First of all,
I wanna say hello to every user I've been looking for Hue set alternative for my Philips 55PUS7303. Is there any other producer, that makes alternative products to Hue, that is cheaper? Also is there any solution right now to change volume with my pilot, when jack plug from my stereo is connected to tv? It used to work, but after update it's not working properly.
Thanks in advance, I'm glad I found this forum
Hi,
- Hue: Philips Hue Bridge + IKEA bulbs
- Volume: with Oreo the original state was re-introduced (with Nougat this was a "bug" - that you can control headphones with RC)

Hello Toengel, I really appreciate Your fast reaction. Is there any safe way to downgrade to Nougat ? Cause this Oreo 'bug fix' makes me crazy
Hi,

Arkamys is an audio enhancement from a well known car audio manufacturer
Increase the maximum volume without distortion
Superior audio rendering with no hardware changes (suitable QC only!)
Clearer, crisper sound for music and speech
Higher volume and deeper basses
*How to install?
Just download the zip and flash it through recovery
*How to uninstall?
I suggest you to do a nandbackup in recovery at this time
(maybe later i'll make an uninstaller script)
*How to change effects presets?
At this point there is no way to change the presets
*What version of sense/android/whatever do i need?
This will work for other HTC's, and probably other smartphones with Qualcomm.
Tested on MM ICE10 port for m9 made by Golv and Ice team (should work on lolli as well)
FOR ALL OF THOSE "SOUNDMODDERS" - YOU ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED TO USE THIS PORT IN YOUR "MODS"!
feedback anyone?
Great quality - both on headphones and built-in speakers. I will check later today how it performs in my car
will install it on my OP3 and see how it goes
---------- Post added at 11:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:19 PM ----------
okay i installed it on the OP3
tested with my HTC in-ear buds:
1- I can confirm that the bass is deeper!
2- Overall better sound output with better mids and highs with a little bit soundstage widening
3- No volume boost as far as i am concerned
tested with Anker Sports Soundbuds:
1- I sense more like volume leveler effect here, which makes the sound louder in a "dynamic" way, albeit it is slightly felt
2- Overall better sound output (not that sure about that one) placebo
more in depth reviewing tomorrow when connecting the phone to my sub-woofer set (11 watts 2.1 ch Genius one)
This is just a quick "review"
Plus, I use my Sub-Woofer set way more than the in-ear buds or the bluetooth buds even
I tried this mod hooked up direct to my Chevy truck..it was too me like turning off h/k and nothing else..but like I set it's a Chevy..soo
Æaay..\../
@UltraM8 Okay so I hooked up the OP3 to my sub-woofer, here is what I got:
1- deeper bass and way much less distortion at max volume; the bass is not that thin anymore or overpowered or anything like that
2- lower overall volume ?
3- slight clarity increase
Tested on the OnePlus 3 with no external DSP/EQ + Genius 2.1 ch Speaker System with 3.5" 8 ohms Sub-woofer (6 watts output) and two 2" 4 ohms tweeters (2.5 watts output) with overall output of 11 watts.
Suggestions:
1- An EQ is so welcome to tune it for my liking
2- increase the 60/66/78/120 Hz a little bit for more "booming"
3- Make a general one without the htc_audio_effects.conf file and instead edit the generic audio_effects.conf one, definitely appreciated
Can test it on the M9 in a while, running ICE Golv's 10 port.
Wish all the best! :highfive:

There is not much you can do with presets - those for QC are closed-coded, ones for MTK - there are hundreds of lines, so it will be pretty hard to change anything) About the conf files: so you deleted it in htc ones, right? Cause when i did my testings something was wrong with htc's stock music player (like the effect was unable to connect, or maybe my ears were so tired of testing i didn't hear the difference))
I will ask a guy who made a port of yours OP3 EQ, if he can share his work, or you can help us - just rip everything related to eq in the system))

I copied the arkamys lines from the htc_audio_effects.conf to /system/etc/audio_effects.conf then deleted the htc file since it is a OnePlus 3 here.
Anyway, I dug in the zip and found some files like 0_TUNING, 1_TUNING and so on.. with some saying Bypass
And the xml file setting different profiles for different devices (speakers are off ??)
Are those various profiles ?

