I just got my Samsung Galaxy S10+ and the Whitestone Dome Glass for it on Monday and I gotta say, it's actually the best tempered glass I have used... First of all, this is not sponsored or anything, this is my first post on XDA Forums and i wanted to start off with something helpful as i saw people asking some questions regarding it. I have been using this tempered glass screen protector for 4-5 days now and i can't believe how amazing it is! The installation definitely requires patience if you want the result to be perfect so i watched an installation video on YouTube by a YouTuber named Thao Huyn (she covers Samsung only i guess) for it but it seems like the Whitestone guys have their own video now with some better instructions. My Installation went perfect and the end result was amazing. The Tempered Glass is 100% transparent (no whitish tint or rainbow effect like other cheap ones which have glow just on the ugly black bezels) and it feels like it's not even there! The Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor works just as good as it worked with the phone's pre-applied screen protector which i mistakenly chipped off while placing the phone in the Transparent case i received inside the box (Yes, Indian S10 Variants get a hard transparent case inside the box of the phone). The durability of the tempered glass can only be tested if i drop my phone once or twice (which i hope doesn't happen lol!). I don't think there are any other tempered glasses that support the Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor but i hope we get more choices soon... If you have any questions regarding the Whitestone Dome Glass, please feel free to reply below and ill try to answer! I hope you found this helpful and I will make sure i keep doing posts like this on XDA Forums ! Images:

UPDATE: I received for the Note10+ as well. Same quality, still amazing. Able to use the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner.
I don't like the cutout for the camera!
It's going to collect dust and other nasties over time and look terrible.
Mine came with a piece of dust on the inside of the protector that I didn't notice until I watched the glue spread. I have a small air bubble in the middle of screen because of it. I ordered a "warranty replacement" for $10.
I also noticed that when you drop the screen onto the glue, it doesn't fall into right into place. I looked at the camera cutout as the glue was filling in and I noticed that it was off center. I was able to move it in time but I never saw this as a problem in the 7-8 installation videos I watched.

That's certainly weird... My installation process went just like the video and no problems with the camera cutout even though I was a bit scared...

Maybe the bottom of the protector wasn't placed in the caddy right.
The dust thing is annoying. It was a speck that must have fell on screen when adding glue and I didn't notice it because cross bar glue thing was blocking my view. Oh well. Can't wait to try again.

Yeah... I did not want to take any chance with the installation so what I did was I took my steam iron and kinda spread the steam over the place where I would install the screen protector.... What this does is that it will make all the dust particles settle down for a few minutes so I did not have the dust problem which others might face.
Hi Ishan! I am from Hyderabad. Where did you get the protector from? Did you buy from Amazon.com for $50? Or is it available in India by any chance?
I finally got mine on and somewhat right wasted the first tube of adhesive because a bubble never cleared .. took that off cleaned up redid it now I have a small bubble top and bottom I can live with

I think they wanted to prevent a bubble from being over the camera in the event you didn't get a perfect install.

Dust is removable. Sure, it's a pain but the bubble is there until you remove the screen protector. One company does make one that goes all the way over the camera, it was shared on this forum a few days ago.

Wana bet it will go under screen on that spot?In which case it wont be so removable..
We will see after month or 2 of use...
I've scratched my factory film so the whitestone goes on tomorrow
I'll take that bet. I had a Whitestone for 6 months on a note 9 with a cutout around the camera. Flawlessly blocked dust under the glass. Due to the adhesive NOTHING goes under the glass when it's cured. I dip my phone regularly in water to clean it. Never ever ever had an issue. They're 1000% better than Zagg or 9ther non adhesive screens. I'll never go back.

There are some reddit posts that say when you do this, it increases the chances of the edges popping up.
I put on my 2nd screen a couple nights ago. Way better installation than my first one with the dust.
After resetting my prints, I was amazed how fast it opened up. However, I've noticed that in the last hours, the misreadings have increased.

Man, Me too! Like 3 days into using the phone I realized where I swipe with my thumb, I have put a crap load of scratches on it. WITH MY THUMB!!! Holy cow, a finger scratched the screen protector! I didn't think my calluses were that bad! I plan to order a Whitestone Dome soon.
Hey guys,
Bought one of these from a local shop. Not bad at all much better than a stupid one with a punch hole for the fingerprint i tried before and removed it in one day. No touch issues or unlocking and simple to install. And, it looks really good perfect fit not visible at all. I will update you guys if I notice any issues with it in the future.

