Cannot unlock bootloader - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello,
I followed the steps given in this thread to unlock the bootloader of my Redmi Note 5 Pro, but I have not been able to do so. I have had this device for over a year and used the same Mi Account on it for a long time.
Things I have tried:
1. Waited for 360 Hours (MiUnlock v3.3.525.23 gave me 360 Hour message when I first tried to unlock).
2. Flashed latest developer ROM.
3. Used various MiUnlock versions (v3.3.525.23, v3.3.827.31, v3.3.1212.33).
Here are the error messages that I get now:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The tool is buggy as hell, half the time it fails at 50% (Verifying device), the other times at 99%. Any way I could make this work?
Thanks

Resolved
Turns out the MiUnlock tool does not play well with AMD Ryzen processor based systems. Tried to unlock on an Intel system and was successful in the first attempt.
Pretty frustrating to say the least. :/

Unable to flash device using FlashTool for Mac OS X

Hello,
I am attempting to flash my Sony Xperia M phone, to downgrade it from 4.3 to 4.1 (in order to install a custom ROM).
I have downloaded two versions of the 4.1 OS, but neither appear to work.
The problem is, the progress bar indicating how far along the Flashing process is, is stuck at one point forever.
As I understand, it should take only a matter of minutes, but I've left it going for hours at a time, but it never completes.
There seems to be something wrong with the software, or the OS I've downloaded, or the phone itself. I have no idea.
If you are able to suggest ways around this problem, that would be appreciated.
Here's a screenshot and a WebM of the Flashing process.

HTC M9 stuck on TWRP (cannot install or do anything else)

Well, I should start with that this is my gf's phone and I've installed LinageOS quite a while ago. She's saying that she was installing a weekly update when the phone crashed and after that it started to stay on the boot window for hours. When I tried to manually update the phone via TWRP it showed this:

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
Tried some Youtube guides, as changing from EXT 4 to EXT 2 and back again, repairing the file system, but it just says the same thing all the time. Any ideas how to fix that? Thanks in advance!
I'm not very experienced in that (only installed a few ROMs to a few different phones), so it would be great to get some step-by-step guide, so I don't mess something up <3
Flash back to stock and start over. If the ruu can't fix it then nothing will.

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S8+ SM-G955U / 8.0.0/R16NW/G955USQS5CRH1

Hello,
I reset my S8+ phone but now I am locked out because of a google FRP. I don't remember the google account so I cant get in any more. I have attempted to use various methods including, Z3X pro tool, and other techniques. But now I run into the issue of error (1) can't read SN from Z3X. I can't down rev to android 7 because there is no U5 bootloader for the SM-G955U on Nougat. Sigh I don't know what to do now. I have a full Z3X pro tool working (v.29.5) and Odin 3.13.
I have been using the only Combo file I am aware of with u5: COMBINATION_FA70_G955USQU5ARF1 and then the stock Samsung G955USQS5CRH1_G955UOYN5CRH1_TMB.zip firmware.

What am I not thinking of, I am a programmer and I know my way around a system but, I am not a phone person so I am looking for any guidance.
I have spent about 20 hours so far, its become quite a frustration.
The issue is getting the Google FRP reset, the Samsumg account was never made for this phone so its just the Google FRP.
Than you in advance for any ideas.
