Hi, right now I'm in the last pie firmware stable, if I want to downgrade to Oreo last stable. Is the arb will triggered? And my phone bricked?
Thankyou

If the ARB of your current ROM and the ARB of the ROM you are going to flash is same then there will be no issue in downgrade.
The risk involved only when your downgrade to a ROM whose ARB is less than your current ROM.
You can't only flash ROMs older than 9.5.19 global stable and 8.7.6 global beta, so no worries about arb thing.

Hello all ,
I checked ARB score and it is showing "4".
Currently I am on BETA MIUI 10...
but , as stable miui 10 is out , I want to try it ,
so , my question is can I flash stable rom (.zip) from updater app to get back on stable update ???
THANKS !
(little bit confused regarding Anti-Roll-Back )
Yes you can but you have to flash 9.6.4 stable ROM and then you have to flash MIUI 10 stable ROM... Some users reported that flashing MIUI10 stable ROM directly from MIUI10 beta ROM is not working
Does flashing to stable rom brick the device?
Cause i know for a fact that flashing back to 9.6.x.x will surely brick your device because of the Anti-Rollback Policy

No it won't cause any brick.
You can flash any ROM between 9.5.19 to 10.0.1 stable ROM. Althese ROMs are anti4 ROM so you can flash these ROMs

Hi, I just bought Redmi Note 5 today and after I turn it on, it is already on MIUI 10 8.7.5 Global Beta. The question is, can I roll it back to to MIUI 9.6 Global Stable? Because I found this rom isn't comfortable and I found so many bugs. I don't want to update it to MIUI 10 stable yet because ppl in MIUI forums complained that there are some bugs.
Thanks
Wtf...New device came with Developer beta rom?

8.7.5 miui 10 is ARB3 you can rollback to 9.5 miui 9.5.17.0 thats last ARB3..
or get 9.6.4.0 thats ARB4.
How come new device comes with beta ROM?? Something wrong with reseller please contact ask them
Right now your device is on arb3 (no antirollback) you can upgrade to latest version with firmware less ROM

Hi , si
can i go back to miui 9.6.4? I currently have 10 miui but I want to return to that version, as I can do it safely, I do not want my cell phone to be as brick because of the antirollback.

Yes you can donwgrade to 9.6.4 just flash recovery ROM using updater

or what is the reason of your answer

You can directly go from MIUI10 to 9.5.19
After downgrading just do a factory reset

Hi, to be continue with my doubt...
I want flash Xiaomi.eu in my device, however i afraid brick, becouse the diferentes versions between Xiaomi.eu and Global and release version.
So, i mounted comparation the Miui installed with future Xiaomi.eu (for installation).
Seemingly no have problems in install Xiaomi.eu, becouse the version selected is Miui 10.8 with Android Oreo and Xiaomi.eu not apply all firmware.
In below have links for imagens comparete two versions.
https://pasteboard.co/I9EPMPd.png
https://pasteboard.co/I9EPZdh.png
The thread forum in Xiaomi.eu about this version above, has closed. So i dont get experiences.
Whats your opnions about installation Xiaomi.eu in my device with version Global_V10.2.1.0.OEDMIFK with ARB 4?
PS.
My device has TWRP (by @nijel8) and unlock bootloader.
Thank you very much.
Android PIE and Oreo have the same ARB index. The difference is in MIUI 9 and it can not be returned to him.
What to use xiaomi.eu will not help you. I used several times but always returned to Global dev. In my opinion, Global is better and more stable. Xiaomi.eu on android PIE has different problems is not as stable as before, always has some problems.
I read that the stable Oreo was a good version but I did not use it.
Install and try, if it does not meet your expectations, make a full wipe and install the Global versions by Miflash.

Yes, i agree.
In conclusion, the differences between xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMAX3_8.11.1_v10-8.1 and miui_MIMAX3Global_V10.2.1.0.OEDMIFK_885d8903d6_8.1 are small.
I maked more one comparations between two versions ... the files in "META-INF\com\android\metadata"
https://pasteboard.co/I9G3G7c.png
I'll stay in my version for now ... I debloat and its was good. I will wait longer to upgrade to a more stable version.
Thank you very much!!
Oreo will not be developed any more, so this is the most stable version.
Wait for the new stable version of PIE Global. They probably corrected the errors from the previous version.

Hello.
I want to flash latest firmware, running Syberia ROM, but I want to know what are the differences between: FW, FW-less and FW-non-arb?
Thanks.
If you are still anti rollback (arb) 3, installing the latest firmware (FW) will update your bootloader, thus you will have arb 4.
Fw less roms come without the firmware. since there is no firmware, no way to trigger ARB.
Fw-non-arb are firmware files without the bootloader part, again no bootloader so arb will not be triggered.

Since 8.12.27 is the newest rom available you can install only FW as this would not trigger ARB (Both 9.6.4.0 and 8.12.27 are ARB4)
Hello. I have been using Xiaomi.eu 20.6.18 based on MIUI 12.1
In a few days I think that they will release MIUI 12.0 based stable release but my phone has ARP so I think that downgrading will brick it, don't it?
Anyway, this weekly ROM is working well at the moment but I would like to use the stable version someday. I have some doubts so I will put numbers in them:
1. Can I go back to MIUI 12.0 based ROM while using MIUI 12.1 based ROM or not? without triggering anti-rollback
2. Can I switch to Pixel Experience (for example) which is using Android 10? It is a newer version of Android but I don't know how MIUI ARP handles it
3. If the point 2 answer is 'yes', I suppose that ARP is gone (at least Xiaomi's one) so, can I install Xiaomi.eu MIUI 12.0 from Pixel Experience? (I will be downgrading I know)
Thanks all of you for your future answers, and sorry for the number of questions. Any doubt about my explanation or something just ask
Arb only matters if u go back to very old version of miui ie, 9 and some version of miui 10....it doesn't matter with custom ROMs also...u can also check ur current arb status
No arb was implemented with miui 9.5.19 (global stable), so u can go till this version without bricking ur phone.
As u r on latest beta u have an index value of 4.

Yes u can go easily.
I will recommend to go with fast boot method if u plan returning to miui 11

Yes u can use the recovery method for returning back to miui 11.
Why i was recommending the fast boot method?
Bcoz I've seen if u flash global miui after flashing china based/eu roms, u cannot change ur region to other country other than china. Obviously this can be fixed by editing build.prop or flash region fix but u will have to root in the 1st case.
But u can try recovery method brother.
Yes miui 12 is better than 11 bcoz of new privacy features, ios style control center, no miui optimization api.