There are no difference for speakers (as ive heared). Xml files from QC are unchangeble. I'm trying to use MTK files - those you can try to change, but you wouldn't))) Just pm me, and i will rip several files for you tomorrow
@UltraM8 kindly check your PM
sorry for the late reply, i was extremely busy, in an extra-ordinary way to make me almost disappear from XDA haha

Hey guys...
ScreaMySkrillEX here..
This is an audio mod made specifically for the ZUK Z2(all variants) on the request of @devabhi..
I currently have made this mod for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3(kenzo) and this is gonna be my 2nd device..
Coming back to the mod, this is purely based on hardware tweaks and modding rather than software mods like Dolby atmos, viper4android, etc. which make changes at software-level.
This mod globally enhances the music experience.
What does it do(currently)?
This mod actually enables the earpiece speaker also along with the bottom-firing speakers. So you have a dual speaker config like the HTC10 has where the purpose of the speakers are same. The loudspeaker is untouched but the earpiece behaves like a mid-range booster and adds some more detail for the speaker audio output. I have also some minor tweaks to the headphone audio also. This mod enables CLS_H_HIFI mode during headphone audio playback which should make your listening experience better than stock.
Install Instructions:
1) Download the latest release of shox Audio Mod.
2) Reboot to recovery.
3) Flash the zip.
4) Reboot.
5) Magic.
This mod supports all other software mods like Dolby atmos, viper4android, etc without breaking their functionality and supports all ROMs.
Read the second post for download link, more info and tips.
Thanks to:
@chdloc - Has thought me many things. I learnt most of the tweaking from his advice's and suggestions.
@UltraM8 - For his Ainur SAURON audio mod.
@zhuhang - For his Viper4Android and IRS samples.
@ZeroInfinity - For his contribution to the android community. Has done many great works in audio modding section. His works were the inspiration for me.
@devabhi - For PMing me to add support this device too. This mod is here because of him.
@ahh988 - For being a prominent tester for this mod. Most of the testing has been done by him. This mod is alive thanks to him.
Link to the google drive folder which contains flashable zip of all releases:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5ratNhH-7mGa1I4VW5wMXlmYjg
Recommended tips:
1)This mod works(should work) on all ROMs and kernels. If there is any compatibility issues or other requests, please post a reply. I will definitely respond to it.
2)Flash Ainur Sauron audio mod made by @UltraM8 along with this mod for a much better experience. This is currently the best audio mod which is the cleanest..Please thank him for his great work...
Link here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/soundmod-ainur-audio-t3450516
3)Users who need more tweaking to the audio can use Viper4Android.
Link here:http://vipersaudio.com/blog/?page_id=25
4)I have included some of the best IRS samples for viper4android(according to me). So try it out if you are using viper4android for complete control over your music. Extract the zip and place the contents in viper4android/kernel directory of your internal storage.(the zip provided is not recovery flashable).
5)People who use MX player for videos can enable SW audio boost which will further increase the sound levels through speakers without any distortions..
It is recommended not to listen through speakers at full volume for longer periods.. Keep the volume low by 1 or 2 steps from the max.
6)People who think that the present max volume through headphones isn't enough can install viper4android and increase output gain to 6dB in master gate..
My personal Viper4Android settings:
Master power - on
Playback gain control - off
FET compressor - off
Viper DDC - on, set to sennheiser hd558
Spectrum extension - on, set to 1.0
Firequalizer - off
Convolver - off
Differential surround, field surround, headphone surround+, reverberation - all set to off
Dynamic system - off
Viper bass - off
Viper clarity - off
Tube sound simulator - off
AnalogX - on, set to extreme
My earphones :
1) Sennheiser cx180 street-II - daily outdoor use.
2) Skullcandy Ink'D - used rarely.
3) Sony MDR-ED12LP - used when I'm at home.
Changelogs:
V1 - *initial release.
*increased amp gain for more headphone volume and decreased DAC gains to remove distortions.
*added dual speaker config like htc10.
V1.1 - *added support to flyme OS(thanks to @sonictrain for reporting)
V1.2 - *enabled compander for headphone audio to increase the amp gain to the max.
*readjusted earpiece and loudspeaker audio for both htc10 and stereo version.
*added a new version called stereo version
*htc10 version is the default dual speaker config which I had made in the initial release of the mod.
*stereo version enables stereo playback through speaker audio. Earpiece behaves as left speaker and loudspeaker behaves as the right speaker. Its a true stereo effect. You can check it out with stereo test music or app.
V1.3 - *added support for stock ZUI ROM (thanks to @ahh988)
*added a new version called stock version which only makes changes to audio through headphone jack without touching anything else. So now you have three versions:
1)stock version
2)htc10 version
3)stereo version
*made some changes to volumes of all streams from 87(ZUK stock) to 84(hardware stock value). I don't know why did ZUK people kept it at 87. This will remove distortions in headphone e audio.
*added an impedance selection for people who use headphones with high or low impedance. The installer configures the amp settings appropriately to give you the best audio experience possible.
*Increased amp volume from stock value 12 to 16 for low impedance and 20 for high impedance to boost headphone jack output volume without causing any distortions.
*added ota survival script for the mod.
*finally, integrated the mod into an aroma installer.(thanks to @MOVZX)
*Retuned stereo version to balance the audio and give a perfect sound (thanks to @ahh988)
*added 24-bit audio rendering through headphone jack output to increase sound quality.
Need more testers people.
I currently don't own the device so you guys should help me in making this mod more featured.
And you all are most welcome for your suggestions..
Please test the mod and tell me what's missing and what's wrong with your device audio outputs.

