Hi y'all. I'm on a 5X with AOSiP Pie. I have a problem with Facebook Messenger. The incoming messages don't appear on my phone on time. The delay is about a few hours, where on my PC it's instant. I used to have AOSPExtended Pie and it was happening too. It didn't happen on my previous phone which was on RR Oreo. Do I really have to downgrade to Oreo? I'm also using FrancoKernel.

hi, i got a problem with whatsapp.
I dont have any mobile reception (I use wlan, it's stable btw) in my room, so my friends only send messages over facebook or whatsapp.
But I have a huge delay problem, when I get whatsapp messages.
Sometimes I receive them without delay, sometimes with a delay of half an hour or so and sometimes I don't get any messages, until I open What's App and wait some minutes.
Do you know where the problem is?
I re-installed the app several times, cleared the cache etc.
rom installed: bigxie's 4.0.3 Build 9-2
kernel: franco #13
baseband: i9250XXKL1
thx in advance...
no idea ??
Sounds like WhatsApp server issues. They aren't pushing the messages to you immediately, probably some type of queve system.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
Does it happen to other push notifications too? I have a similar problem with ALL push notifications and it is my router. I switch back to 3G and it pushes instantly.
Had lot's of delays with WA push notifications the last couple of days, too.
Install the new version released yesterday, it seems to have fixed things.
Okay thx!!!
What'sApp is known for having server issues. It just means a delay until it catches up. A pain yes, but it's still one of the better apps out there. It's not your phone.
They deliver 1.000.000.000+ messages per day, about 11.000 per second.
This problem only exists for WeChat, my WhatsApp is fine. I have auto-startup enabled for both and even when I launch WeChat app I do not receive messages immediately, only after a few mins I see messages incoming but it could be from a day before or a few hours before. I am on the latest firmware V2.19.40.22 and have factory reseted my phone, also tried re-installing WeChat and cleared cache, same problem occurs. Anyone else having this problem?
Known issue and it has been reported many times in the Zentalk forum (Official zenfone forum) without any acknowledgement. We're unlucky to have picked up an Asus phone. It's my first and my last. Best thing is to wait until enough people report it and perhaps Asus will address it.
Hi everyone.
Many times I don't get WhatsApp messages until I open the app. It's happening to Telegram and Messenger too.
I checked apps configurations and hasn't any restriction

looks like a global problem atm.
Same for me on my m20p, crosshatch and taimen, also girlfriends note8 has the same problem.
TG works most time, but WhatsApp is pita from time to time.
Perhaps it's an issue with FCM, think it starts last month.
Hi,
I have an issue with push delay, when I have new emails on BlueMail.
Notifications about it could take 1 or 2 hours to come...
When I open BlueMail, new messages are not received yet, and I can see that last update is a few hours before.
Of course, I've disabled battery optimisation for this app, and I've tried to keep the app opened (lock it).
Everything worked well on my OnePlus 8 pro.
What to do?
I've got the same issue on Lineage OS running Android 11 on Google Pixel 3. Turned off battery optimizations and even added the app to the whitelist via su dumpsys deviceidle whitelist +me.bluemail.mail in terminal. It shows up on the whitelist but does the same behavior you're describing here. Wonder if this is an app thing since we are on different phones and presumably Android versions.
Did you ever resolve this? What was your fix?
Sorry for necro but no other responses lol
Little late response... But looking at bluemail reviews it's been out issue for a while. It's app not phone issue
Hi, my first post here. Thanks QXDA forums. I have lineageOS 18.1 successfully installed on a Samsung S7 Edge (yes I know the S7 isn't officially supported.) I originally had Gapps installed but ditched that, as I wanted as little google on my phone as possible. So I now have f-droid apps added as well as Signal. The problem is, that I am not getting any real, lasting notifications of new text or email messages. Unless I open Signal or f-droid's K9 Mail to check for any new messages, notifications are spotty at best and not persistent. What I would really like to have is a flashing LED to let me know, to check my new messages. I seem to have eliminated all possible settings as far as I can tell in lineageOS, Signal and K9 Mail. Quite puzzled at present. If no changes are possible to rectify the problem, is there an app, which might accomplish the notification task? Many thanks.
