This is WM6.5 energy 21916, 29022 Sense 2021. And first of all I want to say this was a great job and thank you. I have had it up about 6 weeks now.
Although the CHEdit is pretty broken (I found about 20 ways to crash or totally foul it up), I finally got a stable setup and it was working fine - and decided not to touch it again - that was about 3 weeks ago.
The problem is that a few days ago the overall font on the phone got microscopic.
In the setting option with the five sizes - it is set to max and if you set it smaller I think it gets down to about 3 pixels.
I have to read it with a magnifying glass.
This is on the main screen and all apps. The top bar is so small it is hard to tell it is there and the "menu" bar is only slightly bigger and the point of the stylus will nearly cover the icons!
The is a Rhodium 100 - and like I said, all was normal and I haven't installed a new program in weeks.
So this was a "random" occurrence and I can't get the normal size font back.
Any ideas ??? Obviously rebooted and restarted sense and all the normal stuff that I could think of.
I use my phone on full brightness and I've noticed the screen looks brighter almost different color on the left side than the right side ( visually split phone in half ) easy to.see when using stock keyboard typing in landscape the keys actually look a different color . Could this possibly be normal?? The phone is brand brand new like 3 days old straight from Samsung .
Any1 else seeing this?

Hi everybody,
I've finally gotten my Tab S4 yesterday and am pretty impressed with the build quality and screen.
Unfortunaly I almost immediately spotted two things that drive me crazy and I wasn't able to find a way to resolve them:
1. When using the tablet in landscape mode, the volume rocker acts like it is still in portrait mode: "Left button" for increasing the volume and "right button" for decreasing it. This feels very unnatural and is different to every device I have been using. I checked all the settings but wasn't able to find anything that would fix this behaviour.
2. The Navbar can only be set to a very light color, this is very annoying when using "dark" apps most of the time. E.g. in Plex, the interface is completely black and dark grey and every time you touch the screen you have the almost white navbar popping up and disturbing the peace. Hiding the navbar makes it transparent and it looks fine, but I'd like to keep this look while having it onscreen all the time - is there any way to achieve this?
Also, is there any way to have a dark theme that reskins all the menus to be black or dark grey?
Regards,
pintness
I noticed the problem with the backwards volume buttons, too. I replaced my Nexus 10 with the S4 and the Nexus never had that problem. I hope there is a fix. How could they overlook something so simple/basic on a media-friendly, high-end tablet??!
The original Tab S had the volume rocker work that way. For some reason Samsung changed it.

With substratum you can have a dark navigation bar. I am using Swift Black.
I use button mapper to change the volume buttons order depending on the tablet orientation.

Does anyone else see this on Samsung's One UI? (I have tried going back to the stock theme too). Of course it is no big deal but after coming from the Pixel 2 XL which had clean UI elements throughout (especially on the Android 10 beta) this is upsetting to see.
The buttons are too far to the left. I also think they could be moved down a couple of points so the margins around the notification (top and bottom) are equal. #firstworldproblems
Hi
Today my Redmi Note 5 Pro has been updated to MIUI 11 and few issues showed up. Maybe you have some hints on solving them (phone is not rooted).
1) I have automatic brightness turned on and on MIUI 9 and 10 it was quite smooth and with nice delay. Sometimes too dark but most of the time ok. With 11 update it's extremely jagged, like it has only 5-6 steps and not smooth transition anymore. It's enough to rotate the phone just a bit to get instant brightness drop to a half, very annoying and if that's the new way of working I would call automatic change pointless. Any way to bring back smooth transition?
2) before the update I could swipe lock screen to the right and there I had quick access to flashlight, without unblocking the phone. Currently there is some kind of advertisement of wallpapers for lockscreen I don't care and want. Any way to bring back quick access to flashlight?
Those were two major issues do far. Now two minor ones:
3) scrolling lists is way to "smooth" now and won't stop scrolling when lifting the finger. Have to tap it again to stop scrolling. Looks like a bug, not an improvement.
4) paddings! Lots of wasted space everywhere like a theme for seniors. Dialer for example, before update I could see 5 (if I remember correctly) last calls. Now only 3 fit with lots of margins between them. Similar to settings list. I assume it's some designer vision we can't do anything about it but to embrace (and keep scrolling)
Anyway, thanks in advance for any hints on above issues.
There is no issues on miui 11. I use OTA one 818MB.
