It might be to late now as you have already been charging the phone and turning it on. But if this ever happens leave the phone off until you have opened the phone up and checked to make sure there is no water inside.
Rice wont do anything and is a ****ty advice that will only give the water more time to do damage. Best thing to do is to get rid of the water inside as quick as possible!
If you do decide to open it up make sure to be careful with the battery as it can catch on fire(small explosion) if you accidentally damage it. So either watch some videos if you never done something like this before or get someone with experience to help you. Good luck.

Hi,
I've been using HTC Desire for 6 months and I got this problem lately.
First, please have a look at the battery icon. What does it mean?

Second, during the day use, my phone just freeze for no reason. And when it's freeze, the screen is totally off and the notification light flash 1 green, 2 orange continuously. Then I have to take out the battery, plug it in and turn it on to use. It just happens so randomly.
Third, it happened just now. I played game till the battery gone and left it on the table and went to sleep. But when I woke up, plugin the USB charger (I forgot the main charge at work) and it didnt charge. I turned the phone on and saw the battery icon was like what appears on the screenshot above. I turn it off and on again, the battery became full magically
So what caused all those is the battery? And sometimes when I use the phone for a long time when the battery get hot, it's freeze like I described as well.
Anyone got in the same case as mine?
No one knows?
guys i just want to express my expirience with mi6 and his water splash ressistant. it is FAKE. few hours from now i exposed it to little water splash, dry it with paper and after a 30 seconds my screen start to flickering. flashing, and phone rebooting every 30 seconds.. i suspect in water and home button but not was sure until i put off rear glass panel and see this.. sealing is all over the panel except where buttons are.. there phone is not sealed, and if you put it in water, water will go inside your phone like did i mine. how stupid of you xiiaomi..
i cant belive this.. this is serious problem in construction design.. MI6 is not water splash resistant at all.. avoid all water contacts..
hopefully after i unpluged battery, take compressed air for electronics in can and blow out water from that area and now phone works..
pictures..

Never near water again..

The screen has cracked for a very long time but still functional. Just now, it fell once again and then a white-ish thin line appeared at the very right corner, but I ignored it as it does not disturbed me. Few hours later, I think i put a little pressure into this pressure (But I'm pretty sure i am not, because my the only thing i did was to put it inside of my jeans pocket) and poof! Half of the screen cannot be seen clearly (refer picture). But still could function as in I could still use the touch screen mode at the affected area. Could this lcd screen problem be saved without replacing the lcd with a new one? Replacing it is my last resort if I could save it DIY. Help me, thanks!
Yeah, sure, via a software update. That'll also give you wireless charging, but only if you charge the phone inside the microwave.
You've cracked the screen! What sort of DIY fix you assume can exist, besides replacing it?
tired of cheap ebay screens, what replacement screen do yall recommend?
OnePlus RMA. It isn't overly expensive.
From memory, it was around £90 for me.
Hi,
I have a problem with my G5S recently. I had already sent it to a service center because of this, but Moto's Partner for repairs in Germany is horribly incompetent, so it came back with the same issues still occuring.
I think the whole thing began with a restart by holding power for 10 seconds some weeks ago. Later that day I noticed the infrared sensor on the phone's back to glow permanently red, much brighter than normal. It is the one left to the camera. This is even the case if I power down the phone, only with 0 battery the sensor goes off until I recharge.
With this sensor bug comes a massive battery drain, the phone never seems to go into deep sleep mode, the battery stats in the settings show a ongoing bar under active time. I made some screenshots of GSam Battery Monitor, maybe someone can tell me how to stop the process which holds the device active. The phone has no root or any modification by the way.
Thanks!

I purchased it 3 years ago from samsung shop (Italy) for 200€.
In the last few months I am having an issue that doesn't allow me to charge it at all.
When I try to charge the smartwatch says that it is too hot (sometimes it says that it is too cold) and to cool it down (or warm it up).
I tried also to use another charger and to put it in the freezer (LMAO) but didn't work.
The smartwatch is in perfect conditions (I barely used it once a week in the gym) and from nowhere this error appears.
I went to the official samsung repair center and they asked 170€ for the repair cost (motherboard + back cover). That's no sense....
Do you know If I, somehow, can disable this temperature sensor allowing it to charge? I didn't find anything in the developers options but maybe with a custom rom or something like that?
I don't want to spend all those money on a 3 years old smartwatch.
Thanks for your time.
Giuseppe
