Any recommendations on a dashboard or window mount for the a100? I was thinking about hooking mine up to the car as a media player/gps.
Thanks

I purchased this and am surprised how well it holds the tablet: Arkon SM517 Windshield Mount for 7-Inch Tablets
It also works fine as a slightly oversized holder for my smartphone.
Hey thanks and it's cheaper than what other options i found.

I have this mount and it works great. I use it in an old Mac tractor trailer 5 days a week and it holds up great. Has yet to fall off the window, which is shocking cause my truck is very very rough riding.

800 or 850. This is one hell of a Tablet Holder! It will also take Samsung Galaxy S in portrait mode.
It is very well build, with quality plastic and soft touch materials. The joints are metal and really sturdy. It holds my a100 with almost no vibration even on rough roads.(I have the acer a100 genuine bump protector on - which is also the best in my opinion, even makes a100 more beautiful because the back is made in brushed metal look - stunning)
Pricey for sure! But functionality, looks and build quality goes for 9/10
P.S. You could easily read the reviews - they are all as nice as the product itself. There are also HD videos/illustrations in you tube/google where you could see what you are paying for in the closest detail!
Lots of options thats what i love about xda. Good people and good advice

Post your photos and reviews of car mounts for the HTC One.
I picked up one of these. It fits the One really well, it is easy to insert and remove the phone. The suction cup grips my dash really well, there is no way this thing is coming loose. The mount is not too large so it does not take up a lot of space on your dash and it is well made.

its so minimal and awesome. goes right on my air vent for close access. I use it in landscape and just have to press down with my phone to put it in and out

I have one in my car right now. It's awesome. It fits a Note 2 and still works with smaller phones like the One. The one handed removal and the auto closing feature is great to get the phone on the mount quickly.

This is the one I use, I got it on sale when it was around $15 and has served it's purpose well.
Unlike most dash mounts, this one goes into a CD player deck which I hardly use for CD's anyway. It locks in and it holds pretty secure.
i just bought one of these. it looks nice, but it wont work with a case on your phone. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121120265750?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I have tried Iottie, Mountek before. Now I have been using Steelie and all I can say is that Steelie is the best car mount for me. It is really easy to use and it covers very little space on your dashboard or console. No vibration at all and it is really flexible that you can adjust any angle really easily.
I also have the car mount in the OP. It's awesome. I've had it for about two weeks now, and it hasn't budged.
I bought this one from Nokia.I thing this is the perfect car mount for HTC ONE !
Only 17 euro.
Wow I really love that car mount!! Thanks!

Any dock with integrated charger?
So far the only 2 options I saw were the stock dock, which doesn't work for me since I have a cover. and the iBolt, which is somehow universal and flimsy, I had the iBolt dock for my S3 and hated it.
I've use Proclip for years with my Galaxy Nexus. I just picked up a HTC One so I've got one of their mounts on order.

I was browsing this a while ago and read about the Kenu Airframe. Ordered it last week. Shipped on monday and arrived today. Probably one of the most solid car mounts I've ever held for that price. Fits great even with a case and fits my circular vent perfectly. Was a bit skeptical because my vent is a bit recessed, but it worked out fine and is pretty damn solid. 5/5.
What a deal
Picked this up while browsing the clearance section in TJMax discount store. Made by "Digimaxx". Only paid $4.00!
I highly suggest the niteize steely also.
Ordered the airframe as well. Gotta agree it is solidly built and is alot smaller than what I imagined. I like how it can hold different devices and has enough pressure and grip so there will be no slipping. Great product and design.
Would you guys share what holders and chargers do you use in your cars?
I am looking for something decent.
Thanks

I use the Keno+ for Phablets. I drive a 2013 Honda civic and it plugs right into the vent to the right of the steering wheel. It works great, never fallen out, easy to adjust. I'd definitely recommend this one. Kenu Airframe+ Car Mount for Phablets.
I recently picked up a Scosche MagicMount at Walmart. The price was decent and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it holds the phone in place. The steel plate fits inside my case, and the phone doesn't move when attached to the mount.
After using it a bit I decided the mount location was too low for my taste, so I just ordered this version to move it up higher and make it adjustable. I don't have the new one yet, so no pics, but if it works like the flat version I'll be happy.
I use this GreatShield mount:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KVJAZVY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00
It's solid and holds the phone still, so I can't complain.
I use this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/151657398154
It is dirt cheap and actually nice quality. The suction thingy sticks to any surface.
iottie, i've never had a mount with this type of suction cup, it's crazy how well it grabs.
I use the Gripgo on my OPO with a Diztronic TPU case in my 2006 Honda civic

Why do I gave both? One for a vertical view and one for horizontal. They both hold and support the oneplus one.
The best option for this is with no doubt like this

I'll vouch for these too. I even use 2 to hold my iPad mini on my dash. Although I bought them from ebay, more expensive at 2 for £5GBP, but you get them in 3 days rather than the estimated 30-60 days from aliexpress.
See pic
I use this iOtie holder and it is perfect. The gel pad sticks without any issue and I'm not worried about it falling off on these crappy Dallas roads.
Does anyone have any experience with these for this phone? I have a thick-ish Spigen case and was looking for any recommendations for magnetic dash mounts. I currently have a CD slot mount but the cradle is too small and the whole thing is just bulky overall. Ideally the magnet is strong enough that the phone won't slide or move around too much while driving. Thank you in advance for any help!

