Good deal for Costco members: Wireless chargers edition - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Accessories

Was in Costco yesterday and picked up a 2 pack of wireless charging pads with power supplies and cables. The wireless pads will do 9v @ 10w, however the included power supplies will do 5/9/12v and will fast charge our handsets when using a cable.
Reviews are mixed, but I'm pleased as a single Sammy adaptive charger likely costs more than the 2 pack of complete wireless chargers.

In store price was cheaper. Think I paid approx $25 Canadian.

Anker® 48W 9.6 Amp 4-Port USB Car Charger with PowerIQ Technology $11.99 @ Amazon

Just wanted to pass this savings along for a Anker 48W 9.6 Amp 4 port USB car charger for $11.99 w/code at Amazon.
I have 3 of the Anker 2 port car charger but found that 2 ports just wasn't enough for my needs with all the electronics that I have. So when this new 4 port car charger came out from Anker, I bought 2 of these at the $14.99 regular price and they are worth every penny.
This car charger came in handy last week on my trip with the family as I had a GPS, 2 cell phones and a tablet plugged into this thing and it charged them without skipping a beat. Also this charger has a rather small footprint given that it has 4 USB ports.
It is one of the most powerful car charger in the market. 48 watts of power (2.4 amps per port or 9.6 amps overall) lets you charge up to four tablets, smartphones or other devices at full speed simultaneously. I recommend this charger to everyone and it would also make a great gift.

I don't work for Anker or have any affiliation with them. Just wanted to pass along this deal for a great car charger.
You don't think 10A out of car socket going to blow your fuse? I would worry a bit having 4x plug connected to a single socket with every charging port loaded.

Someone made a similar comment:
"4 ports and "9.6 Amps" is all well and good, but keep in mind the fuse rating of the car's port. I would say they range 5-10A. "
And here was a reply/explanation:
"That is 9.6A at 5V which is 48W (as also indicated in the product description). Figure 80% conversion efficiency (it is likely better than that) and you are looking at the car port delivering 60W. Worst case scenario is car off and battery voltage at 12V. That would yield a current of 5A. Better case scenario is car is running and at 14V. That would yield a current of 4.3A. Either way, you are far from maxing out the circuit. "
I find it

Do you trust 3rd party chargers?

This is my first foray into Android and I love the Pixel 2. It's great and I want to make sure I treat it well. Do you trust 3rd party wall chargers or do you think there is a risk they are bootleg and could damage the phone? I got one off Amazon and it seems to be ok so far, but who knows - (as a new user I can't post a link to the Amazon listing apparently). It's called "Google Quick Fast Charger Gray- Adapter with TYPE C to C Wire for Pixel/XL/C" and came in a discreet package not from Google.
Thanks
Do you know what brand it is? While Amazon is a more reputable dealer than searching on e-Bay...they too are not immune to junk...chargers that don't offer protection...or could result in electrocution. Did you look at the buyer rating to see that they were verified purchases and not fake reviews? What is the wattage and what version of Quickcharge does it support...ideally you want Qualcomm Quickcharge 3.0 to maximize charge speed on this phone. I try to at least stick with more reputable brands...I bought an Anker charger from Amazon that supports both QuickCharge 3.0 and has spots for my wife's iPhone. No issues and quick charging.

IIRC,Google Pixels support USB Power Delivery standard, not Qualcomm Quick Charge. The charger that comes with the phone is a PD charger and you can tell this by the fact that it uses a type c connection at the charger and at the phone. It's supposed to be a safer, more universal standard for fast charging USB c devices.
PuffDaddy_d is correct...disregard my QC3 recommendation...although I do get pretty fast charging with it using a quality Type-A to Type-C cable (presumably because it is 18W). For optimum charging, recommendation for Pixel and Pixel 2 (including standard and XL) is USB-C PD standard. Disregard my charger recommendation although I would till recommend sticking to reviewing your brand...if the one you bought is the one by Google...then you're fine.
I don't think you can get fast charging on a Pixel phone with any USB A charger. I saw just Charging or Charging Slowly at the bottom of the screen on mine with USB A. I was super frustrated shopping on Amazon for chargers because there's just so many fake ones and I couldn't find a Benson list for good chargers. He had some charger criticisms on his Google+ page, but didn't make an Amazon list and searching on G+ makes my head hurt. I went with Monoprice specifically because they're certified; item 24424 for my car charger ($10) and I'm very happy with it. On the office charger, I haven't needed one, battery life has been good enough to not worry, but Monoprice has those at $17, item 24426 or 21674. None of the Monoprice chargers are bundled with a cable, so expect to add $5+ for one. My old Motorola Turbo QC2 wall charger and the iOrange QC3 car charger do no good for the Pixel 2 so I gave them to my dad. I know it probably looks like I'm shilling for Monoprice, but there's so much trash out there. Amazon really sucks at this. Walmart and Staples just plain don't have a real USB C cable in their stores, though Walmart does have a real Samsung USB A-C cable for the same price you'd pay for a two pack from Anker or Cable Matters on Amazon, and I think that's pretty OK for retail. The Nintendo stuff seems OK if you're in a pinch. Gamestop has a Hori car charger (15W, not Power Delivery, cable attached) for $20 and the Nintendo branded wall charger for $30 (39W, has Power Delivery, cable attached). There aren't always cell phone stores around when you're jammed up.

