I strongly advice a50 users to use some kind of screen protection because the glass does get scratches easily

I still have the screen protector which came applied on the phone. Anyone knows what kind it is? I guess it is not tempered glass..
no it's not tempered glass
It is normal clear screen screen guard. Not tempered glass.
you should not remove that btw. in my experience, i regret taking that off knowing there are no good tg alternatives nor non tg protectors.
it's hard to find a perfect screen protector,so dont remove it
Just picked these up while I wait on the perfect tgsp. Have to say I am super impressed...I may just roll with these for the time being. Covers full screen and edges with a built in curvature. Don't know how they stick but they do. Running an OEM case so I can't comment on the case friendliness other than the flip cover which is perfect.

These prevent scratches, but do they also prevent the screen from cracking if you drop the device? I went with glass screen protector but that's because in the past, any time I've had issues with dropping the device, the glass screen protector cracked or shattered, but the device's actual screen protector was intact.

No protection from cracking with these... Only meant for scratches.

Officially Motorola didn't provide any information related to screen protection of moto g40 Fusion on it's site or anywhere else but some of the experts & youTubers have confirmed that it has some sort of protection, lies within GG 3 to GG 5, so U don't have to worry about scratches in day to day usage.
...but no matter what Gorilla Glass or scratch resistant comes with it, obviously wont protect that screen from getting damages if it fells on hard surface from as low as 3ft. height. That's why it is always advised to have a good Tempered glass/Hardened glass screen protector & a good quality back cover as well.
I'll suggest U to follow the same, just do some research, read some users' review before U buy any of those.
Good Luck n Tk cr.
Even if they have used ceramic glass in your devices' screen, it's better to add a good quality screen protector is ideal. It's easy to replace a screen protector if your screen looks shabby than replacing the screen itself. I personally use screen protectors from Gadgetshieldz it covers the edges perfectly and the scratches are invisible with their liquid film protector. But do your own research and find what would be the most suitable option for your device.

While tempered glass screen protectors are definitely recommended when getting a new phone, they aren't for everyone. Nothing will turn your $1000 flagship into a paperweight faster than a shattered touchscreen. This is why your Galaxy S22+ deserves the best screen protector you can get for it. While tempered glass offers the best protection against shatters and cracks, it usually doesn't play nice with fingerprint scanners.
The best ones require you to press your finger harder, and some simply prevent the S22+'s built-in ultrasonic scanner from recognizing prints at all. Film and hybrid protectors offer scratch resistance without bulk, but won't protect as thoroughly against shatters.
we have listed some of the best screen protectors available to ensure you're able to keep that screen spotless for a long time.

What screen protector do you use? Does it have impact on screen sensitivity? Is it a better option to buy Hardglass or foil or maybe hybrid?
Do phones with newest screen like Victus needs aditional screen protector?

Why?
Useless... the original screens are hard enough.
I use one from aliexpress. €4 for 3 pieces. Only important to have rounded edges. Hydrogel was not clear and do not feel nice under finger.
I use one from Lito. It's a full glue, glass screen protector. It's sturdy, I didn't manage to break it yet. I like the fact that it is easier to wipe the screen with a screen protector. Also, I sometimes forget I have keys in my jacket pocket and I don't want any micro-scrathes on the display, just in case I sell it down the line. Even if the screen is Victus, I saw that they are still prone to scratches. I believe JerryRigEverything had a video about it on youtube.
P.S.: no sensitivity issues on it. Fingerprint also works just as well.
I use hydrogel polyurethane film.Excellent protection against damage. The fingerprint works great, rather than glass.
