Hi everybody!
I've just bought an Opel Corsa 120th anniversary with intellilink R4.0... I saw R3 had the ability to install external app via developer mode while R4 remove that possibility. Do you know how I can try to install them? As I can see the system is made by LG (but I don't know if that could be help).
I've a 2nd question: I saw it could be possible to enable 3rd menu on onboard pc but I don't know how to do it (I'm newbie on android auto world). I saw I need to connect my OBD2 with my PC and use a program but before doing anything I prefer to ask... Please help me because I think see the consumptions of my auto could help me a lot (I've GPL version).
Any help will be appreciated

Hi, i have bought too an Opel Corsa E 2018 GPL (not the 120th anniversary but the Black Edition).
In response to you're 1st question:
Intellilink R4.0 is not enable to install external app, but, you can apply a lot of modification trought Android Auto, you can install external application and run it directly into you're Intellilink.
For example, i enable the screen mirroring function with the touch control, so i can access directly to the phone trought the Intellilink.
In response to you're 2nd question:
Yes, is possible to enable the 3rd menu and more thing, like outside temperature, voltage battery ecc..., with the OpCom interface.
I didn't try yet, but thuesday, i will bought the OpCom interface, that could enable all option on the onboard pc and more (like welcome lights or follow me home function).
When i try it, i will give you a better feedback.

Yes, you need to root you're phone and follow a guide/video online to install the "AA Mirror" app.

Purtroppo l'OpCom versione 2016 non funziona al 100% su Opel Corsa E.
Il software riconosce parzialmente la macchina (riconosce che è una Corsa E ma datata al 1998) e non ha le funzioni del CDB, dell'intellilink e del comfort del veicolo (es. chiusura da chiave dei finestrini, welcome lights ecc...) quindi è totalmente inutile per i nostri scopi.
Il software funziona solo con gli OpCom clone HQ e con firmware 1.70.

Hi, don't worry, I've read about that some days ago. Now we need another hardware (I don't remember the name in that moment) but it cost a lot (I think more than 700€), that's a sad news.

There is another solution, the OpelScannerCanPro, is a software that can only activate or deactivate the hidden function. It cost 250$ and need his interface (similar to OpCom).
I hear from the local store where i bought the OpCom 2016, that soon will released the OpCom 2018. Probably our car will be supported and the software 2018 maybe will have the function to unlock the hidden function.
When it will released, i will update the thread.

Le funzionalità del CDB possono essere attivate tramite interfaccia Opelscannercan (Costa 200€).
Forse possono anche essere attivate nella nuova versione dell' OpCom HQ Clone (software 170823c) (Funzioni BCM comprese), sto cercando qualcuno che lo abbia già e possa testare prima di buttare i miei soldi [emoji28]

My dealer extended the menu for free... Of course is better but the dealer can't enable some interesting option, like welcome light

Ciao, per il CDB ti consiglio di sentire la tua officina e chiedergli il menù esteso. A me hanno eseguito il processo gratuitamente.
Nel caso in cui vogliamo dei soldi, tanto vale aspettare l'uscita del nuovo OpCom ed abilitare le opzioni autonomamente

It's possible only from your dealer because there isn't any method to "unlock" device and there isn't online any update

Domanda.. quale OS usa? quanta mem e' free.. ecc. possibile vedere delle screenshots? Uso Bepes e la batteria e' na bomba.. dura tanto molto di piu' di altre rom usate in passato.
Which OS does this use.. how much mem is in used or how much free mem is available. Is there a way to get some screenshots? I use Bepe's and the battery is way longer than any other rom I have used. He has done a very good job. I look forward to see your rom.

Before giving a comment I have intentional to try it over a long time span, said that the found one of the pointer borders on the perfection (of loads with the battery up is exceptional, endured had not noticed it), truly a lot a lot much good one compliments. Excused for the translation.

e' proprio un problema di battery status che si verifica raramente...per risolvere blocca e sblocca il palmare manualmente tramite il plugin classico di oggi...dopo vedrai che batt status rifunzionera...i e' successo 3 volte e ho sempre risolto cosi

solo una cosa, ma anche a te appena inizi un nuovo messaggio, o rispondi a uno che ti è stato inviato il testo non ti "sta dietro" ed è lentissimo? cioè se io subito scrivo veloce ha un lag pauroso...dopo una 10 di secondi poi si riprende e va normale...

