Hello, I tried to use a controller midi (an m-audio keyboard) with an otg adapter 'usb 3.1 to female usb 3.0' to play with synthesizers app, but it doesn't work. I tried to search something, i only find that the midi support isn't a Lineage's feature. There will be any way to use midi controller in Lineage?
For what i can understand to use midi controller i have to enable midi for usb host mode (CONFIG_SND_USB=y and CONFIG_SND_USB_AUDIO=y). I'm not a developer so i have no idea how can i do that...I think it needs kernel build

Few of these threads have been made, but not sure if anyone has shown OTG USB host cable work with USB dongle supporting a bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
I followed this scheme to connect the 4th pin ID to the 5th pin ground. The rest was very simple.

Click bellow to see pictures of the USB bluetooth dongle connected via host wire with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse working flawlessly.

Let me know if you have any questions
I think there was a thread related to this matter already : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1070573&highlight=otg
That thread doesn't use a bluetooth dongle. Instead, it uses the built in bluetooth feature of the phone to connect to a bluetooth keyboard and mouse without using the OTG host usb. That's why I wanted to try it this way and see if it worked.
OTG cable
If i use OTG cable for my NOVO 7 paladin(tablet with Android Version 4.0.1) or Xperia ARC(Android version 2.3.4), can it support to my external USB device(like printer)?

Why don't you want to use the built in BT? Surely then you can output to a big screen or charge the phone.
mouse and keyboard also not detected by XPERIA ARC.

I don't have OTG cable?
Is OTG cable is required?
observation: Using USB HOST Controller Software(Available in Android market)
1) For NOVO 7 Paladin : USB HOST MODE is ACTIVE
:Keyboard, mouse not detected
2) For XPERIA ARC : USB HOST MODE not available or not Active
:Keyboard, mouse not detected

Hello,
I am on a look out for tutorial that would explain in detail how one can connect an XBOX One controller to a SM-P600 tablet via OTG USB cable.
The questions that I have trouble finding answers to include:
Does the controller need to be with batteries installed when connected via USB to work?
Do I need to press any specific button to initiate detection of a controller by tablet?
Do I need any software, a rooted device or maybe even more advanced alterations to my tablet like custom rom, kernel patches etc.
As the controller supports wireless, can it be used to with wireless adapter or directly with the tablet? (and again what software one would need)
Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my Chiq 50in Android TV. I added a bluetooth mouse for use with Chrome browser (via Sideloader) because using the remote is a pain. Problem is, the mouse works perfectly...except for one thing. When I need to enter text, the mouse won't select from the onscreen keyboard, so I have to resort to the remote again which is so slow. Any ideas or suggestions?
Would a keyboard work for inputting text?
Late reply. Still useful

I try to connect my phone with TV via microHDMI, but it seems it doesn't support it... so, Is there any "driver" MHL app, to make a support & connect every phone with TV via MicroHDMI (from Type C microUSB port & without device specific hardware support)???
Also, Can we fix microG (for Game Logins)?
