Yes, notifications get tinted as well. For third party apps you need to enable dark themes in the respective settings

Thx for the positive comments.
I have to correct myself on the dt2w issue though... As it happens quite often in Telegram chats, I only read half the story. Offain's commits to the kernel enable dt2w on devices with a certain panel. Others built with a different panel won't work. Please test yourself and see.

I have the goodix panel that works but D2TW is only working about half the time other than that the rom is smooth and fluid. Really well done. But I do have an issue and I dont think its with the rom. Everytime I install magisk and install modules the UI starts to lag and apps take too long to open or dont open at all. As soon as i uninstall magisk everything works fine. Any ideas? I've had the same thing happen to me on RR as well.

Gentlemen, give it all, it will be the best rom for Daisy!
Loved the rom. It works smoothly almost no bugs (d2tw works, but the screen on the locked device cannot be turned on) From the add-ons I would like to add a flashlight function on the power button. Thank you)

This ROM was created by Martin Coulon (@martinusbe) one of the lead devs at Ground Zero Roms. This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to finish. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happily intoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.
Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

If you mean controlling the volume with the screen off then, Settings> sound and notifications> volume keys control media volume. Otherwise I don't have any issues with volume. Although I am missing the option to change screen brightness by swiping on the status bar.

Thanks. I tried that but it didn't work for me for some reason. I might re-flash and see if that fixes it.
Super work Gopi! I think this ROM beats all other AOSP ROMs that have been built for 5X. Just tested and found no need to install any other mods, all is built in and works to perfection......even battery is staying stable and I've had a hard time trying to drain it below 80% for the past 3 hours with normal usage (no gaming, only calls, whatsapp and substratum tinkering etc) The only thing I really miss is that a sim card cannot be deactivated....does someone know a work around to that?

Well sim deactivation Is not implemented by cm itself. So we are not going to get it. Until somebody made a patch and move it to github and build a new ROM
not stable , so many force close
google play service + some user apps => has stopped
And because of this , it made me to skip connecting to wifi on startup , because as soon as I connect to internet , for continuing the setup a working google play service was needed !
First I thought the problem is on my side but I installed this rom 2 times !
After changing my rom all the problems disappeared ....

Will therebe any update to this rom?? This one is my favorite. My DD!!

Code:
6/8/17 - Monthly update. June security patches.
5/19/17 - Weekly update. Also added link to beanstalk github. This omission was an error and not intended to pass off someone else's work as my own.
5/13/17 - Weekly update. May be updating less frequently due to time constraints. Maybe monthlies when security updates are pushed.
5/4/17 - Weekly update. May Security Updates.
4/28/17 - Weekly update.
4/21/17 - Weekly update. Forget to mention that performance was actually fixed last week, but if you use this, you probably noticed that already.
4/16/17 - Updated to Android 7.1.2 and April security patches. Audio may also be fixed in this update.
4/14/17 - Weekly update.
4/6/17 - Weekly update.
4/1/17 - Weekly update.
3/23/17 - Weekly update. If you haven't noticed, this rom now includes magisk. This is an alternative to supersu so you don't need to flash any other root options. Go into the magisk app and turn root access on. Turn on magisk hide if you want to be able to install super mario run. nintendo isn't interested in taking money from rooted users it seems.
3/17/17 - Weekly update.
3/8/17 - Early weekly update! Includes rootless substratum and March 5 security updates.
3/4/17 - Weekly update. Thanks to @surdu_petru for his latest work on this device. I like the new swipe on nav bar for one handed mode. Check settings -> Navigation -> Smartbar Settings -> Toggle one handed mode.
2/17/17 - Weekly update.
2/11/17 - Weekly update.
2/4/17 - Weekly update.
1/28/17 - Weekly update.
1/22/17 - Weekly update.
1/15/17 - Brought in line with @surdo_petru's latest updates. GPS now working. This may require a clean install. GPS did not work for me dirty flashing. So if you dirty flash and complain that GPS isn't working, I will not respond. Clean install if it doesn't work.
1/9/17 - Working fingerprint scanner. Thanks to @crpalmer 's work on the Honor 5X.
1/5/17 - Updated with January security patches.

fwiw, i like this rom. it has the pixel navbar and substratum support. the pixel substratum theme and the pixel boot animation will really bling this thing out.....you know, if you want it to look like a pixel. if slim ever supports substratum i'll be back on that as my personal DD in flash though.
This is basically a improved Slim ROM with substratum support? I've never heard of Beanstalk ROMS.
But thanks for compiling this one for us, it's good to see some support for our device!
Props to surdu, without him none of this would be possible

I'm using it right now, flashed it last night. It's pretty cool. It has some nifty features like substratum support (no other theme engine for 7.1.1), but it kinda force closes some apps. I think CM14 does this too. Thank you very much for your continued work!

If a newbie reads your first post, he will not understand what is working and what not on this ROM ...... maybe he doesn't know where to find which are CM14.1 bugs ...
Method 1: Manual editing
Just add or replace these lines on your build.prop:
Code:

The method you mentioned works flawlessly, the only setback is that you're going to have your phone on English language.
Just use any build.prop editor and don't forget to give root access.

Sounds like whatever you used to edit the build prop didn't have root access. In that case changes won't be saved. You can also try the get assistant app on the play store. Twrp backup first, I've had it not work and throw my phone into a boot loop.

