While in the US I bought an used galaxy s9 on ebay that was supposed to be unlocked. Unfortunately, when I went back to Europe and I tried my sim card I discovered that I need an unlock code.
Is there any hope in using a branded at&t galaxy s9 on an EU carrier?
Is region lock different then network lock?
Would an unlock code from at&t solve my problem or there would still be an additional region lock?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hey Everyone,
I just want ask, if anyone had success in sim unlocking the German version of the Galaxy S4 by T-Mobile with the current methods available, like the "Golden Backup" method, or by paying for an unlock code on "Sim unlocking websites".
Thanks in advance.
anybody ?
I want to buy the tmobile Galaxy Note 3, root it, then region unlock it. Will I be able to use it in China with a local sim? is root/region unlock only possible with model N9005? or should it be the same with the 900T? Thanks.
N900T isn't region locked. Just SP locked. I'm currently using mine in London. UK.
Sent from my SM-N900T

Hi,
I bought a carrier locked T-Mobile Galaxy S9 mobile(SM-G960U) and unlocked it in India.
My Indian carrier SIM(Airtel) now works.
However, my CSC is fixed to USA.
Is it possible to change the CSC to India?

This will sound stupid but do yourself a favor and sell it on ebay while used ones are still fetching good money and then buy an international korean model, no sim lock plus 6gb ram. I almost bought the tmobile one til i found out about the korean version.

First I try to repeat what I understood so far: You have a Note 10+ US version with locked bootloader which should be network unlocked from Sprint.
So you should be able to use a SIM card of a different service provider.
Does the device recognize the SIM card?
What exactly does not work?
Maybe it is just an incompatibility with special bands (LTE/4G, 5G).
