1080p recording file size?

Hey guys I'm preordering a note 2 from Verizon(I know) and have a 32Gb card from my old phone but I'm debating getting a 64Gb. What I want to know is how many Mb's per second I should expect to be eating up while recording 1080p? Also 720p would be handy to know.
Thanks.

Made in China

Questions arise not energy efficient using the battery in the Chinese version of the device Samsung GT-I9192 Galaxy S4 Mini Duos 8GB
1. Is there a difference in the speed and efficiency in sets of memory chips between 8GB vs 16GB version
2. Is there a difference in the sets of memory chips or other components of the China 8GB VS Korea 8GB, there are reasons to believe that they could do worse in China, bad components used to reduce the cost?
3. Which application for Android can I find out what kind of memory I installed?

3gb vs 4gb

I'm thinking of buying the 5s but do we really need 4gb? Will it be slow on 3gb over 2-3 years?
Good question. I personally went with 3 because it was cheaper and I normally only have my browser, facebook, facebook messenger, and another app opened. I tend to close everything else.
i think 3gb is enough.
I think I'll go for the 3gb as the pixel phones will be expensive. Would have gone to 4gb if rumoured specs were real i.e 3495 mah battery and OIS. Very strange that they didn't include OIS with such a good camera.
I'll go for 4gb, cause that one includes touch sensitive screen, ie how hard you press the screen

You can't put OIS on that big sensor my friend.

saw that the nougat firmware has pressure sensitive features hidden under the hood. pressure sensitive screen might be useful in the future
i'm using xiaomi mi5s 4gb model
it has 4gb ram, but system uses 1.7gb, so we can use only 2.3gb
in 3gb, it will 1.3gb
I would recommend 4GB cause when I am running lots of apps on my Mi 5 3gb (has same ram type), it can slow down and run out of ram.

32gig vs 128gig performance differences?

Anyone know anything of a performance difference between the two storage sizes? Normally I wouldn't think there would be any difference at all, but according to Android authority (lol) they seem to think the 32 gig would perform slightly slowly compared to the 128 gig because of the iPhone 7s performance difference between the two sizes.
Also, completely irrelevant to the above question.. do you think using a USB type c thumb drive to store and access vr content and movies will be alright? I preordered a 32gig and I'm expecting delivery this week and don't want to cancel my order for the 128 gig lol
I dont think there would be a visible difference. Sometimes larger storage use more channels so they have a small bandwidth and iops boost.
The answer is no. We're not using cheap components on the Pixel. Apple to maximize profits went with a cheaper 32 GB storage chip with a lower classification. There are good quality class chips for 32 GB versions, Apple just didn't use a good one on their 32 GB chips, but did use a higher class speed for their 128 GB. Pixel has the same class across both.

Doubts about A3 2017 storage space

Hi,
I wanna buy this cellphone but I'm a little worried because reviews say that out of the 16 GB of space, only a little more than 9 are available for the user, which seems a little low to install apps and a few games. How's your experience with this phone's storage?
Cheers!
actualy its more like about 5,5 to me

Really?? That's bad...
Yeah, 16 GB is terrible in 2017 to be honest. If there isn't a 32 GB model then I'd consider jumping to the A5 2017 because I know for sure that has a 32 GB model, it's 5.2 inches instead of the A3's 4.7 inches which is a normal sized phone these days and is easy to handle, it's not that much more expensive than the A3, and it has much better specs including 3 GB of RAM instead of the 2 GB the A3 has. Trust me, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage just isn't good enough for apps in 2017 and it'll start to lag in a few months (even my A5 stutters sometimes).
But if you still end up with an A3, you should know that it does come with a microSD card slot for expandable storage so you can move some of your apps to your SD card (games are usually movable), and if you ever plan to root your phone one day, you can move all your apps to your SD card.

It's actually the size of the phone (along with the price) that makes me wanna go for it (I love mini phones), but it's great to know that I can move apps to the SD card.

I think you should be taking specs into consideration more because the A3 is seriously weak in all departments (not just storage, but camera, performance, etc.). I'd recommend going for the iPhone SE if you really want a smaller phone or the Pixel at 5 inches maybe for a phone that's fantastic in all departments at a size that isn't that much bigger than the A3 (just 0.3 inches larger which you really won't notice after using the phone for a few minutes).
I'm just saying, the A3 won't last you a year and a half without becoming a slow nightmare. If you have the money you should definitely go for the iPhone SE or a Pixel which will last you two or three years before it starts becoming a hassle to deal with as those are actually quality compact phones while the A3 is more of a smaller, lower quality version of an already budget phone (the A5 2017).
Have had A3 2017 for 6 months and have to agree with above - don't bother! Was tempted by small size and price and battery life. But storage is always full despite only a handful of apps on it and photos, apps, videos being all on SD card. Useless.
the phone hardware is awesome for its price tag and it is a small phone that fits into our pockets.
i just got a new a3 2017 phone, which comes with lots of bloatware and there is no way to uninstall (not disable) them easily.
the development community has yet embraced this phone meaning, there is no official lineageos release for this phone and the same goes for twrp ([here is unofficial one][1]) and even the famous odin tool for flashing, supports only windows (guess i will have to use [heimdall][2]).
after playing with the phone for a day, i can tell that i really miss the following features:
- dark theme (with lineageos we could easily replace the builtin theme)
- vibration feedback (do not want to get a special keyboard application like swype to do the trick, as i want it system wide)
- haptic feedback for capacitive buttons (do not want to get a special application like [vibeonkey][3] to do the trick, as i want it system wide)
now that lineageos reached 15.1 maybe some of the guru developers here could provide us with an unofficial (not buggy) release of lineage 15.1.
i do not mind to get lineage 14.1 working, as it is better than the nougat version that was released by samsung.
ps, regarding the storage and in case you missed it, just use an sdcard or whatever this phone supports.

there is no adoption to this phone, although it has a great hardware which fits into my jeans pockets.
if anyonw has another working rom for this device, please state so
oopsy, how can i delete it?

even after rooting the phone, i couldn't delete (not disable or hide) to reclaim space and i tried many free apps that suppose to do that.
are you familiar with any application that truly delete the system application?
this is how i finally deleted the bloatware:
1. root the device i used this twrp.
2. use titanium backup but before that do this
