Is anyone having an issue with charging? There is no problem with the original charging kit and the USB port, just only not charging until I restart.
Is that a software specific issue on Android 9? I wish Nokia can fix that issue

I have a problem with my Redmi 1s mobile. When I connect my Phone to system through data cable, USB not recognized error is coming. when I connect my phone with original charger of MI, charging is very slow in stable rom, not charging in custom roms like AICP,LineAge, AOSP OSs etc. It is taking some time to start the charging process when I connect charger.
I have installed/checked with most of the stable ROMs like MIUI 6,7,8 and 9.
Rarely it works normally (This error won't come).That time charged fast.
Please any one tell me, is problem with Hardware or Software?

try using different USB cable(original recommended) most possibly USB cable issue.
i did had this issue regarding slow charging. i bought original one from service center and problem was solved but before that i checked it with my friends xiaomi usb cable and it worked so made purchased.
So I successfully upgraded this old flagship to the latest Oreo Rom(lineage os)
But something weird starts to happen because it seems that vooc charging is not working?
IDK if my battery is the problem but I already checked for the issue and tried new battery and the vooc charging didn't work at all ;/
Another thing that I might concern about is the vooc charger itself,as my original find7 charger was broken,I had to buy a new vooc charger,is it not compatible with the find 7 itself?or something wrong with the ROM itself?

I just noticed that charging with an other charger (chromebook, 45 Watt) no longer works. I have 3 of them, works on none of them. When I use the original charger and cable, no problem. Port is clean
It used to work without problem before Android 10. Others with same problem? Is this really an Android 10 problem?
I just tried and it works fine with my 45w Asus charger that come with the C302.

i have a renault.
Last year with miui 11 somewhere in december my phone charged just fine wehn it was connected to the car. Android auto worked fine as well.
Now with Miui 12 it stopped chargin. THe charging indicator on my phone goes of and on every second.
Tried all the tricks with, replacing the cable with an original from a friend.
Tried to toggle debugging on and off.
Updated my medianav evolution software (there where no updates).
Went to the Renault dealer to check for energy spikes in the charging socket, all their phones worked fine.
Tried a Xiaomi redmi note 8 pro from a friend, same issue.
Tried a Samsung mobile phone, charged fine and AA was working with the same cable i have for my xiaomi.
Tried a Hiuawei mobile phone, worked perfectly.
Tried an oppo phone, worked perfectly.
I never have charging issues with my phone connected to any device like a pc, laptop, charger, tv, android box etc etc.
My suspicion is that there is something in Miui that is causing the problem. I have seen a lot of threads about Miui andr AA for example.
Anybody have any idea why my phone stopped charging in my car? ANd when i get this resolved i assume AA will work again also.

Are you connecting to car usb port?
I doubt its miui, sounds like hardware, probably battery circuit board keeps disconnecting.
Maybe you can buy cheap charger for cigarette lighter port.
I agree that IT must be hardware.
I connect to USB port of my car because i want to use Android auto. IT charges fine when connected to charger or any other device like a computer.
I Read somewhere that maybe a USB hub could help. Will try that today

yes it's the original charger and they're new and clean....
the problem is sometimes when i plug it in nothing happens, no charge, no sign or icon as if its not connected at all... i try reboot and again nothing....
so i stop trying,, and after a while i try again and its working.!!
it's weird and feels like a software bug or something...
does it happen when cable is flipped? I've noticed on some phones the cable doesn't work one way but does the other way. no idea why. maybe loose contact points.
also could you do me a favour please. under settings in display settings, does the redmi note 11 prp have an option for antiflicker setting?
