Because you've flashed it probably on Pie firmware, that's why it doesn't work.

I've flashed Lineage 15.1 and found that All sounds works well (Including Ringtones, Call sound etc). But when I started to play music, using whatever player there is no sound. I tried to wipe cash and data and there is no use. Then I tried to flash another ROM (PixelExperience_sagit-8.1.0-20171231-1819-UNOFFICIAL) and still no sound.
I flashed back to official ROM (miui_MI6_7.12.7_c8bdc02340_7.1) and everything works. SO is there any solution to solve this problem in Android 8.1? Is this a common problem?

I flashed it and found that it still refused to work. And it seems that the music is playing back and force. The progress bar is always at 0:01 and it doesn't play. While waiting for about a minute, it starts to go but still no sound.
I flashed the firmware through twrp, and then I wipe the cache and the data. Is there anything wrong? Please help~
Same here. Wiped everything, installed firmware then os then gapps and rebooted. Happy for any possible solution.

Ok, problem solved. I tried to flash the Atomic rom (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-6/development/rom-atomic-os-t3736029). And the firmware from https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-6/development/china-developer-firmware-packages-mi-6-t3716863 .
For the past two days I've been trying to get fingerprint to work on custom roms. I've never experienced any issues while going from stock to Lineage 16, then to Havoc/MSM Extended. The issue started happening when I first installed Lineage 17.1 Now whenever I try to enroll my fingerprint on a custom rom(LOS16/16/Havoc/MSM), it fails with error: "Fingerprint enrollment didn't work. Try again or use a different finger.". When I go back to stock it works again but as soon as I go back to a different rom the error happens and prevents me from using the fingerprint scanner.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and knows how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Hello people,
I am stuck in a problem. I have Xiaomi Redmi 5A (riva). It had stock rom miui 11 oreo 8.1 installed.
I wanted to flash Lineage OS 17.1 on it. So I went according to these instructions: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-unofficial-lineage-os-17-1-10-0-riva.4051339/
However, the recommended twrp there was giving errors. So I flashed official twrp-3.4.0 for riva and proceeded for flashing Lineage OS 17.1. I wiped dalvik, cache, system, vendor, data. I flashed the firmware this, and flashed the rom. Everything went well. Wifi is working, bluetooth, camera are also working. However, I am not getting any network. My sim cards are detected, but the network is zero.
Then now, I flashed Lineage OS 16.0. In 17.1, there was a cross in the signal icon, but now it is just empty. Please help me!!!!
UPDATE: now i have flashed stock rom miui 11 but the network is still not available

Does anyone have issues with bluetooth? When I connect to my car it will reboot my phone in around 15-20 mins. I"m on crDorid now but it also happened on Syberia but everything was fine on stock global 12.5.2. I have already flash back to stock Miui and then reinstall crDorid rom, It still having the same issues. I have also turn off location scan for wifi and bluetooth.
Thanks
I have same issue but im in LineageOS, I tested ArrowOS and it was the same.
Swapped to evox and still having the same issue. I might just go back to stock rom.
I'll have to test it too.. I was bored to pair it to be honest but I'll do it to check it.
Not sure if it helps but I'm using another ROM with I think is not allowed on XDA (helluvaOS), and used a bluetooth headphone for 35min today, without problems.

Thanks for letting me know. I had to go back to stock because my phone was rebooting every 5 mins at some locations. But after I saw shadowam said that the banned OS was working so I gave that a try and its been good so far. Only 1 random reboot after using android auto the whole day.
After updating from stock to the latest crDroid, video is stuttering with no audio in all apps
I've seen this a few times in other posts, and the suggestion is to flash firmware but I've tried that to no avail.
I have:
1. Unlocked my Poco F3 after waiting for a week
2. Screwed up a bit, ending up with no OS, but TWRP
3. Flashed miui_ALIOTHGlobal_V13.0.5.0.SKHMIXM_74dd0fb2e5_12.0
4. Used fastboot to flash TWRP (3.6.0_11-RedmiK40_v3.2_A12-alioth-skkk_1f13aec4)
5. Flashed crDroidAndroid-12.1-20220913-alioth-v8.9
6. Flashed NikGapps-basic-arm64-12-20220908-signed
7. Flashed fw_alioth_miui_ALIOTHEEAGlobal_V13.0.8.0.SKHEUXM_d7894a7a02_12.0
And Video still won't play.
Any ideas what's wrong?
I used to have a similar issue. Video and Audio Stutter over Bluetooth Headphones.
Have you tried Firmware 13.0.4 ? That was recommended for my ROM (Evolution X)
My issue was several months ago and I couldnt find a solution so I switched back to MIUI. Now I'm back and it works magically lol...
I'm also now using Firmware 13.0.5, the latest for Global right now.

Nailed it. Installed 13.0.4 and it's working now. I'd actually also tried 13.0.7 which didn't work, just didn't go back far enough!
Thanks.