No a me non fa cosi, tu magari hai qualche progrmma installato che non e tanto compatibile e lo ralenta, ti consiglio un hardreset!

ita: capita anche a me quando ho tanti messaggi per uno stesso contatto. più o meno oltre i 200/250. risolvevo spostandoli con il servizio myphone di MS, ma ora lo chiudono...

1: install PdaNet on our PC and follow the instructions that provides the program .. Ps: when is the only software able to install the drivers of our Polaris .. what did you have the drivers to begin with.
2: extract the folder on the desktop PC and connect your phone to pc via usb with the usb debugging option.
3: we open the extracted folder on your desktop and run the file "Runme", a window will open and from there follow the instructions carefully ..
If you did everything as I explained above on the phone you will see the window that requires a backup, press ok ... do not disconnect usb, at the end of the backup will ask you to restart your phone, reboot .. do not disconnect usb ..
after restarting the program will complete the operation and will ask you to press ok to exit the program .. and here we find on the menu superuser...: D: D
in the future I will work for ClockworkMod and room

It worked perfectly, I was looking for weeks for rooting my phone, I've also installed avast anti-theft wich requires root permissions and it didn't encounter any problems.

Ciao Pollo94,guarda la guida al momento e l'unica testata e funzionante e soprattutto non modifica niente,infatti se avessi problemi ti basta soltanto ripristinare il backup e tutto torna per com'era

Scusate ma ho dei problemi, faccio tutto come da istruzioni, quando apro il programma "runme" scelgo l'opzione 3, però il dispositivo non mi chiede l'aggiornamento pur essendo collegato via usb ecc...quale potrebbe essere il problema? Ho eseguito "runme" con i diritti di amministratore, dopo aver premuto 3 saltano fuori un mondo di scritte con "impossibile trovare il percorso specificato"

English: Actually during your absence I took the liberty to translate your guide and make it more detailed on another android italian site, moreover I modified the bat file to make it work directly for polaris and without the need of typing nothing XD

Does anybody know is it possible to enable some sort of face unlcok on Galaxy J5 (2015).
I tried Google solution (Trusted Face) but it keeps crashing ?

It will crash, whatever version is installed. But hey keep in mind that is restricted by Samsung itself. I have an S7, not rooted, never modified but the Trusted face crashes every time and whatever is the version of the app.

Sorry for my bad English but I am Italian... It is appear but it doesn't work when I tap on it. I have got stock touchwiz home (7.1.1)

:laugh: anche io sono italiano... Comunque non so perché anche io ho stock 7.1.1 del j510FN ... semmai prova ad andare nella Recovery e fare clear cache/ dalvick cache... nel caso non funzionasse nemmeno quello, non saprei davvero che dirti ...

Ho provato a fare il wipe cache dalla recovery stock del telefono ma continua a crashare... Per caso servono i permessi root?

Scusa come hai fatto a flasharlo con la recovery originale Dovresti almeno avere la TWRP... Credo allora che sia quello il problema... Credo eh
P.s. devi fare il sole il te che della cache anche quello della dalvik cache

Comunque non servono i permessi di root ... o almeno io non ce li ho E mi funziona perfettamente

Aaah ok, io l'avevo installato come un normale apk... Quindi se mi dici che hai usato twrp, credo proprio che sia li il problema, comunque grazie per il consiglio
realme gt master edition dopo sblocco bootloader e riblocco si accende e si rispegne da solo aiuto

Try to push on all the buttons until the phone is turn off ,and push on the the two volume buttons and connect it the to the pc . Watch this video

Wait until the battery run out and push on the two volume buttons together and connect it to the PC and look on drivers manager and see if there is a change