Power bank for Pixel XL

Hi all,
I'll be travelling a fair bit next year and have been looking for a power bank for my Pixel 3XL. I'll also be carrying a 12.9inch ipad pro (2017) and a wireless headset so looking for a power bank to charge all these devices. So far, I have narrowed it down to the following two.
Aukey brand
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AUKEY-X...=item33f038d3bc:g:Z8cAAOSw9~5bxT6V:rk:22:pf:0
RAVPower
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RAVPowe...3d5659495:m:mynNtkL-bAdL42f2CJQnV-A:rk:2:pf:0
What you guys think? Is there any other that's better?
Thanks!
Ideally you want a power bank that will both charge up via USB C and output on USB C, so pretty equal it looks like, go for the larger capacity if you can since you can get a couple more charges out of it.
Not sure how much juice you're looking for but this one comes in a type c option and the size is nice too. Price is hard to beat too. Been using mine for well over 3 years now.

I have a power bank that doubles as a car battery booster. I use it to keep my phone and tablet charged. I then have a solar charger that keeps the power bank somewhat charged. Still have to refill at weeks end. It's 15,000 or so. I'll have to grab it from the car. Get a solar charger as well. Hands down best purchase I have made. It charges almost anything
I've got this guy, use it for camping and backpacking came with a 45w charger as well. Metal housing, I like it. Only 2 ports but that's alright, have never had a need to charge more than two things at once anyway.

Not to resurrect an old thread but I wanted to also recommend this portable charger. Pricey, but it's great quality and the best I found.
Sorry for the laaaate reply lol. I should have mentioned I'm in Australia.
Jackery power bank is pricey af, comes to about $224 aussie dollars and amazon don't ship it to Australia. More than likely, I'll go for RAVPower or this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cygnett-ChargeUp-Pro-27000-72W-USB-C-Power-Bank-Black-/113341919303
I just ordered this one...will be here tomorrow.

Fast wireless charger

Hi I'm using the Samsung wireless fast charge dock ep-ng930 which I think I got with my Note 8 or 9 and its woefully slow. Are there any quicker ones? I'm using it with an ANKER 18w QC2 USB charger. Is the charger not quick enough and would I be better using one of the Samsung fast charger plugs?
thanks
I ended up buying a Belkin QC4/PD compliant 27w charger (not wireless) namely because Belkin provide a £1500 connected equipment warranty and I didn't trust some of the cheap chinese crap on Amazon.
50% charge in about 30 mins!

Power Banks the upper range mAh Power Banks allowed by the TSA.

I have been looking at/for the upper range mAh Power Banks allowed by the TSA. Afaik the maximum allowed is 27000mAh. Quality, future proofing & pricing are my concerns.
The two top brands I've identified for quality are Anker & RAVPower. I want to keep my pricing to $100 before taxes. I was also influenced by shorter charging times of phones etc. & recharging times of the Power Banks themselves.
The Anker I'm looking at is:
Anker PowerCore+ 19000mAh PD Hybrid Portable Charger and USB-C Hub with Included USB-C 30W PD Wall Charger
$70 Anker A1362 Recharge Time 3.5 Hours
Power Delivery: Deliver full-speed 27W charging to USB-C phones, tablets, laptops, etc.
Hub Mode for Data Sync and Connecting Accessories
And the RAVPower is two separate purchases because a 30W PD Wall Charger is not included:
RAVPower 20000mAh 60W PD 3.0 USB C Power Bank
$50 RAVPower RP-PB201 Recharge Time 3.0 Hours
Power Delivery: Deliver full-speed 60W charging to USB-C phones, tablets, laptops, etc.
& the
RAVPower 61W PD USB C Charger[GaN Tech] Type C Wall Charger
$25 RAVPower RP-PC112 (the 30W was only $3 cheaper)
Alternate suggestions welcomed. I ended up with ~20000mAh solutions because 27000mAh quality solutions were over $100.
I've been using Anker for awhile and it has been a great power bank!
Try the xiaomi power bank 3 pro its 20.000mah