I am facing one minor hiccup, the sim settings seemed to be in black, so the dialer is always monochrome. i tried installing google phone from playstore aswell, its the same too...any help on this?
the sim settings for each sim says its teal/indigo color i have selected, but they are shown in monochrome, i rebooted in safe mode, still persists

I second that, really glad I read your comment before flashing it fully to use as daily driver. Would have not noticed it until i would have received call. A great ROM, probably the best one out there, but the phone issues is really something I can't live with, especially when you have 2 sims.

MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application; with this, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Important information:
This thread is for official MoKee 9.0 builds for Xiaomi Mi Note 3. The following will not be supported here:

No such issues but I'm on AEX PIE rom.
@dianlujitao
Hi, thanks for Mokee rom.
Nightly, everyday builds - where can I find what changed?
It will be nice to see in next builds:
More QS Tiles to add: screenshot, screen recording, reboot..,
Screen lock/unlock: face unlock - go to home screen(skip swipe).
Status bar: show clock & date.
KCal support into kernel.
Port of Miui Camera is possible? I think Stock Cam & GCam don't use two lenses.
Problems:
Auto brightness - it doesn't remember my preferences in a dark environment, it makes screen too dark. After screen off & on brightness is always set to minimum, not to my last.
Wireless display(ScreenCast) - doesn't work - force reboot SystemUi. All Pie custom roms have this bug.
Battery life:
10~15% for one hour sot, 2~3% for night(7~8 hours). WiFi, mobile data always ON.

kcal is redundant when we have livedisplay. Any miui property apps will never be included but you can always install on yourself.
Auto brightness issue seems to be an upstream bug, I'll take a deeper look later. EDIT: will be fixed in the next build
Miracast is currently not supported on MoKee, but "All Pie custom roms have this bug" is not true, on lineage 16.0 it works fine.

Thx, it's nice to know about it.
This is the best Pie rom so far, nice job on it Dian, I'm loving it. Here's my report:
I found some useful tools that are missing in this rom such as:
- Physical buttons customizations
- Recents multitasking Pie style (this is just my personal taste, the actual style is really horrible )
- Night display mode (I've read your answer about that but I still can't understand why automatic mode on live display doesn't work at night)
Things to fix:
- Whatsapp video calls (my video lags when I'm making a video call)
- Gpay and banking NFC payment (I know this should be something hard to fix but I wanted to report it anyway)
Thanks again Dian, if you need something to test you can ask me. Keep up this nice rom!
EDIT: Also, it would be nice to have floating notifications according to the theme (dark or white) instead of always white
EDIT N2: LiveDisplay seems working on automatic mode!

clarification
this is a port rom, so it is likely that when you connect the device to the PC or via bluetooth it shows a different model, it is normal since it is a hybrid between the original rom and the port
the rom it on beta state so please report any problem
I'm not a developer, I only have some general knowledge, and experience porting rom, but I don't even have Linux installed
I leave the link of the original rom of the g360h that has almost the same hardware as the tab e, all the recognition for the creators of it

Hello gitanillo87 you have done a wonderful Job by porting the rom. i am using the rom in my Sm-T61 With some minor issue and a Major Bug. i am listing them down it will be great if you put some of your Valuable time to resolve the issue i also request you for add one feature in the rom Below-
Bugs-
1) The Device Freeze some time it need to hard reboot to fix the issue (Rare Scenario)
2) The lock Screen Does not swipe open so you can't unlock the device. In that case i drag down Notification panel then click on setting icon now then Everything Resolved (Really Common Issue)
Feature Request-
1) Please add the double tap to wake screen option in settings menu.
additional information-
It you want to use root without using Magisk Manager then You can use that by Flashing adon Su From Lineage os select 14.1 then arm done.
Thanks And Regards
Thank you very much

Works on SM-T561
Works on SM-T561 .
Works - WIFI/BT/GPS/CAMERA/MIC
Doesn't work - RIL
RIL doesn't work as the rom is intended for SM-T560 which has no sim support and I don't use a sim on this tab anyways so not a problem for me.
WIFI , BT(turn audioFX off otherwise it stutters ) works fine.
GPS Takes a long time to lock for some reason.
UI is buttery smooth compared to ****ty kitkat touch wiz.
Deepsleep seems to work and battery drain also seems normal (even with performance governer )
Speaker, MIC ,Accelerometer works fine.
Overall usable and stable rom. This is the 1st rom i tried on this and it made this tablet usable again for light browsing and for YouTube !
Thank you for porting this rom !

Any way good warking and very thanks
Thanks for the good work !
If there is any possibility of adding sim support to this rom , it will be appreciated as there are a lot of sm-t561 devices out there running 4.4 and this is the best rom I've found so far
Also the original thread has a broken download link ? Guess it's no longer maintained.
Bluetooth Issue
Hi,
Finally a decent rom for this tablet. Thanks a lot for this. I'm using for three days, and everything seems nice, except for the bluetooth. I use the tablet to watch some videos, and when I connect my bluetooth air buds, this happens:
1 . It Connect Perfectly Normal
2. Play the sound for 30 sec or less.
3. Then starts to fail, flicker and suddenly disconnects.
4. Less than 10 sec before, it automatically reconnect.
5. Then te routine repeats forever
Hope U can fix this little problem.
The rom is very fast but I still can't install netflix.....
Fist post updated new versions available
Thank you a lot @gitanillo87
I was struggling to install "google family link for children" on the stock samsung rom [4.4] for my young daughter on this old tablet [SM-T561] , but I couldn't due to the minimum requirement for the app android 5.0
thought about buying a new tablet, but I am glad I found your rom dotOS
btw, i am so impressed by the rom performance in a testing stage and developed recently
thanks again <3
