[port][hydrogen] Snapdragon Camera

only for hydrogen, running aosp nougat rom.
tried this on my hydrogen running lineage os, so far better than google camera.
bugs that exists in the stock camera still exists in this camera, sorry but there's nothing i can do, i just ported this to our device.
most of the camera features work except for recording.
you can flash this in twrp, just make sure you have at least 10mb free space on /system :fingers-crossed:

Hey guys, there's someone shared redmi note 3's google camera mod with HDR+ working and it's better than snapdragon camera.

sorry, edited first post, only available for aosp rom since miui doesnt enable camera2 api iirc

Tested on helium, NitrogenOS 7.1.1, keep closing, maybe it does for AOSP M only?

Works flawlessly on RR 5.8.2. Video recording works and pictures are snapped instantly!

how to get the error log?

package info shows the name is org.cyanogenmod.snap (version is 2.0.002(9002eb7dc1-00), which is included by default in NitrogenOS( I have deleted it when flash the rom), are they diffrent?

So far I've tried nearly all roms and it works only on ColtOS and XenonHD rom.
If I've missed any, someone please add.

Thank you @shreyas_kulkarni ! I do have a couple bugs to report:
- HDR does not work (no error, it just does not process)
- FC when changing "Quick snap mode" under settings
P.S. I am using latest RR 5.8.5 Unofficial build by Woivod.

Actually the Quick Snap is a MIUI exclusive feature... It requires MIUI framework hence FC while changing it in Custom ROMs:silly:
HDR Auto and pro are finniky though... You are correct... But we can use GCam for HDR+ with Camera2api:fingers-crossed:
It gives far more great results and upto 10MB image size and ZSL minimizes the image blurr in HDR:cyclops:

I guess i was a bit quick @shreyas_kulkarni. I would remove it if you'll start a new thread and provide constant updates to this mod with O support.

Does it have Save to SD card option? I can't find it. It is working well in NitrogenOS 8.1 but the pictures are saving in internal memory.

Best Gcam setup for Oreo Roms

Hi guys, how u doing?
So as far as I know many people are experiencing laggy gcam in oreo and after testing the possible ways here's the fix for it...
All u need to do is setting these configurations the same way that I did.

Thanks i just flash the fix and now its working fine. btw which apk you are using i am not getting the same settings as yours in the apk which i am using . I have downloaded the suggested version from the link above

Thanks for your help. BTW is portrait mode working via the front camera in my case its working but most of the time a greenish colour picture is captured

Dont flash if via twrp it wont work (atleast for me it didn't) use magisk and reboot it will work fine:good:

I have tried several newer version of gapps from the link you provided but all the camera generates greenish images from front camera both in portrait mode HDR+ as well as normal auto mode. Is it working for you fine?

I guess you are trying to say that the gcam app crashes every time you are trying to open the app right? If that's the case then flash the fix via magisk module

Some ROMs are now updated with fixes for gcam. Do check it.

Video recording not working in latest pixel experience ROM which has a fix for gcam too. It it working for you

[Support] Open Beta 11 Doesn't Work With Arnova GCam v8

Hey,
I have a OnePlus 5T and Open beta 11 with the camera libs fix breaks my camera-related apps. This for gcam v8. Attached isy magisk modules with the fix removed and a magisk log cat. I don't know what could be conflicting with it. Oh and I am on Magisk v16.6. perhaps it has to do with treble now?

Dude. Uninstall the camera2 module and install the fix camera lib. You can find it in the telegram chat (use #latest). This may be the reason. Btw. You don't need the op5t google phone and contact module if you have the google framework module

I tried everything that was suggested in the thread linked and your post. Still nothing.

Where can I find the savitar's full op5t pack and fix camera lib? I can't find it in magisk module - downloads.

yup just checked it used to though never knew it was fixed

Question I can't take photo when the phone is shaking.

For example in the car,the picture will not be taken until I hold my phone very stable,using custom ROM's camera app.What can I do to make the camera save the photo regardless of current moving state of the phone.
To simulate this ,just move your phone fast with your hand while taking photos.

What about Gcam? Also which Custom ROM are you using?

That might be the problem yes. I am currently on VoidUI and all works great
