Hi all
I like to set a daily Do not disturb on my G7 but strangely it activates one day but not the next..I have it set for everyday and for same on and off times to not be disturbed.
Yesterday it activated fine for correct times but today not and it’s happend a few times now and wonder what might be happening..

I seem to be having a problem with my Alarm Clock for some reason and can't figure out what is happening.
Last week I had to get up @ 7:25AM so I tapped the clock on the home screen, set one alarm to 7:25 and one to 7:30 so I would not oversleep. Worked flawlessly all week so no worries there. This week, I don't really need to get up since I'm off from work, so I went to the home screen, tapped the clock and not only slid both sliders to "Off" for the alarms, I also made all alarm-clocks show 0:00.
Surprise surprise; for 7 days straight, my phone is waking me @ 7:25AM and then again @ 7:30AM.
Looked up the registry setting HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Clock and check the 3 registry-keys for all 3 alarms. All seem to be set to NOT wake me at all.
Getting quite tired of this; anyone has any idea to how to solve?
What ROM?
Have you tried rebooting after you made the change?
WinMo is quite dumb at times.
Forgot to mention indeed but using the Energy-ROM.
Rebooted my phone both after changing the alarm-time and after changing/checking the registry. Both failed coz I woke up 7:25AM again today...

Sorry, I haven't used WinMo in ages. Random weird issues like this drove me batty. Android has gotten to the point where (for me) I can use it daily. Good luck.
You may just need to clear your notification queue. This has been a long running bug in WM since PPC 2003 was out. The simplest way by far is to use SK Tools. If you are a WM user who doesn't own this, then something is wrong with you!

I've never actually heard of SK Tools. Learn something new every day...

Rebooting was obviously a bust...
Late update but it seems to have solved itself...
Well, not completely without a hitch; I started with cleaning out the registry. Then I disabled all push-updates to the phone (weather, mail, gps mapping and so on). Set all alarm-clocks to 0:00 and rebooted the device a few times. Next morning, the alarm went off again so I rebooted it again.
And ever since, not had this problem again... And yes, people saying to ditch WM, I might but in a month time I can get a new/free phone from my provider but unsure if I will go for Android or WM7.5.

I posted the known solutions a few posts back. SKTools is the simpler one of the two. If you can't get your hands on a copy of it, there was an alternative in that same post. All you have to do is clear your notification queue.

Got my SGS6 Sat and the most recent OTA is installed. I notice and you can see in my screen shot that I have my DND setup correctly, but yet my "favorites or all contacts" if anyone call or text during the hrs it should notify me, it's all on silent mode, but when I turn DND off it rings or vibrate.
I have it setup to DND M-S from 11pm to 5:15am but yet yesterday and today people been texting outside of my hrs specified and yet I don't get notified.
Is anyone having the same issue or have their DND working?

I've reported a similar issue on my Note 4 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/disturb-schedule-longer-t3100842). Did you ever find cause or solution?

My solution after working with sprint and samsung was to d/l a 3rd party version in the market called do not disturb and that seems to be working well.

I would have loved to get mine working without a 3rd party but even when I had samsung connect into my phone they still didn't now what was up, they told me maybe an update would fix it.

Did the DND schedule ever work for you or was it broken only after that update?
It's getting old having to use 3rd party apps for something that should just be working on the phone. Marshmallow upgrade messed up my phone big time.
The app itself might have Settings you can go into to turn off notifications. That's what I did and FINALLY I'm free!

is ambient display working for anybody when not set as 'always' on and only to pop up when picking up the device?
The display lightens up when I get a notification. It very rarely lightens up when picking up the device (with pending notifications) and it nearly never lighten shows the clock when picking the device up with no notifications (this should be the case, too right?)
I recall this behaviour being more consistent in the beginning when i got this phone some days ago. Now its like ambient display isn't really working
Anyone can relate?

CANNNOT relate.
My IS working when I pick it up & ambient is set to off.
Might have to factory restore it & see if it will work under these conditions.
Try it first under safe mode.

Not sure why you are taking what I wrote the wrong way.
Yes my typing was off but not my grammar (spelled 'Cannot' incorrectly & used MY when I meant mine)

Maybe two or three months ago my phone started boosting the call/notifications volume by itself.
I keep trying to set it to just vibrate when I'm in meetings, as an example, and out of a sudden it rings. Did anyone experience this already?
It does increase only one step from vibrating, so It's not a loud ring, but it still pisses me off. Oftenly it disturbs professional meetings or awakes me if someone message me on whatsapp during the night.

I have heard some complaints about Dec OTA. Maybe wait until next OTA and hope that that fixes it?

I had the same issue but strangely it happened only when the I had my phone on max brightness and used earpiece to talk otherwise it was totally fine
