What is YOUR battery wear!? - Huawei Mate 20 X Questions & Answers

So accubattery is telling me my battery is at 90% health? 4500MAH instead of the 5,000 its supposed to have. Like do these phones have weak ass batteries ? Ever since the note 7 Samsung had made extraordinary batteries that age 1% in 4 years

The batteries on these phones are fine. Mine frome new said something similar to yours, using the same app, which I'm still using.
I regularly get 8 - 9 hours screen on time. With 34 hours sleep. The battery on the Mate 20X is stellar.
If you're not happy buy a Samsung.
The app calculations may be wrong, and you can set the design capacity yourself. Also I think it establishes over a few charges the capacity.

I don't pay any attention to accubattery as in the past it has been anything but accurate.

Accbattery says 96 percent here. 6 months of pretty heavy use and always fast charge or supercharge.

WOW

I've got the phone for just a month. But it was used since February so its already more than 3 months old.
I try to keep the battery level around 50 to 70%.
I haven't been in a situation where I have to charge it to 100% yet. But I plan to do it only when I need to because I know it will keep the battery healthy for a longer time.
I am using two SIM cards the whole time.
Since I have the phone I haven't conected it to any WiFi network and I have cell data on 100% of the time.
Bluetooth on 80% since I wake up until I go to bed.
Never used power saving mode since the second day I have the phone and realised this is not the Samsung I'm used to work with.
Let me know if you can't see the screenshots

That isnt accurate, i did the test after 6, 7 days after buying the phone (not mate 20x) and it said -95% wear... That is impossible .

6 hours screen on?

Sure sure it's with light use, but just the fact that it can hit 6+ hours screen time after more than a day and a half... sits pretty well with me.
No games, 30% screen brightness, 74 mins of calls, quite a bit of texting & whatsapp, 30 odd mins browsing, wifi 100%, sync on, only 1 widget.
aokp, lean kernel, undervolted, K6, extended battery.
Loving this phone!!!

Nice. I've had my extended battery for 2 days now and I am seriously impresses ed with it. It on my drive home I'm at 65% instead of 30%. I really think the extended battery should of come stock.
I got a similar 6 hour in airplane mode. I was watching a movie while roaming on vacation.
Verizon stock rom. stock battery.
Even stock SGN makes wonders with battery on Wi-Fi But still your stats are truly amazing

No, he didn't? Look closer on first screenshot. There is no sign of charging on those lines below the graph. Those places where graph line goes up are pretty normal and that doesn't mean device war charging.

Nah I didn't charge it at all, as the other guys pointed out. I remember my battery dropping to 4%, I then put down my phone and when I came back later on, it was reading 5%. I thought I was going crazy, but looking at the graph now I see it really did happen. It raised from 4% to 5% and stayed there for a bit before dropping to 4% again.
Anyway, I hope this wasn't a one off... it's not doing as well today with the same usage. We'll see...

Actually, the phone calls don't do much damage... You should be able to talk 11hours on this phone apparently...
I am very jealous. I am lucky to get 3-3.5 of web surfing.
With standard battery, you can get almost 11 hours screen on time (by doing nothing):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1366878&highlight=max+battery
So, that's the limit
My experience with extended battery, 2000 mAH, GSM, I could get 4 and a half screen on time with 61 hours stand by time. For sure, it can go down to 6 hours or more screen on time if I down the standby time. All with stock ROM, stok kernel, un-locked
It is not difficult to achieve that knowing the limit, all depends on how you set it up and how do you use your phone.

PolarCell battery for SGS3

I used one of these for my I9000 and was pleasantly surprised with it. I might just go for this one for my I9300.
It says it's 2400 mAh (which, if it's like the one for the SGS, is probably true).

Did you get it? How it is compared to original one? I used polarcell for SGS and very peased with the performance, but i am curious if in SGS 3 is doing the same . TKS
Gave up on it due to lack of NFC.
I`m using this battery from 2 weeks and its just great !
I have 1 week of usage (wifi from time to time, auto brightness,4 email auto sync and about one movie)

Have the battery from about a month.
I've got to admit it is nothing special ... from my experience it gives just a few more hours stand by time.
I'm using 2G mode / full sync and with the stock battery I got around 4 days of stand by time ... after change of battery it is something like 4 days and 6 hours stand by.
If you play with your phone or talk a lot you won't notice the extra mAh IMHO.

Ok maybe nothing special. I replaced my defective one in my SGS1, it's € 12,30 which is about 3 times cheaper than an original. But this battery is actually 1800 mAh and I get about a day extra standby in normal use and about half a day extra in heavy use. That's special enough for me and still going strong after 8 months.

Well, compared to the original it is only an increase of about 14%.. 2400 mAh instead of 2100 mAh, so you should not expect miracles to happen. It will certainly give you some extra hours, so you'll notice only a difference if you frequently need those few hours more.
I myself have a polarcell for my i9000 (sgs), which offers 20% more than the original and I must say, it really does make a difference!
I personally like most that there is a NFC version besides a version without NFC.
I was wondering about the performance of the NFC antenna, did anyone test this already?

[Q] Battery life for Note 2

This is a question for the new owners of the galaxy note 2. Have you noted the "screen-on" time for battery to go from fully charged to drop dead? One of the biggest problem with the Super AMOLED devices is the (relatively) abysmal battery life when web browsing as they do quite well when playing video. Let's say if you were to primarily browse the web on the device how much screen-on time would you get?
im on my 3rd day now without a charge with heavy use.

