Just flashed this earlier, and so far the difference is tremendous! Thanks!

Does it disable stock cm or google camera? How to uninstall this mod?

@Androidcid
You should add [6045] to your title since all your testing was done on the 5.5 model yes?
i cant install on 6039. after instalation i click next button and got freeze. i just use SnapdragonCamera2.apk from archive but there is no option: shutter speed. too bad
Hello,
This is only for CM Rom?
Thank you
6045Y Stock Rom rooted + xposed
Okay guys, I don't know if there is a way to uninstall it, but I know if you reflash your current Rom, it will revert back.
As far as I see, I have google camera, and lenovo super camera after installing, I don't know if I had stock camera before hand tho.
It worked for me, 6045i, cm12.1 nightly 11/29.
i ask because the package installs a 100 mb data on my system and i dont wanna to backup and restore the phone every time.
Ive flashed this and i dont know which camera to use i get the snapdragon and lenovo camera also in the sample pictures what app did you used? If you can add more instructions thanks but ill stick with open camera till new info comes

The camera module on our device is a Sony IMX214. Same module the OnePlus One has. Which can capture RAW images.

Hmm.
That I didn't know.
Did anyone test RAW capture on stock roms?
Because I tried there too,and it failed.
But then our device can record in 4k too(unless the processor is too weak)

Tried using an app called snap hdr camera...
It is inevitably a great app which can also capture RAW, but it shows them with a purple hue layer on top...
Try it and see...

EU ROM runs great, what are the advantages of running the global version? I don't pay much attention to the Chinese or Dev or Stable or Global so I'm curious.

Hi, this rom have all, google properly integrated (from play store to google pay), and do Safety net pass in Magisk. I suggest Magisk 17.3 and last Magisk Manager 6.1 (attention: doesn't accept to upgrade to Magisk 18.0 at the moment)
Thanks

Google is installed but it isn't properly integrated. Global has it baked in and lets you restore backups from setup.
You have to rely on miui cloud on EU ROM and that takes ages

In TWRP, you must MOUNT System and disable "mount only read system partition"
And be sure to have the 10.1.2 that I have linked, different version will not work right. Is really beautiful with centered clock

Hi, I created this my first thread to know which Magisk modules you use with your Xiaomi mi a2 lite and then later maybe create a list of the best ones.
Mine are:
-HAL3 enabler - Camera2 Api support
-Youtube Vanced - Magisk Repo
-Viper4Android FX
-NotchKiller
- GPU Turbo Boost
Rboard themes, are gboard themes, very cool, i highly recommended.

Other modules ??
I don't use gpu turbo since it didn't change the performance at all, I tried with the 3dmark test and the result was the exact same. I personally like System Accent Theme and Magisk Manager for Recovery Mode (just in case you install a module that makes your device bootloop).

I just heard of it today, it doesnt seem like you can install it from the magisk manager app (at least with the stable channel selected) as it doesnt show that there is an update but ill try to search for some more info in the future since in my opinion it may be early to install the update and magisk 18.1 works perfectly for me

only one that works is AODEnabler, the version that installs it to product overlay, no gestures though, but it links into the phone always on display and all the animation is there between notifications, live wallpaper also works while showing the always on display.
I'm using the following modules:
- Advanced Charging Controller (acc)
- Busybox for Android NDK
- Daily Job Scheduler (djs) *it comes w/ acc*
- Universal GMS Doze
- ViPER4Android FX
- Youtube Vanced
Other note-worthy modules that I've used before:
- Energized Protection
- CloudflareDNS4Magisk
- CloudflareDNS4Magisk IPv6

I didn't encounter that kind of issue.
My Magisk modules
- Busybox
- Systemless TZData
- F-Droid extension
- Debloater (v17 doesn't work with magisk 18)
- Riru/EdXposed
- mm
I use debloater so that services like Google Maps can be made non-system (possible to restrict) and to hide the launcher (Oreo recents).
I have EdXposed for no Google play games (stop annoying nag every time I start a game).
Mm let's me recover from magisk modules that boot loop. Boot into twrp and modules can be disabled.
I think Pix3lify (gives you them beautiful rounded corners and Pixel Blue accent colors) and QuickSwitch (lets you change your default launcher without breaking the recents, install Lawnchair v2 or OnePlus Launcher port by paphonb after that) are the must install modules on this device.

yes. twrp is needed, you can give it a try, but do backup first, remove magisk and all modules. but recommended is clean flash.
I downloaded from mi forum
So far so good everything works like a charm but battery cant last whole day
On 4.4 kernel i can archive 2 day straight without charging, on the same battery unit now

So I've testing ever since and THERE'S HUGE BUG
gyroscope isn't working properly, auto rotate works fine (magnetic sensor)
But when i play games with gyro uses such as PUBG it drift away so hard
Perhaps its caused by broken persist.img ?
Or it caused by the rom itself?
Btw has anyone tried custom kernel in this rom? Core control kinda fu*ked up it closes core 3 even when thermal protection disabled

Hello,
I did check gyroscope, its working fine. You can see attached pic. but i dont pubg. I have used various custom roms. i usuallly get 5.30 to 6.30 hrs SOT in customs roms. but in miui roms, mostly i got 5hrs of SOT. but just of camera and stuff, i am using miui. As portrait mode and camera optimization is best in MIUI.
No custom kernel i have tried yet.

I guess so, maybe its Pubg related problem.
Btw for core problem, i use AKT tweak and it solved
Using battery saving mode from AKT give me futher SOT and insane idle time. Highly recommended
And lastly, it seems a lot of apps not being optimized (doze), can be fix by install hidden miui settings app and manually optimize those apps

hello,
.you need to enable onscreen navigation to show full screen gesture option.
you can manually do it by
root explorer (you need to modify system file)
1. Go to /system/build.prop and add qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

hello only compatible android 10?
I have installed the kernel on Samsung S10e (SM-970F). With the custom kernel the device is booting, but the key combination for Magisk is needed, otherwise I can't get pass the pin combination. Also the screen birghtness is very high when I boot without key combination.
I leave the kernel installed to see if the battery drain overnight is less as before, about 10 - 15% in 8 hours with do not disturb on.
