Hello, I have recently bought a 42mm, and I was really looking forward to use the Analog Utility watch face which i like a lot.
With my surprise i see i couldn't find it, but I have installed it from the Store, the "official" from Samsung. BUT..! it is not possible to customize the complications, and so i have only floor and steps.
Is this watchface available only on the 46mm variant? How can i eventually fix this? Thanks!
I have a normal version (NO LTE) and firmware 4.0.0.1
I don't know about this particular watchface but there are so many other great ones out there. Check out Huck's World on YouTube. He does reviews every day. Most watchfaces he highlights are free for awhile each day.

If you don't like any that you see in the store, your can always try making your own with Samsung's Gear Watch Designer app or Facer offers lots of watchfaces too. There are others as well.

I know the store it is the same I was just wondering if this watchface comes as default on the 46mm version, because I have seen it. And on my 42mm there isn't, in the one available in the store (which i have downloaded) you cant customize the complications.
There are 2 types of Analog Utility one which is pre-installed and customisable while the other is from store which is called Analog Utility (Gear Sport) and isn't customisable both have subtle differences between them the gear sport version has a ring of smaller lines on the edges and minutes in between and is by default set to yellow colour while the pre-installed version has customisable option and a date with day

No it is available on my Galaxy watch 42mm so I am not sure if it's something to do with region or something else but it is available from the start on the 42mm one and can't be deleted

I use a Indian one. I don't no if there is a way to share a pre-installed watch face but if there is one I don't know about it. Maybe try backing up and changing CSC to something else or a simple reset.

Hello everyone!
Maybe a dumb question, but how do you activate the car home?
A lot of reviews mentionned it, but I can't find it on my phone...
Thanks.
Not a dumb question at all..
I can't help you I'm afraid.
In addition to what you are seeking, I'm about to start a search looking for the morning Alarm Clock screen with Home Apps as well.
Use car dock once it comes it, or has it?
Using it will activate car home.

Negative... this screen operates independently of the car dock.
Think of it this way ~ how on earth can a piece of hardware control what you see on your screen if the items are not there in the first place.
What about the Morning screen with it's large digital clock and several morning applications all in landscape mode and the TV Remote control?
You can't say until we get the hardware we can't see those screens and apps as well!

In its in-car mount, GALAXY S turns into my own personal assistant—instantly providing me with weather, Google maps, Google voice search, and navigation services. Getting directions is as easy as simply speaking my request. With Google Maps Navigation, GALAXY S not only fetches the directions, but lets me choose 3 ways to view them—in real- time with Real Street View, Traffic View, or Satellite View.
Desk Mount
GALAXY S knows how to bring my day to a relaxing end. When set on its side in the cradle or docking station, GALAXY S switches to a new interface, selecting four vital functions needed to help transition into a lasting, satisfying state of rest—table clock, audio station, digital photo frame and calendar.

True true, but according to the way that Samsung phrases it, it appears to be the way I've stated it. Correct or no?
So far everything that I've said is speculations BASING on official sources.
Yes it's not 100% correct, but at least pretty high accuracy.

I understand completely what you are saying here but it was Samsung themselves who told me the apps are already installed.
It just seems so weird you need a mount of some sort to display them.
Taking this further, what about the Remote TV Controller, how the heck can we put this same logic into practice?
hi

Many thanks.
Now we're getting somewhere.
All we now need is for someone at Samsung to wake up and sort this out for the Galaxy S.

It just feels like everything on this phone is about waiting for Samsung, I suspect all these features will eventually appear, its just about having the patience to wait for them.
Still waiting for the Home Dock, the Car Dock, the TV control, for Kies to recognize the 9000 on the app store, for spare batteries, for firmware updates... and of course Froyo.

I have patience, no doubt about that. I need it by the bucket load in my profession.
What annoys me though is when a department fail to provide material facts, especially when these facts have been mentioned that long they now appear as works not of fact but fiction.
Yes, they will come but in the meantime it remains shoddy there is nothing available of material in both the items and information.
Agreed, its pretty poor that they didn't at least add the token '* coming Sept 2010' instead of faking up the applications and presenting them as ready and available now.

