[Mini-Theme][4.2.2] S4 Unknown Contact Icons

Dear Friends,
Last leaked 4.2.2 firmware realy looks the S4 theme, exept the 'Unknow' (or default) contact icon :

Here is a little VR Theme that replace this icon (and only this icon) in the following app :
- SMS,
- Contact,
- Phone.
Phone example :
(also replace the default icon in contact list, sms list ...).
As the MOD is a VR-Theme, it should be compatible on any 4.2.2 ROM (and other but not tested).

i tried it works perfectly

Work fine, just look when go to emergency dial from lockscreen.

In messages shows me the new pics but also in the contacts whith a previous added photo.

Is anyone seeing a big black or white thunder icon in the way of Google news feed (when you swipe left from home screen)? Also the text from the news articles are cut off

That part of assistant is working fine for me.

I have the same issue with normal Pie not on Q

I solved it be uninstalling Google app to the factory version. Works fine again. After updating again, problem reappears. It's just a bug with the latest Google app. I'm waiting until the next version is available until I try updating the app again.
Edit: Not sure if it's just the Beta app doing this or the stable app, or both?

Had the issue yesterday. It fixed itself by this morning.

Display / screen issue

Hello Forum,
I have a brand new Redmi Note 8 Pro and I am having an issue in my screen.
It randomly appears a kind of 'shade' which keeps popping-up. The only way to get rid of it is by closing all apps.
Unfortunately, I don't find the way to attach the screenshot here....
Anyone experiencing something similar? How can it be solved?

Maybe screenshoot and upload it to Imgur. But I don't know if links are allowed on XDA

Yeah i am also facing that issue .
is it like you just used an app for like 20 to 30 minutes and than you just turn to another app but the previous app screen will be slightly shaded in background? mostly happens with keyboard it shades in background if you are chatting alot. please confirm i didnt find anything about this on internet let me know if its like this.

Backup your data and do a Reset is the simplest way to attempt to fix the issue.

How to minimize persistent badge notification

I just installed LineageOS 17.1 with microG on my Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and I'd like to know how to minimize persistent notification (as you can see on the screenshot below)

So, you can see 4 persistent notifications (Override DNS, AFWall+, Tasker and Fairemail). On my previous Stock ROM Android 9 on Sony, I was able to minimize them. I mean, no more persistent badge on top, but when I scrolled down the notification panel, I was able to see the text of those app (and being sure then that they are still running, especially for Override DNS and AFWall+). You can see an example in the picture below.

Is there any way to get this same feature on LineageOS 17.1 (it's Android 10, so I presume it have the same features than Android 9, and even more). Having 4 persistent badges is quite annoying to be honest.

1) Long press on that target app (e.g. AFWall+)
2) Go to notifications
3) Choose the notification in the list which you want to edit
4) Choose "Silent"
5) Choose "Minimize"
Done

and i'm looking for a calendar app for the watch and not found.
are its possible and how to find and install the calendar app for this watch?

Hi! Has anyone figured this out? Everything else on the Watch is fantastic, but not being able to even view my next appointment *at all* from my Watch is no bueno. I've tried sideloading a couple of calendars to no avail. I'm using a Fold 4.