Hi there!
Flashed "shox_Audio_Mod_Dual_ZUKZ2_V1.zip", rebooted, but I'm missing the last step I can't see the magic!
Am I forgetting some step?
I'm on Zuk z2 Plus with twrp 3.1 by Fedor and FlymeEU 1.5 by JJ17 with Darkmoon kernel.

V1.1 uploaded to drive folder.
Flash it and see once...
@sonictrain
Flyme OS which you use has mixer_paths_tasha_z2_plus.xml also along with the original one. Seems like the ROM uses the z2 plus xml.
So my mod wasn't working..
Please check v1.1.
I have uploaded it to google drive folder.

Thanks for the mod! But what's new on version 1.2_stereo and 1.2_htc10?
What's is the difference between them?
And I think the earpiece volume could be a little higher.
I'm on AEX 4.3 with ARISE Sound Mod (Dolby Plus + ICE)

Hi,
I have LineageOS 16 installed on my XA2 Pioneer, but a stock Android feature is missing: Accessibility > Audio Balance.
I would like to increase volume of one audio channel because I have a hearing impairment. I checked the documentation, and it appears you could achieve this in previous versions via adapting of system/etc/mixer_paths.xml. I cannot find this file anymore though, could someone please help me out here? Thanks a lot!
I've got almost the same problem. My phone is a Asus Zenphone Max Pro M1 (what a big name!) modded with LineageOS 16, and I can't find the Audio Balance setting, it's missing and both of my headphones (Bluetooth and wired) only has sound output from the right ear. So, how can I fix this? Any ideas?
Hi community.
My wife has a ear disease and she is deaf on the left ear.
I can't find default android system audio balance settings for set audio on the right ear when she uses her BT headphones (because the sound vibrations hurts her left ear).
I searched in Play Store an app that can help me to do this without success.
Thank you

I attached screenshots about redmi note 8 pro's (android pie) accessibility settings menù where there isn't audio balance option.
I also tried equalizer pie (free and pro) but It doesn't make any audio changes (audio balance, equalizer presets, etc with or without wired headphones, BT headphones, nothing), even in my LG G7 Thinq too.
this is screenshot from my access. settings, turn on mono audio and balance will show.

Does your 4th photo not show the Ballance.
If you cannot find an software fix, you could always buy an audio balance adaptor like the one i have linked below.

Thank you, I will considerer it
You can download the "sound amplifier" by Google which is an accessibility app and according to my experience with it I think it will solve your issue.....the app was announced as a feature of Android 10 but was posted to play store for anyone to download if their version of Android is supported.
I have not tested the app as an accessibility app I only checked it out of curiosity

Hi,
thank you for suggestion.
Sound amplifier works like an ambience sound amplificator using the phone's microphone but ot doesn't work with media played by the phone.
Hi. Really need some help.
Description: Redmi Note 5 has a working sound mod (zip attached in the file), which adds the left audio channel to the speaking speaker.
Only all these mods have a common flaw. They simply add the L channel to the upper speaker, BUT do not remove the left channel from the lower speaker. Thus, you get the following wrong [L-LR] scheme.
Need: Remove the L channel from the lower speaker to get the [L-_R] pattern.
Please help me, I'm planning to install two identical speakers in my smartphone to make a game console with real stereo sound. This little misunderstanding prevents me from doing that, I already bought the speakers, and it would be a shame not to use them.
Attach clean files + mod.