Logic?
The logic that we gotta employ is simply regard Samsung's strategy as NOT using any logic at all.
Like we discussed last time, 2011+ tv only.
I guess the only way for us to find out is to email Samsung. Someone should compile a list of "urgency" questions and we'll all send it to Samsung Mobile department.
-------------------------------------------------------------
But Beardds, at least they have released the phone first right?
I mean com'on, it's better than waitin for both the phone PLLUSSSS the support.
And to reply to your "firmware support" concern, I've seen new firmware updates nearly every other day, I might be wrong but you should check out Samsung Firmware "official' site

This is strange, confusing and disappointing.
Why has Samsung released these apps which we have been asking them time after time but with no response and yet here you find them listed.
The European SIM free Galaxy S does not list any of these apps on either the Samsung or general Market.
Could you upload the .apk files so that we can check to see if they will install and load please?
So Samsung support wasn't that crazy when they said it could be on the market already, just not for the i9000
Funny how the US versions seems to get preferential treatment, in both accessories and software. Still no dock or cases to be found on the EU sites
Any takers out there think they could make a simple watch face as attached for the 360?
I have looked all over the forum and online trying to find an analog watch with all 12 numbers and easy to view hands-
I has to have a date, battery gauge and a dim mode similar to the Panerai watches that are on here
I love all of the watch faces on this forum but I need something that I can glance at thats more readable
I attached a Maratac Pilots watch that I own - Very simple but easy to read dial
Thanks

Not exactly what you are looking for, but I did see some IWC watches here's one, but not as big of a font that you like in the pic you attached.

You can easily add battery/weather/any text to your favorite face in Facer. Select the face, click "edit", add any text or image you like.
I've tried to do some searching on this topic, but haven't quite come up with a solid answer.
Is there a way to have multiple custom watch faces on the watch at the same time? I have several which I'd like to switch between on the watch. WHen showing off my new toy though, having to pull out the phone to apply them isn't as 'neat' when showing off the custom watch faces to a friend than just making the switch right on the watch.
A strategy I thought of is to install both Facer and WatchMaker (I currently only have WatchMaker). Then, I could probably hold 2 custom faces since I'd be able to press and hold and go back and forth between the two apps. That should work, right?
Does anyone else know another way I could possibly accomplish having more than one custom watch face on the device at a time?
Thanks,
Zeustopher

Thanks for the link.
So with this app, will it let me choose between multiples right on the watch? From the description of the app it looks like it is designed for you to preselect a few watch faces and then it automatically changes between them after a specified amount of time. Thats not quite what I was looking for, but could still prove to be useful.
Also - as an update from my original post, I've purchased Facer as well and it does now allow me to hold 2 custom watch faces since I can choose a watch face for WatchMaker and a different one for Facer and then switch between them on my watch.
Thanks,
Zeustopher
I too have both face and watch maker.. Switch between these two and moto my design watch face...
Spoilt by the watch faces I have.. I feel the need to keep changing them frequently

Hello,
My favorite watch face, Digitalog, was lost after updating my W1 to Wear 2.0.
Here are two screenshots with the watch face:

Is this documented anywhere?
Is there a way to get it back?
Thank you.

Go to facerepo.com and search it. It's there.
Thank you for your reply.
I did find 2 versions there as indicated, however, I would like the original watch face.
I liked it for its minimalism, whereas the versions on facerepo.com are "improved".
Also, they seem to require additional software to run on my watch, but perhaps I misunderstood.
Again, thank you for your suggestion.
Unfortunately, this watch face has been removed in the Android Wear 2.0 update.
There is no way to enable it, unhide or else.
What you could try is find the source code of Android Wear 1.5 and take the .apk file and sideload it.
So it was an Android watch face, not a Huawei one.
Also something I wasn't able to find out.
Thank you.
Any clue as to where I could find AW1.5?
*bump*
*bump*
Check Line Watch Face, it's almost the same but with a lot of added Android Wear 2.0 functionality.
