Just bought the watch couple of days ago. When replying messages using the keyboard, prediction and swipe gesture is nowhere to be found.
Is it not available or there's something wrong with my watch?
I see that W7 use "Android Keyboard AOSP" and other like my Ticwatch E has a "Google Keyboard".
I can note also the W7 keyboard is "special" with no letter in the middle of the screen for the hands hole. I think standard Google keyboard is not adapted for the W7 screen.
You need to download the gboard for wearos and sideload it, more info here:

Hi guys, I dont really know what sections this goes under. After searching several forums for a swype cab for the omnia 1 , and registering for some russian site i finally found it! and i would like to share it to make it easier for other omnia owners to find. Here it is.

swype on my touch pro 2
yes its on there and it works. you must know where to go to make it active. heres a tip. after installing it you are like" what? where is it? what does it do" where do i access it?" here it is
go to settings> personal> input> after input, select drop down. choose swype. hit ok. go try to type out a message or email. keyboard looks a little different but it works. you should notice at teh bottom the the keyboard now looks like a hand and a blue letter "S". draw on the screen in a "connect the dots" kind of fashion, the dots being the letters. it is extremely accurate. use the tutorial and you will get better.
ENJOY!!
I've just updated to 4.1.2, and there's no option I can find to change the colour of the calendar. I hate the light background, I'm used to black background with white text, easier to read. Is there anything out there I can use?
edit: sorry, keyboard isn't horrible, I've found the swype keyboard which is what I'm used to But there doesn't seem to be the single word delete function anymore with the click after deleting any words in a sentence? It just deletes the letters in succession so you can't delete complete words with one click.
edit2: well I can do it in 2 steps. swype key highlights word then backspace key deletes it.
Doing a quick google search gave me this:

I suggest doing a google search yourself as there are several different versions of dark gapps available around the internet.
As for your keyboard, perhaps try out TouchPal Keyboard:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cootek.smartinputv5&hl=en
It's a free app, and it has a slide left on the backspace key to delete a word feature.
Cheers.

Will check them out, thanks.
By the way, I just found a post of the exact same problem I'm trying to solve with word deleting.
http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...o-delete-the-entire-word-when-the-delete-butt
The solution given of swiping right to left over the home rows of the keyboard doesn't work. Has anyone else done this with any success? It really seems odd to me that they would have removed the ability to do this.
As far as I know, Swype didn't have a swipe to delete feature...perhaps what the user is talking about is TouchPal? I've never seen another keyboard have this feature, I could be wrong though. Have you tried it out?
I haven't tried touch pal yet but definitely will do.
Tbh, I'm not sure the word deletion function was specific to swype enabled keyboards, it probably did it on non swype enabled too. Although I used swype all the time, I used to just hold the delete button down for a bit longer and it would delete entire words one after the other with a click after each word. So I wasn't swyping to delete but just pressing the delete button, yet sadly that feature seems to have gone now apart from the first and last words. Imo there's a few features in jellybean that are a step backwards from previous android versions.
I got a Logitech Bluetooth Keyboard (K810), English keyboard layout, which I would like to use with my Android smartphone (LG G2). The pairing of the devices works fine, but I can't get it to display German language characters such as ö, ü, ä etc..
Those characters, however, work fine when I use the keyboard with a Windows-PC, after having changed the keyboard-language-settings in the OS.
Is there a way to do the same thing on Android?
In fact I would need to be able to toggle between the two languages (Eng & German), since I prefer to use the English-keyboard-layout when writing in English and the German one when writing in German. That's easy on Windows, just press the Windows-key together with Space, but how to do on Android?
Any idea how that could be accomplished? If toggle is not possible, then I would prefer to permanently change the keyboard input language on my LG G2 to German.
I had a similar problem. Updated my LG G2 to Android 5.0 but no help. I cannot find "Android keyboard" setting. I did find that on one of my tablets, and that one worked.
I installed External Keyboard Helper Demo (then Pro: 2.49 euros). It helped. Even then I had to select
Settings > Language and Input > Default (sp?) > External Keyboard Helper Pro (or Demo)
It is not enough to select EKH elsewhere, I had to be select EKH as the Default too before äö started to work.
How to get that "Android keyboard" option (not just "LG keyboard") without EKH?

Yes, I also got it working after I installed the full version.
However, I don´t fully understand your question from above. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
External keyboard layout without EKH application

If I have EKH keyboard as the default, I have to select LG keyboard as the default (which takes some time) to be able to use the phone without the external keyboard. Therefore, EKH does not seem to be very useful (it is almost worse than not having an external keyboard).
So I wish that when the external keyboard is not connected, the internal (virtual) keyboard should be usable (without that tedious manual selection). How to achieve that?
I believe that my external keyboard should work automatically and without EKH. Some other devices do find and use correctly my keyboard. They have the option "Android keyboard" besides "LG keyboard". I don't see the "Android keyboard" option anywhere.
Have you been able to pair your Logitech-keyboard with your phone using bluetooth?

If yes, you could simply set the normal keyboard at default and activate the Logitech-keyboard only when you need. This can be done easily by first activating the soft-keyboard by clicking into the text-filed. This will open the soft-keyboard. Then pull down the notification-bar and click on "Select keyboard" in order to change to the Logitech keyboard.
It is correct, it works also without External Keyboard Helper.

Thx...I do have that app... was looking for more of a global option for any place I inout. My Samsung Nexus 10 tablet was ASOP rom and it had baked in Google Spell in the rom so it worked everywhere...
Wheree are the default symbols on the keyboard like ! ? This keyboard sucks is there no options? Also it's not predictive typing remembering what I use often like email address when I start typing. This keyboard sucks from the one that came on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. Is there any damn settings in this keyboard at all or do I have to go download one?
Try holding the " , comma" down.
I installed the Google keyboard from the play store as i can change it to black instead of the white Samsung one.
John.
thanks would of never figured out to use comma
