Hi, I have a problem since a few days ago.
I have a J2 prime that had certain system problems so I decided to flash it with Odin.
The process ended correctly but never started the phone (stuck in erasing...)
I did many operations:
I did a wipe data in recovery (and stuck in rebooting...), I have marked nand erase all in odin, I have even downloaded another firmware of the same model, I flashed with another Odin and the problem continues.
The phone was connected to the charger all night (7+ hours) While the screen appeared "erasing ..."

If I remove the battery I get the message "no Command" when turning on the device again
I need help, please.
Sorry for my bad english

Some small details needed I guess. These are mandatory for flashing w/ Odin anyway:
0. Firmware is downloaded from known site like SamMobile or Updato.
1. Odin version is 3.12.3
2. Firmware matches your model name (which i guess you have)
3. Flash all 4 (BL/AP/CP/CSC)
It seems like your phone stuck in erasing tho. Maybe try replace the CSC with the HOME_CSC included in zip file.
( The HOME_ one is basically the same with normal, except it skips wiping data)
Looking forward for the reply~!

Hi everybody, i have one GT-N5110 with issue. The issue is: ROM is damage, EFS is damage (i think) and cache partition can't be read by recovery, and when device is switch on the screen (backlight) is blinking with freq 10 - 15 Hz
So, some history:
Three days a go, one client give this tablet to me, with the issue of firmware. He told me that in past, he updated the firmware (ODIN) to N5110XXDNF1_N5110XEODNF1_HOME.tar.md5 and the firmware was damage. He does not have root and custom recovery.
When i first turn on a device, it was a note, that device is corrupted (or some thing like that) please use Kies to recovery. Kies doe's not wanna recover the device without recovery key, he even тще see him.
Well i trued to make a custom recovery (CWM) and device booted to recovery with issue of "can't mount cache/ recovery/ log. True install the firmware from recovery, wont start, going to reset.
What should i do? Only switch the motherboard?

Wow. There could be a bunch going on here. Can you get into download mode and if so, have you tried to Odin a stock package onto the tablet? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2773712
If you already tried this, what does it do?

Can you get into recovery mode? Or just download mode?
Do you have KIES installed?
Try keep Odin open and change USB ports, remount the PDA & flash.

i have flashed the 2 lastest 5.1.1 firmwares availables in sammobile G925TTMB2DOH6 and G925TUVU2COF8, but i get stuck on the samsung gs6 edge logo without red text and i have to wait the battery to fully drain to boot to stock recovery or download mode again, im downloading G925TUVU2COF6 is the earlier 5.1.1 firmware , i guess phone wont let me flas 5.0.2 ,, any sugestions???:crying:
Try and redownload the latest version. Once the bootloader has been upgraded you can not downgrade it. Also do a full master reset if you haven't then flash.

Same situation, do you have a link to the sboot.tar file? It really works? Because ive done everything possible.
TLDR; Soft bricked phone trying to install TWRP, flashed stock rom on it, now phone says its 32 GB when its really 256 GB.
Hi all,
So I got a brand new Note 10+ a couple weeks ago and tried to flash TWRP onto it thinking it was easy like it used to be. Boy i was wrong. Stupid iphone user mistake.
So, I googled how to fix the soft brick. Downloaded the most recent firmware and flashed it via ODIN.
I flashed the following
BL
AP
CP
CSC (not HOME_CSC)
I setup my phone and personalised it like i had before and just now got a notification saying my phone is almost out of storage.
So i click the notification naturally being like what the hell already?
And long and behold my phone is now 32 GB instead of 256 GB.
I googled ways to fix this but all the ways say to flash the regular CSC which i already did!
Can anyone help me?
I've provided screenshots of the DF command and the storage settings.

This could happen if you have flashed standalone AP file without CSC file same time.
Stock AP file must be flash with BL CP and Home_CSC at same time unless it may shrink your data.
Thank you for your response, however i flashed the AP file at the same time as everything else.
If i was to flash the AP file including everything else but change out the CSC file for the CSC_HOME will i keep my data on my phone because it was a pain to set it all back up.
No...
Is there a way to keep my data or no?

If you use HOME_CSC_* it will not wipe data If you use CSC_* then it will wipe data. But looking to your device issue, probably you need to wipe it.
Hi ,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab-S4 with 100% stock ROM( Developer mode-Not enabled, OEM Unlock=OFF, all default with no tampering ) ,Android 10 . Out of the blue, whole system hung up , I just did a Power Button Hold trying to recover the system after a long while of wait.
**** stuck me, the next moment, the Device is boot looping non-stop. Too long never play with Android Rooting . i could only roughly remembers some steps .
I have tried the following .
1 . After getting into recovery , clear cache, factor reset , these 2 do not help .
Observation .. There are long lines of Dump screen text pointing to
-[Libfs_mgr] - Failed to mount /cache
failed to open /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/cache
cant mount /cache/recovery /last_extra_history
I am suspecting the cache partition is corrupted
2 Odin Reflash of Stock ROM . Using Frija to download SM-T380 firmware to flash .
Reference : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/sm-t830-bootloop-after-flashing-stock-firmware.4084111/
a) Try default option . Flash BL, AP, CSC -Home /CSC common . All still get back to same problem
b) Try Option of Re-partition /Erase NAND with extracted PIT file from the downloaded firmware.
Since suspected corruption of Partition

Flashing went well, However these is a hiccup of FPR Enabled , PIT Download Ignore was displayed on the Tab-S4 Download Mode screen.
I suspect this is preventing the Nand Erase and Re-Partition activities to actually taking place.
The tab S4 is still stuck with same issue of Boot Looping .
Can Any kind soul to advise.
I want to recover the device, as much as possible, I will not want to root it but if going this path can help to at least boot the device back to normal state, I would be greatly appreciated for the advice and help.
Anyway to do OEM Unlocking and FRP disabling when the device now is stuck in bootloop.
It is a dilemma , in the past , default i will at least turn on developer mode and OEM Unlock to prepare for some flashing , since i have no use of flashing , default nothing open and now I am stuck.
thanks
