what is the default font on pixel 3xl?
Product Sans is used in some places, Roboto in others, I believe. Most headers/titles are Product Sans while subtext is Roboto (I think).
Example: In the settings menu the title of each settings item is Product Sans while the descriptions are not.

yeah prob, but i forgot to say font color...smh
ok i figured out that the certain font colors im trying to change is dependent on what you click on --> apps, games, movies (the tabbed color on the main screen next to the selection) matches the color of the font after you click on the section you choose & i want 2 versions one all red one all white & i have no idea how these are changed bc it matches the .9.pngs that are the colored tabs for the selections, so i dunno if it reads the color for the fonts from the .9.pngs or if its separately controlled by a xml file

I used to have the font packs from Gianton. He said that it is not possible to change fonts in Pixel XLwithout huge modifications. Is this still true?
No it's not true.
I've changed my fonts using Substratum.
It doesn't even need a reboot to switch fonts.
Attached is a screenshot showing my new font.
The font of gboard changed as well. That's global.

Either that or an OMS(?) compatible ROM.
Pure Nexus or Dirty Unicorns to name a few.

Yes, I am aware of Sub, it does not change ALL of the fonts in the phone. Unless I'm the lucky one..

Hi, I have a quick question for all of you. We know that Roboto is the standard font that we need to use for our Android App. Google Material design specification mentions about Roboto font.. I would like to know can designer/developer use different fonts like Open Sans, sans-serif etc for designing the android UI. Could you please suggest how to use different fonts for Android design? Does it break any rules or does it work in every android screen density? Is it mandatory to use the Roboto font?

Hi,
I read your query and would like to share my experience regarding the fonts used in Android applications. Roboto is the standard font because its visual effects are nice on the device but, it doesn't make it a mandatory choice while app development. You may go for whichever font suits your application until it doesn't make the app interface messy. Also, while choosing the font, you should not try to opt for multiple varieties of styles for a single application. One font style is enough to make app text clear and effective.
Thanks.
Is there any way that I can install the Google's font on the whole device and not only to Google's apps? (I inserted 2 pictures just so you can understand on what font i am talking about).

Thank you sir!
Is this possible?
If not, can anyone recommend a theme in which the ONLY thing changed is the accent colour?
Hopefully Samsung adds this option in future updates.

Download hex installer from google play. You can configure high contrast theme to your preferences.
Download goodlock app from galaxy store. You can use the "quickstar" settings to customize the color of the quick settings.

You made my Day!
I gave a try to Samsung Good Lock app and it's pretty good, but changes only the accent colour of quickstart menu (phone, messages and other components were still in blue).
I solved using #Hex Installer - Themes for OneUI (as suggested by Poedra13). I have created my custom theme with desired accent colour then I switched to dark mode from the #Hex app and everithing works like a charm. Now the whole UI and also the others apps have my custom accent colour.