Sorry! I don't believe Note 2 can do like that. How about your heavy meaning?
On my original Note1, I got 4 hours max of screen-on time while browsing/facebooking.
Hopefully the note2 will be an improvement over that!
I got my Note 2 today, brand new and box-fresh. At 09:30 this morning I fired it up and it had 55% battery, so I logged into my Google account, did what you do with a new Android smartphone, downloaded a bunch of Apps, really put it under some heavy load, made a few calls, SMS, plenty of multi-tasking etc. At 15:30 it was showing 6% battery life including 2h50m of screen time.
For a fresh battery and heavy use, I think that's pretty good going.
My stats at this moment:

And this one from yesterday:
Brightness 60% and power save mode (both)
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
So about 6 hours of screen on time per full charge. Not bad, actually, its about a 50% improvement over the 4 hours of the note1.
I might still consider investing in an extra battery for those long days...

thats odd as phone arena tried a battery test and found they would get around 9 hours continous video playback at full brightness and they say with half brightness they would come close to razor maxx at 14 hours screen time?
but still ill wait till others have tested it properly
http://www.phonearena.com/reviews/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-II-vs-Galaxy-Note_id3136/page/4
Video playback doesn't consume much battery on AMOLEDs, web browsing is more battery-consuming due to white backgrounds. Also, phone Arena said clearly that the phone was on airplane mode.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
very good battery life... for almost 2 days (I used S3, S2 before and this is a very good phone)
The mains adaptor that comes as standard with the Note II has a 5 Volt 2 Amp output that should be good at charging the battery as many existing power supplies are 1 Amp or less.
If you plan on using a car adaptor, don't buy a cheap low current one - most are only 500mAh or 750mAh.
looks like battery looking good so far from you guys..i say give it a week of cycles. still needs braking in...does the back get really warm when charging? is charge time fast?
After few more cycles the battery life is just CRAZY
And I wasn't even using battery-saver mode !

Typical 9999 day warranty. I'd stay away. We all know these cheap Chinese electronics go bad on day 10,000.
instead of going for the cheapest go for the most vfm.anker external batteries.check em out on amazon.they tout the maximum capacity for a given price range.astro series;10000mah pack i am using currently.it comes with 18 months warranty.you may opt for the smaller ones too.
I have bad experiencing with those cheap battery packs. Usually they have a high capacity, but they still lose charge very quickly.
I had a 5500mAh battery pack for my Galaxy Nexus, which should be enough for charging it 3 times. The first 3 times it worked alright, but afterwards I was lucky to get one charge out of it. Still, one charge is of course always useful.
Can't be any more disappointing then my fluxmob bolt. Spend $60 and it'll charge about 30% of the battery.

Alright, gonna make this review based off one charge.
It arrived yesterday afternoon and I put it on the charger for 8 hours. It has three LEDs on the side that show how much remaining charge the unit has. I discharged my phone to 13% and rebooted then plugged this thing in. The phone thinks it's charging ac so the phone charged to 100% in about an hour and a half. The unit is blinking the final led now. So one full charge is expected.
I'm satisfied and if anyone has any questions let me know.

Got pretty decent results with this. Getting around 100 charge. Also goes on AC mode which is good in getting the charge up quick
Yeah that's what I'm seeing. It's nice because normally about 6 hours into my shift I get down to around 14% then I plug into this bad boy and charge it back up before I head home and start the rest of my day.
Just leave the battery on the charger in my car then take it back into work the next day and start the whole thing over again

You're probably right, most mfgs have stepped up their game to ensure that we can get at least one "typical" days of use out of our phones before the need to recharge arises.
However,it's nice to simply swap out batteries when getting home from work/etc..... & doing the same when the next (work) day starts anew.
I prefer this vs leaving a phone on a charger, keeping that charging-generated heat away from the phone entirely.
i hope it comes with it, i loved my V10, but it ate batteries. Having a spare was practically a necessity

I can't imagine they'd be the same physical size since v10 is 3000 and v20 is 3200.

Thanks for the link KOLIOSIS!
yes I was referring to the spare battery case. I'd rather not buy a new one, if my OLD one, worked okay.
The batteries are different widths, but I could just take the door off.
just being cheap...guess I'll buy the NEW set.
I picked one of these up today, battery life wasn't lasting all day like I hoped but its a feature packed phone with a big a$$ screen and I can't put it down. Hate to have to tether it to a wall for charging plus the couple days of sitting in an airport coming up will make this back up battery well worth it.
I got 9 hours with 4.5 hours of talk time, and 4 hours of screen on time. I am happy with that result. I can see on the days I don't have a lot of phone/conference calls I can see the phone going 16+ hours and possibly 6 hours of SOT.
I will more than likely be buying on of these just for my busy days as a backup.
I'm curios why ebay is the only place to get these batteries.

$59.75 after shipping? No thanks. Wait till lg comes out with it and hope for some deals. So I can buy like a 6 pack. Getting phones with swappable batteries these days is rare. And having a few extra if you plan on keeping more than 1-2 years or selling after a year or two really helps resale value so next person has a couple fresh batteries for their "new" toy. Might buy some more gnote4 batteries while I can. I have 3 new ones left and I just popped this one in about 3 months ago.
Can't wait until these are more readily available and at a much more reasonable price. Will be so nice to go back to the time when I could just pop a new battery in and not have to worry about charging my phone for days at a time.

Even if it lasted all day with heavy usage, I'd still use the user changeable battery pretty often. I swap when I am in the field, on loooong bike rides, on vacation, or after I leave work and just don't want to sit waiting for the thing to charge. I'm so happy LG kept this feature.
I'm really happy people are reporting good battery life though.
Batts are back on Amazon. 59.99 is a bit steep in my opinion, I don't need one that bad yet!!