I own one it's a vent clip it works great with the car off otherwise it will fall every bump. Also if you have to drive on bumpy road it will fall off even without the case.
I have yet to find one with a strong enough magnet to hold it steady no matter what.
I bought this one and its been in my Tow Truck since i got it. My S8+ has yet to fall from it.

Can anyone recommend a good car mount?
I just bought some cheesy magnetic thing from Amazon. Will be returning ASAP. Ideally, I think I'm looking for something that can clip into either the air vents or on the dash of my car. I realized there probably aren't many pixel specific accessories made yet, but maybe someone has had good success with a different model for an earlier phone?
Anyway just wondering what you all were planning on using.
I've been using a good magnetic mount for the CD slot in my car since the Nexus 5 days. I like the Koomus brand of them from Amazon.

I personally been using ProClip for a while. With my Nexus 6 I have a universal one since I have a thin case it slips in. Mounts are made per vehicle too.

I've had the third generation iOttie car mount for about a year, and it is excellent. It doesn't have a vent clip, but its suction cup mount is very sturdy. It even comes with a little pad you can use if your dash is textured.
I second the ProClip. You can get a custom mount for your vehicle, and select a separate holder. I've got a custom mount and a universal holder that can be adjusted if you switch phones.
I second the recommendations for iOttie mounts. I bought their wireless charging one back when I got my Galaxy S6, but I still use it with my Pixels because it is incredibly convenient to secure and remove the device. Excellent quality, usability, and adjustability, well worth the purchase.

Looks like a solid product! I have an '09 Kia Spectra and the dash doesn't look like an easy place to put a phone mount. I checked out their custom mount for my car and the only drawback I can see is it completely covers a vent (for a/c) which may or may not be an issues, I won't know until mounted but.. Any experience with that for you?
Yea on my prior vehicle I had it cover the vent. It was out far enough so it still put out air but it wasn't really directional as far as flow as before. Center ones I didn't care as much about being pointed at me to keep cool. It was a solid bracket though

I have an existing car mount for my S7 before I got the XL, it holds the phone in landscape and squeezes the sides. Little concerned that this may not be good for the squeeze sensors. Anyone think it could affect the sensors over time?
I have this one since May 2016 no issues and easy off and on for various phones..I have vent but they make cd slot and I think window too

Another vote for Proclip's mounting solution. The universal large holder works fine with my Pixel 2 XL with a (Caseology Parallax) case. It's pricey but it works beautifully.
I just ordered the IOAuto magnet holder to use with Proclip's mounting bracket. I'm tired of sliding my phone into the holder. 1st world problems, I know.

How does that work exactly? Which iOttie did you buy, and how does it work with the ProClip bracket?

I bought the IOAuto Pro. It attaches to the vehicle mount that I purchased previously from Proclip. It comes with small circular metal disks that should be attached to your phone.
I hate the thought of using adhesive to stick anything on my phone so I'm going to try and place the disk between the phone and my TPU case. In think the magnet will still work fine.
Check out YouTube. I've seen a couple of videos of others installing it.

I like this simple magnetic holder:
Techmatte MagGrip Orbit Universal Air Vent Magnetic Car Mount Holder
It requires a thin metal plate which works fine if you use a TPU case or other case that's not too thick on the back; this way, it doesn't require any permanent application. I bought 3 for family members, and a friend got one after seeing mine. It's easy to mount, secure, very simple in design - it uses a steel ball that mounts to an air vent, and a magnetic piece that connects to the ball, giving easy adjustment in all directions, or complete removal. This magnetic piece connects to the phone's steel plate. My wife has an iphone 6P which works well; I have a nexus 5X.

I'm curious to see if that works out for you. I'm intrigued, but it seems like $50 is a bit steep for that mount. If it works well for you with a case, I may consider it though.
I know my solution isn't going to be for everyone, but it works well for my needs. I have a hybrid Proclip/Ram Mount solution. Proclip for the center dash mount, then Ram Mounts for the rest (ball, short arm, and X Grip holder). It's more involved than the common solutions, but it puts my phone right whereIi want it and it's rock solid--which is important for those track days.
As mentioned upthread, this does partially block the vent, but on my Mustang not by too much, and the passenger still gets air flow when it's directed their way. A bonus is the phone stays nice & cool when staying on playing podcasts while commuting, or running the telemetry apps while on track.
I can strongly recommend this one. They're a little pricey but I have them in my truck, car, 4-wheeler and mountain bike. Just the spring clips are strong and when you add the rubber sling it'll hold on to the phone almost no matter what. This one actually fits my P2XL better than my PXL. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0066BWMNU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
