No fix,
Go to Gil-Cal and replace it.
Tell them you have no idea what happened
connect a keyboard and hit alt + print screen + e repeatedly, hopefully will tell you update failed and will roll you back. Good luck. Be persistent.

You mentioned clean partition flash and pa gapps but you didn't say you flash the cm11 zip. I assume you did? If not there's no os. Twrp will notify if the os isn't there but not sure about safestrap. I'd assume you need to flash it in fastboot now unless there's a button combo that can be utilized.
I'd take this to the cm11 thread. ggow might be able to assist.

That probably IS a good thing. But if there's no OS installed I'd think it would automatically boot to recovery? I've only owned this phone a short time and before last week never used safestrap. Normally I'd either try to boot recovery with a button combo (haven't needed to on this phone.) Or connect via adb and use the command "adb reboot recovery".
I'd say you have a better chance or at least a quicker response if you head over to ggow's thread. Good luck

same problem here: can't start safe stripe and stuck at Amazon. tried to start the phone pressing volume up and power button, see if you can get into the build-in recovery. if it works, you can wipe the data and then use ADB sideload to flash in official rom (should be a bin file, i tried 4.6.1 version) and bring back your phone .

As mentioned in the title of the thread, my Zenfone 2 is stuck at the Asus logo screen. I tried installing an OTA update with the phone being rooted.
To solve this initial problem, i flashed Temp CWM with the help of my computer. I successfully got to the recovery menu and attempted to wipe all of the phone's data. I don't know if it did or not, because it got stuck on this process for 10 minutes, apparently not doing anything. So I did something that may have completely f****d the phone. I restarted it during the 'wipe'.
So here came the second problem: I cannot access the Fastboot screen anymore, therefore I cannot flash anything, and it still won't open. :crying:
Desperately, I even tried using the Asus Flash Tool to flash its original firmware, while at the logo screen. It won't move.
So, in case someone actually knows how to solve this, or there's someone with the same problem of mine alongside which I can mourn my dead phone, I'll leave this thread here. I also have an additional question: is the warranty valid in this situation?
Thank you.

Try using xFSTK. Search for it on the xda, read the whole thread before proceeding.
Note: If the moorefield device disconnects, press vol down and power at the same time
So my phone has been this way since Nov 2017, there are files that I need access to and would truly appreciate some guidance
I was experiencing issues with the bluetooth on nextbit previously so I installed a new rom after flashing the device. Once the rom also gave issues I decided to revert back to the Nextbit 7 OS and one fine day when the phone restarted it wouldnt go past the "nextbit" splash screen. Tried installing the OS again however the PC wouldnt recognize the phone anymore, switched laptop to a Mac and got the same issue
Any help would be greatly appreciated
It wont let me post a URL link. I have taken www out hopefully it allows to view the video, shows exactly whats wrong

It looks there's something wrong with the system boot, since it's reaching the blue boot-animation and it stays there (probably before loading the adb stuff). Fortunately u did unlock the bootloader and that annoying initial screen may be helpful this time, did u try to reach recovery or fastboot mode from there (pressing some volume key)? It's pretty hard for it to be broken there too and in such a case I would think about some hardware fault. Anyway from the recovery (I hope u have TWRP, if not install it with fastboot) you should be able to do whatever u want, including recovering your files or (re)installing a rom
hello, i was hoping to get some help with my device not being rootable.
i followed these two guides word for word i cant post links because im new here but i followed the naldotech twrp + root s9 guide and the highonandroid s9 root guide.
tried both reinstalled OS with csc and home-csc twice for each one when my phone was stuck in a loop so i can make sure that its back to factory before i try another method. my phone it either gets stuck at samsung logo or just reboots to recovery never goes to samsung logo my oem unlock button always stays off even though i follow the steps and it says under it that bootloader already unlocked and it never goes blue and oem lock: off in download mode, i did not setup my samsung or google accounts in any of those resets that way no settings get synced.
i really need the help i have been trying this for the past month and a half and i have tried everything i could think off and nothing is working.
current software installed: G960FXXU2CRLI_G960FOXM2CRLI_XSG
Model: SM-G960F/DS
OS: 9.0.0
