUI V10.3.1.0. PEIMIXM or newer stock ROMs is prerequisite to be compatible with this build.updater process ended with ERROR: 7"
How can I solve the problem? Mount Arrow pie, Magisk and bootloader unlocked. I apologize for bad English

Flash miui1 10.3 recovery file with twrp and than lazy flasher zip file after successfully bootup
Flash twrp 3.3x pie based recovery than flash Arrow os
Wipe data, system, cache, dalik is recommended...

Is enough to flash the zip here and then you can proceed in your flashes

Oneplus 5T root problem

Hello all If any one can help me ,
I was rooted running rooted stock oxygen os before on my Oneplus 5T
after flashing Oxygen OS 5.1.4 Full Zip my phone is not rooting it gets in initial oneplus logo and freeze there without loading OS
Phone is working fine after Flashing Oxygen OS 5.1.4 Full Zip without any issue its not booting after flashing either SuperSu or Magisk
Steps which I follow are
1 Flash custom recovery I have tried both Codeworkx TWRP | Blu_Spark
2 after flashing recovery boot in to recovery flash Supersu or magisk
3 reboot
when I reboot if i Flash supersu it stuck on oneplus logo, If i flash magisk it reboot itself to fastboot so Os is not loading at all.
I have to flash full Zip again every time to get it working but then I dont have root access.
I have tried at least 10 times with different even old versions of magisk and supersu with out any success.
Is there any particular recovery or different version of magisk or superuse I need to flash?
your help will be really appreciated.
Try a different approach. Instead of installing recovery, just get phone rooted first. There is a way where you can boot into twrp (without installing it), and then flash magisk/supersu zip. If your phone is rooted, then you can install twrp later (or keep oem recovery)
This is how you boot into twrp (or any recovery): fastboot boot recovery recovery.img
Let me know how it goes.
As you said boot to recovery without installing it.
One problem currently I am installing recovery and flashing root. After that phone is not booting up in to OS it stuck on oneplus logo. Then I have to force off phone boot in to recovery and flash full os zip to get it working. I can boot in to TWRP because my os didn't load. Now if I use your method and flash root file and if phone won't boot to os that means I won't be able to boot in to TWRP again to flash full os zip to get phone working atleast without root. Any idea?
Huh, frankly I have no idea why you are facing this menace. I can just give two suggestions.
1. Try with older, more stable versions of TWRP and Magisk
2. Get yourself a custom ROM, most ROM's will work flawlessly after flashing root files
Hope for the best!
I usually switch from OpenBeta to LOS and back again. Here's how I switch back to OpenBeta (steps should work for official OOS):
1) Back everything on internal storage up. This one's important
2) Boot into official OOS recovery
3) Wipe EVERYTHING (this is why you need to follow Step 1)
4) Sideload the version of OOS you want. The instructions will be right there on the recovery screen
5) Boot into Fastboot and flash TWRP
6) Flash Magisk and (optional) Xposed

Cannot flash any rom ERROR:7 please help !

Sorry for my bad English grammar,
I have stucked in TWRP for all this day, flashed many different roms and got the same message :
"E1001: Failed to update system/vendor image.
Updater process ended with ERROR:7
Error installing zip file '...' "
My base is 11.0.4 xiaomi.eu rom (MIUI 11, Android 10), start flashing 11.0.3 custom rom (MIUI 11, Android 9) and got that ERROR, then flashed Havoc/ASOiP rom, end up with flashing STOCK MIMAX3Global_V11.0.2.0.QEDMIXM on Mi offficial site via TWRP but still no luck, samething.
I have already tried lastest TWRP 3.3.1, 3.2.3, PitchBlack Recovery, and modified Updater-Script aswell (Delete 1st line).
Thank you for your help ! :crying:
Have you tried any of these tips?
Did you tried any android 10 ROMs?
I'm not sure if the downgrade from 10 to 9 is possible at all
I had wiped my system partition at one point and got this as well. Fixed by using the mi flash tool and the full system image (not a twrp / orange fox rom) and then wiped my data partition to get rid of the boot password. I don't know if anti rollback effects 10 to 9. Look into it though. You're looking for a fastboot rom. Just make sure to not "clean and lock". I'm having trouble finding the fastboot rom I found to fix it but it should come in a .tgz file. Good luck

China stable MIUI 12 ROM, how to root? After flashing zip through custom recovery

Hi guys,
after flashing china stable MIUI 12 and wanting to root again with custom recovery and magisk i got the problem as follows:
Device was blank, flashed TWRP through fastboot, then updated to SHRP.
With SHRP i flashed the china stable ROM MIUI 12 as zip file.
Booted once, system is fine, enabled developer options and debloated.
Moving magisk on the device and rebooting into recovery gave me stock recovery, so no flash of magisk possible hm.
Thought well, on stable Chines ROM now just flash TWRP once more, did like always, flashed vbmeta, flashed twrp, fastboot reboot and instant power + volume up to reboot TWRP, worked.
Now reboot leads in lost ROM, TWRP loop.
Where is the error please?
Just flashing china stable MIUI 12 once more and waiting for next step to safely root device.
so far I think, you should flash vbmeta before flashing AOSP rom, I don't know if your problem was solved or not. share your experience here so that others can be benefitted.

Mi9Se TWRP loop after install a new rom

Hi everyone,
I try to install custom rom from miglobe with the mi9SE.
First step I successfully flash the bootloader with the custom TWRP ---> "TWRP-3.4.0-2-Mi9SE" (actually the file name is twrp-3.4.0-2grus.img download from github / redispade)
Then I boot on it, I wipe and hard reset everything, then I go to INSTALL and I select the zip file corresponding to the last miglobe rom for Mi9se.
The installation is done successfully. I reboot the phone, and now, the device always boot on the TWRP.
So I flash the device again with the mi flash tool and official globale rom.
Then I try again, trying to format all data and other option, but it's always the same, device boot on TWRP everytime after custom rom installation.
What is wrong in my installation process ?
1. Coming from any Mi-ROM, you've to flash vbmeta before new ROM.
2. Try SHRP from march instead.
(please use the search to find details and files)

Try returning to stock with miflash.
if you can't return to stock then just use the 12.5.2 xiaomi.eu fastboot installer. This is the base that I use for all custom roms. I just flash the latest firmware before installing the custom rom.
Can you boot into fastboot? vol-/power?
If so, you could try to flash the latest TWRP and go from there...
Couldn't flash anything via fastboot and miflash worked so thank you guys
