How this guy got on his one plus 5T pixel folders and search bar on oneplus launcher?

I noticed the fact that this has the shelf form one plus which I like a lot that's why I'm interested to have this because has the look of a pixel phone combined with that shelf

He use two different launchers at the same video, OnePlus Launcher, and Pixel Launcher (or Nova with Pixel Style)

So does anyone know of any other launcher with shelf?

Grid

Hi all I would like to increase my grid pattern to something like 6 by 6. Is there a way of.doing this as I want to use the stock launcher.

If you're rooted, you can try one of the versions of my modded pixel launcher here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2-xl/themes/mod-pixel-2-xl-launcher-mods-8-1-0-dp1-t3701939
There are no six-by-six versions, but I do provide instructions on how to do that to yourself, if you wanted to. I would also be willing to make you one customized to your liking.
The only non-root option I'm a aware of is a launcher called Lawnchair, which is very much like the stock launcher, except it's got some options. I'm not sure if changing the grid size is one of them though, you'd have to research in the Lawnchair thread to find out. Lawnchair can be installed even if you have the original stock launcher installed.
Other than that, if you're not rooted, you would have to go the custom launcher route to adjust the grid.

Agreed. Why go through the trouble of a rooted method when Nova Launcher can do it and you can still have the stock launcher feel.

Would Nova launcher cause battery drain compared to stock launcher. Would I end up using more juice running nova launcher

Not that I've ever noticed. Been using Nova for 5 years now without issues :good:

Seems to only uses battery when you're on the homescreen. This screenshot of from nearly 16 hours off the charger. I think that goes for any launcher. I would be really suspicious of a launcher if it drained while in the background.

Pixel Launcher Home App on Nokia 6 2018

Ive installed the pixel launcher but it keeps crashing. Is it not compatible with the android one OS? Do i have to remove the launcher3 app to make it work? running 8.1 on stock

Which Pixel Launcher? I use v6 of this modded Pixel Launcher, and I have no issue.

am using this one as well and no issues to date.

You have to get their companion app to get the google now feed working. Its pretty lightweight and you can use custom icon packs.

Smooth Pixel Launcher?
Hi all,
I've noticed the stock launcher with Nokia 6.1 (2018) has gotten a little jumpy even since just getting the phone in June. I assume because of software updates. Looking to use a Pixel Launcher that runs smoothly on this phone. Any advice?

Hey there,
I just got my new pixel 2 xl and i was wondering if there is any way of locking the phone via double taping the home screen . i know its present on nova launcher but i really like the pixel 2 launcher and i dont want to install xposed . Any modded pixel launchers which provide the same functionality?
Btw i am rooted with magisk on android P.

If you're rooted you may want to try out edge sense plus and add a shortcut for turning off the phone.

change icons in stock pixel launcher

There is no option in default pixel launcher. But there are many other pixel launchers like Customized Pixel Launcher (CPL) available on Playstore. One of the best pixel based launcher with plethora of customzation options.
