After dirty installion, fingerprint does not work since sensor touch is useless.
After clean installion, fingerprint setting disappeared.
Tried clean installion again but this time it's same as dirty installion.

can you expect future regular updates or is the ROM just a flash in the pan like the ports of Resurrection Remix, crDroid etc.?

My Sensor is death since the middle of the 14.1 ROMs to current 16
think it is a general problem, all ROMs come in principle from the same source code
With a very old 14.1 Backup it is working
had such a problem with another device, there was switched to another sensor during the production. Old ones continued to work, new ones needed to be adapted. It also took forever until one was believed and one really got to the bottom of the error. Maybe there was also a hardware change here and one continues to work only with the old source code.

Battery performance was good...but the camera app was missing, fingerprint was missing...the botton leds are not lighting up...i felt the performance was good...smooth ui and animations.
There was no update option within the settings.
Will there be any future regular updates for this rom?pls give a reply..many developers are droping there updates after releasing some updates for nubia z17 mini.
Hoping for future updates.

fixed fingerprint bug!!!

Fingerprint now working fine...thank you for the update.
Navigation buttons lights was working first..now it's not.
Volte not working.
Double tap screen off not working.
Hoping to work around these too...waiting for the updates...
All other seem to be working good now..will post if I found out any new bugs

locked after flashing device, requires password when booting. when I enter PW message "Password correct but data is broken"
When I try to reset, there is recovery error message (memory does not exist out)

Noticed a bug, media audio outputs not only to bottom speaker, but to the earpiece speaker too. Wich makes media content annoying at times.

You use Orangefox as recovery ? From which rom are you coming ? Which steps ? You can try the file attached via recovery is you think you did everything fine.

On miui it's like that, to simulate stereo sound. I'll see with my tester this week end, i'm actually very sick and can't stay on screen.

FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
*Flashing for the first time, from realme ui:
* It won't boot in RUI firmware. So if you are on RUI than downgrade it to A16 firmware First.
* To Downgrade , flash A16 ozip TWICE from latest TWRP or OFX.
* Format data & Reboot.
* After first boot , Flash latest TWRP again in fastboot.
* Flash vbmeta zip inside TWRP.
* Wipe vendor, system, data, cache and dalvik cache first.
* Flash Rom zip.
* Flash Gapps(Optional)
* Reboot.
* If it boots into twrp, Do format data by typing yes in wipe section.
* If it boots into fastboot, flash dtbo.img in twrp as dtbo partition.
* After first boot, flash Magisk (Optional)
* Always flash magisk after first boot. Don't flash it with gapps.
*Clean flash:
*Boot into recovery
*Go to wipe section and wipe first five options
*Go to install section and flash ROM
*Again boot into recovery and flash gapps
*After first boot, flash magisk if you wanna root your device.
*Dirty flash:
*Boot into recovery
*Flash the new update
*Wipe cache and dalvik after flashing rom (optional)
*Reboot to system

Syberia Project (aka Syberia OS) is a custom ROM for Redmi Note 8 that implements various features. - Wipe - Advanced Wipe - System, Vendor, Data, Cache, Dalvik/ART cache - Wipe it
- Installation - Flash ROM archive (dont flash gapps!)
- Installation - Flash latest Magisk v25.x archive (optional)
- Installation - Flash TWRP 3.7.x archive by erwinabs
- Wipe - Format data - Write "yes" - Format it ( this is needed if the system fails to boot ! )
- Reboot - Reboot to system
