There are many separate threads reporting issues with Google Play store, apps dependent on Google Play services etc. Others report no issues, but perhaps that is because of some file not yet updating. In order to identify patterns and see if there is a load that is actually problem free, please post your configuration and if its working or not. Cut and past my config and update it to yours. Here is mine:
Phone Model: GSM Unlocked 32Gig
Current OS Version: 4.6.1 - ATT version .32 (UK is .33 and German is .34)
Play Services Version: 7.3.29 (7.0.99 was last version that was loaded when my phone was bug free)
Play Store Version 5.3.6
Issues: 1. Play store won't resolve installed application, just clocks on white screen.
2. Goggle maps no longer can find location
Everything else I use seems fine.
German Locked. 32gig
4.6.1 Telekom.
Play Services : 7.0.99
Play Store : 5.3.6
No issues since first Minute.
No newer Services aviable for me.

Hangouts won't allow you to send messages or do much else.
if you delete Play Services, at least SOME apps will work. The store will work for sure. 7.3 is the problem.
With 7.3 deleted,
Store works
Gmail nope
Hangouts nope
Maps yes
Skype yes (was freezing with 7.3)
Viber yes (was also freezing)
Google should fix 7.3 ASAP...

How did you delete play services? On mine 7.3 has the uninstall and force stop both greyed out. Tried rebooting and it's still greyed out.

Reverting back the Play Services worked for me.
Edit: Never mind. It breaks again when Play Services updates.

What if you got rid of the store and downgraded services to the previous version , and then all Google apps would work and the store can't update play services so maps and youtube and hangouts should work, it's not like you would need the store everyday but your other apps would work fine until we see will Google's next services update sort this out.
get Google services working again (not playstore)
Ok this should fix the play services error and it won't update because playstore won't be active to run an update in the background
Remove the new updated Google play services and playstore .
Install the playstore found in this thread but don't open it https://onedrive.live.com/redir?res...4&authkey=!AIVXLFXAOWDeM0Q&ithint=folder,.apk
Install the Google play services apk from apk mirror - install the 7.0.99 version ending in 036 here http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google...ices-7-0-99-1809214-036-android-apk-download/
Get all your latest Google apps from here and they should run http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rc...443d1ApX-zespOqBA&sig2=1KEJHGFWV0MamxttenpQug
If you haven't installed any Google apps and want them start by following this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-phone/general/fire-phone-how-to-install-google-play-t2977237 it will work until it updates to latest versions and stop again and just follow what I said above , initially open the play store to sign in your Google account
When you follow what's written above do not open the playstore it will automatically update everything to the broken versions ,but by uninstalling the playstore means some other apps like Google keep ,drive and maps wouldn't work,so keep it installed but don't open
Apps working so far maps,Android wear app, youtube, hangouts,G+,keep, drive, translate, docs, opinion rewards.

I found if I uninstalled it I got play services error in some apps and when installed I don't get the error.
Today Same **** for me with 4.6.1 and Services..
What i have done.
-Installed GApps from 3.6.8 Thread.
-Started PlayStore without Internet Network
-Disabled auto Updates.
But After a Phone Reboot / Stopped PlayStore - Services and PlayStore updatet.
-In Settings i remove Google Services
-and installed again Services 7.0.99
Now PlayStore ask me is i want update. I tried to kill PlayStore and Reboot my FP many Times, but atm still working.
But i dont Know how long
I'm not sure why I don't have the option to uninstall Google Play services like everyone else does. Its always greyed out for me, unlike all the other Google services I side loaded. Guess I'm due for a factory reset soon.

I'm having the same problem on my wife's phone. Anyone know a way to remove 7.3 play services without factory reset with greyed out uninstall button? I'm used to being able to go to the data partition and deleting problem (non-system) apks directly on other devices, but it seems this phone doesn't allow browsing the data partition at all. Not sure there's any other way to remove play services. All other's can be removed with uninstall button.

Disable Android Device Manager in Device Administrators. Then you'll be able to uninstall Play Services. (I did it, and it worked).
Got it working with kieran 's method. Hopefully Google fixes this quick... What other phones are having problems?
I am using the release option for the auto-updater in Cyanogenmod, and I updated this morning not noticing that it was updating me to a newer version of Cynaogenmod, from 11 to 12.1. After updating, Google Play Services can no longer log in. How do I fix this?
I have LineageOS 15.1 by CodeElixir and Magisk 16 already installed. When I open the app, shows me the app isn't compatible. I installed from Google Play Store and APK from apkmirror.com. I don't know is because of the ROM, but compatible version of Netflix is 4.16 while the latest is 6.3.
https://help.netflix.com/en/node/57688
Depends on your Rom. And whether Xposed is installed.
Chose "Learn How", you will be directed to netflix official site. Download the apk from the official site. Install , Enjoy.
If you want the newer version, use roms life official Los 14.1, XenondHD Nougat (found on Guides section of Lenovo P2). etc.
Some roms simply aren't compatible. <- Always Check Safetynet. If it's not passed, you have a indicator what is wrong.
I had Google pay working with Android 10 no problems. I just recently upgraded to Android 11 and Google Pay continues to indicate that Phone Doesn't meet security requirements and doesn't allow me to use Google Pay.
I have
Magisk 21004 Installed
Magisk Manager (310) (11) installed
Both are Canary builds.
I have hidden through Magisk :
Google Pay
Google Play Services
Google Play Store
Google Services Framework ( both under google services framework is checked but the check for Framework will uncheck when I leave MagiskHide)
My Banking App
I have the Magisk Module:
Gpay SQLite Fix
Sqlite for Arm
are both installed.
SafetyNet Checks pass no problems in Magisk.
Has anyone been successful in getting Gpay to work while rooted on Android 11?
Follow this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/magisk-google-pay-gms-17-1-22-pie-t3929950

Pretty sure that you confuse FIRMWARE update (february Android security patch) with a PLAYSTORE service/system update. As far as I can understand, the FIRMWARE update caused the wifi issues, NOT the playstore update.

That's what I'm referring to - Play Services. Trouble is Google use so many similar names it can get confusing. In Settings -> About phone -> Android version it's referred to as the 'Google Play system update' but under Settings -> Apps it's 'Google Play Services'. My version is currently 22.06.15, not sure if the 16mb update today changed that or not.
Mine updated today, March 3.

Got Play Services 22.06.18 via Google Play System update earlier (QPR3 Beta 1).
Just checked and noticed I'm on 22.06.56 Play Services now (but still showing as Feb 1st).
Appears to be a 22.09.19 beta version available too, although never sure which of the variants is the right one to install?!...

Anything with Android 12+ should install and work fine (as fine as a Beta can).
You can filter, like this, by clicking "All Variants" and then "Android 12+" on the main app page.
After ten days from the release, I have no March update on my Pixel 6 Pro
