How can I restore IMEI of my phone. I also don't have any backup of IMEI. Tried a lot of methods but most of them are old and not working. Do we have a chance here?
Edit;
I restored some other imei using qpst and .qcn file but now I it has become a mess to write my own imei by coding in qcn file.
is your problem solved?

When I had this issue, I used clear efs in odin when pit flashing a prerooted stock rom onto it, then restoring the imei from an efs backup, if you dont have an efs backup you are kind of screwed. You can goto a phone repair shop to get them to hard write the IMEI back onto the phone, but depending on where you are from, it may be illegal as it comes under IMEI tampering. There are a variety of ways you can do it yourself but the contents of how to do it is forbidden for discussion in these forums as once again IMEI tampering is illegal, it is only legal in some countries to restore your own IMEI number, but once you know the method, you can do it with any.
Hi, be carefull on wiping efs! There are several tools to restore imei and mostly there is no need to wipe imei first.
Read carefully this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2420881 and try dr.ketans multitool or that tool you did your efs backup.
Multitool can be found in dr.ketans signature.
Greetings
I bought an unlocked samsung captivate glide. At first it worked normally but then the sim card was not recognized any more.
I started studying what the causes of this could be.
Baseband is shown as "unknown" and when i put *#06# IMEI says "null/null".
Now I suppose it is a problem with the files in the EFS folder.
When i open nav_bin file with hex editor it is all blank, all the fields have "ff" and the last ones "00"
I need to restore the EFS folder in order to have at least a generic IMEI, isn't it wright? How can i manage to do this?
I don’t have any backup of the original files; anyway i don’t care having a generic IMEI to begin with.
Any help is appreciated
Any way of restoring baseband and/or IMEI ??

You can try flashing the phone to stock with Odin...
Sometime ago I flashed one version of Lollipop to the newest one, but my phone during the process corrupted the efs file and now sometimes I flash a different version of Marshmallow 30b my efs partition gets corrupted. If someone can explain me how to restore to factory the efs file for not having these problems it will help me a lot.
i have same problem my imei number is null and Baseband version unknown.
I have T-Mobile G3 (d851). I think I have corrupted my EFS partition while flashing a custom ROM. Now I dont have Baseband Ver, IMEI, IMEI SV, or any other number. My Simcard is also not working.
I had backups with EFS, which I tried restoring. Doing that didnt bring IMEI or any information back, nor my simcard is working.
Any help with what to do?
root device
Then enable usb debbuging
Go command promot in adb.
commands are:
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb
You will get LGE Mobile Phone. You will need drivers for it.
Then start adb again. At androidbrick.com imei restore part 2 you have instructions for it.
Erase 0p21, 0p22 and 0p24 (i'm not sure. You have commands on androidbrick.com)
Then start emmc download app from qualcomm. Add COMx port, go software download and restore file from .qcn. you can find and download qcn file on gsm forum. Search for d855 qcn backup. You will net to modify imei with hex. - for example HxD Editor. All imeis in g3 are starting from 08 3A XX XX XX XX XX XX XX.
By the way this will unlock simlock in any phone
Hi,
I write wrong firmware and bricked phone, then i restore old one but i got empty imei number.
I read about MauiMeta and try to recover Imei number, but i don't have proper modem file (file BPLGU.....). I try with file from k430dsy (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-k10/development/lg-k10-k430dsy-original-modem-file-t3481543), but it didn't match. Is there possible to extract it from oryginal KDZ file? Maybe someone have this file.

If you know your original imei nr. you can download your firmware with lg mobile support tool.
What apout lg bridge update error recovery?
Or in case you have your original firmware you should search for mobileuncle tool, there is an imei repair thing for MTK devices.
I mentiuon several times on whatsapp group to make a backup of the ID's partitions before changing firmware.
To restore it now you will need a box now.
Hi,
I recently tried to flash qcn on my OnePlus 7T and it seems that I lost efs data (some sensors aren't working now).
To extract qcn or xqcn file you need to enable usb diagnostic port (in phone app dial *#801# and click the second and fourth buttons).
Doing so will make your phone detectable in Qualcomm softwares.
To extract qcn, use QFIL and click Tools>QCN Backup/Restore. In the field "QCN file path" write the path to the directory you want to save the backup, and also write the name of the file that will be created. Then click Backup QCN.
To extract xqcn, use QPST Software Download, and go to the Backup tab. Click Browse to select the destination for the xqcn backup, and set a name to the backup that will be created. Then click start.
Doing this process is quick and should take approximately 5 minutes if you already have the QPST software.
In case you need it, I have the installer from Qualcomm for QPST 2.7.480 :
http://www.mediafire.com/file/nm0zlac003tn41j/qualcomm_qpst_setup_2.7.480.zip/file
Also you have to know that your IMEI will be visible in these backups, and you should remove them using an hex editor to replace it with some random numbers or zeros before sharing it with me or anyone.
If you need informations on how to find your IMEI in your qcn or xqcn backup using an hex editor, I will explain it in this thread too.
Thank you
Are you saying with these same methods you lost efs data or you did a mistake while flashing ?
Thanks @egekonuk for your reply.
In fact I was trying to flash international rom version on my TMobile Oneplus 7T by editing MSM download tool (using x64dbg which is a software sharing many functionalities with IDA Pro).
I did not managed to flash international but yes, I lost efs in the process.

Just curious why you didn't do the other posted method to go from TMO to international? I did the other method and it worked out just fine. Of course I don't know if that very friendly person is still doing unlocks or not.
Is there a difference between the QCN and XQCN between ROMs?
@amcferrin90 yes I didn't mentioned that but it's because my device was not SIM unlocked by T-Mobile. I bought it on ebay and I was not aware it was not paid off, and seller refused a return.
If I was SIM unlocked, I'd be able to unlock the bootloader and flash the international rom using fastboot.
I did not understand what you meant about qcn, xqcn and roms.
To me, qcn and xqcn are different because xqcn backups are larger than qcn ones.
I think xqcn contains some efs data, but I'm not sure about this.
Would you be ok to make a xqcn backup and share it with me?
Thanks
I also need a backup of QCN.(please)
