Hey mates,
I got a problem with Google Camera on my LG E975. I got CM11 newest nightly, and trickster MOD (kernel). I tried on vanir, i tried on cm11 normaln kernel, and on this kernel. Doesnt work. Anyone have solution for this?

I just found out that cm11 has bug related to Google camera
and for libs you can get it by downloading gapps zip
and instead of saying thanks you could have pressed the thanks button.

which gapps module you flashed?
same problem man (on cm11 m9 ), try out paranaoid android -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617918
as good as remember, the photosphere should work on gproj version (idk on gee)

Dude, the problem is i dont wanna change CM to PA because i oike it. It has to be other better way!

if that module had Google camera
then the libs must be there in your system.
As I mentioned before its a bug on cm11
it will be fixed in future.

EDIT: Nope, didnt work. CM 11 + Google Camera = dont work,
So yea, people, dont try to install Google Camera on CM11 actually. Maybe in future

I can confirm your problem. Tried several Camera-Versions (Slimkat, google camera from S3 PlayEdition)... No photosphere and nfc for me ?
Maybe we should try to report bugs to CM-Team ?

its working on pac man too.. so now its only second sim to fully worked custom rom..

the front camera is working fine but if i switch to external sdcard it says "please insert sdcard..."
so saving to sdcard is still problem
for me to save the image, the camera stops working.

Btw, on pacrom, bluetooth stopped working, you facing any issue there?
EDIT - Bluetooth not working for me on cm11 too. Before flashing the fix, it works, but after flashing it, camera is working and bluetooth is not.
@pvnsai73 tnx for thefix..its fix camera but this fix broke bluettoth..do you have any idea? and do you have maybe solution for dual sim?

It's most probably because of the changes in the build.prop. It appears to me that this fix replaces the build.prop with the stock rom's build.prop. So we just need to find out the lines which are actually responsible for fixing the crash, and copy those lines into the cm11 build.prop.
Btw, @pvnsai73 , what changes have you exactly made in the camera libs? I have spent many hours trying to find the source of the problem, without success. I also noticed that the mm-camera sometimes fails while clicking a picture which causes the camera to freeze occasionally while clicking a picture.

So I extracted the build.prop from the cm11 zip, copied all its contents, and pasted them in the current build.prop(after flashing the cam fix). And guess what? IT WORKED ?
Now I have both camera and bluetooth working.
Crazy right?

by all , you mean really all? copied to the bottom? can you share your build.prop
I found another problem after using this cam fix... i coulnt find my superuser menu in settings anymore and seems the the root permission/prompt is broken anyone having same issue?

i use arnova v8 and back portrait & hdr+ is working.
just forget about the front. and use stock cam for that.
and btw, there r several threads about this already. you can grab the link there

Try the op7pro gcam +config . It should work . Check YouTube also . There's a channel who installed gcam on the 7T.

I found this and tried, it is working fine but i witnessed few crashes. It might be get it fixed by some settings but i don't know much about it. So if you find it stable by tweaking settings pls let me know.

I also tried several GCam versions but only the video mode is working, the camera and other modes show a black screen. Also, I can take panorama images but can't use the main camera.