DO NOT use matte protector, it makes the SAMOLED look like 1970s B&W TV with no signal, I tried it on my vibrant and on the new sgs-II with same results. Anyways if you want one then its available here:

hmmmm never heard this before.... this is not good. thanks for the heads up. i was deff gonna buy one. how did it do against finger prints?
It does reduce the fingerprints as compared to glossy one but at a cost of looking at horribly pixelated screen with rainbow effect which is much noticeable in solid colors or backgrounds. You'd wish they worked as well as matte screens on laptop.
LOL i guess i purchased one without knowing

I used to have a matte screen protector on my HD2. Gave me headaches from the rainbow oil-slick effect.
Yep, the other members are correct. I had one on the S2 for about...two days because my OEM screen protector had gotten bent, and it was the worst move ever. Touch accuracy was a joke. The screen looked horrible. ~1980's tv
Yeah I hated my matte screen protector on my SGS4G. Made it look really pixilated like vicosphi said.

Unlike the typical screen protectors, the ones I got from XtremeGuard do not have 3 layers of plastic (meaning there's no protective layer covering the top of the screen protector itself, just the screen protector and the backing).
In addition, the sides of the screen protector do not stick to the screen. You get a bubbling effect all around the screen protector. This probably has something to do with the poor cutting of the film. You can see that they aren't well cut even before peeling and applying the screen protector. I haven't had this issue with other screen protectors, and yes, I've used many.
Maybe they sent me a bad batch but I'm only speaking from experience. I'm not talking about their other full body products, only the screen protector.
I still have around 4 or 5 of them lying around at home left over from testing if anyone wants pictures but that would have to wait until tonight.
Just got my phone today... ordered Realook Screen protector two days ago... I had it on my Samsung Vibrant.. one of the best! It gives the real glass feel and looks like nothing is there.... hope it give me the same result.
i ordered this cheepo matte one. when i get it i'll do a review of it.

i got a matte for my hp touchpad and i love how it makes the screen easier to use even though image is less crisp.
matte Screen protector
I tried a matte screen protector and am glad I finally got some regular ones. The matte one, does not look good on the phone. It is harder to read smaller words and does give the screen a much less defined look. One other big issue is my matte screen did not have the cutout for the front facing camera and every time I tried using the front facing camera, my face was all blurred out. One selling point to the matte screen is enhanced visibility in sunlight. I found out this is not true with the super AMOLED plus screen. The screen looks fantastic in sunlight with a regular screen protector, and dull looking with the matte screen. Hope this helps.

I purchased an xtreme guard on Ebay and the cutout was reversed. The sticky part was on the wrong side. The seller is sending me a replacement. hopefully it's correct this time. The cutout doesn't seem exact either. I'll report back when I get the new screen protector. I purchased a mirror finish one prior and I couldn't see **** in the daylight. Lol!

3 layers? That's the cheap crap. Why do you need to cover a scratchproof screen protector? How do you think they keep costs down? By not doing laying an unnecessary layer of film. Even the $30 ZAGG doesn't have a top protective layer.
In addition, you more than likely applied the film incorrectly.
Mine should be here anyday now. I'll post how to make it proper.
I don't work for Xtreme. I've just always used them since my LG Dare days.
I've worked in the wireless industry since 2005. I applied over 400 screen protectors in the past year.
I can say it's not for everyone. Especially the wet applications. I actually ordered one to prove you wrong.
I'll also do an iPhone 4 and Touchpad as well.

I didn't read the directions. I used a spray bottle. I didn't use the squeegee that came with it. I used another. The screen protectors work perfectly fine. Yes, it gets bubbles. But that's the concept. That's how all wet applications work. I did 3 today and they all settled / cured within hours. Be sure to take your time. I use an air duster. A little heat goes a long way and speeds up the process. I usually throw it in my pocket screen facing my leg.
If you get dust under there, you muffed up.
Some of the bubble will stay under there for 1-3 days. You can work them out. If you stretch the screen protector it will overlap and you will see it lift up. I left mine sit in the sunlight for a little and the bubble started working themselves out. Make sure you're doing it right first before telling everyone to avoid the company. Have a little more tact. I'm sure most of the others are probably better at simple things like applying screen protectors than you are.

Curious if you got yours yet and how its looking?
I always preferred the Matte ones because of the feel of them and the lack of finger prints.
I usually don't create threads and make posts but I haven't seem much talk about this product and decided to share my experiences.
I bought the iloome screen mate screen protector after watching flossy carters youtube review and he said it was "A GO". I have had it installed for about 2 days and so far so good. It is tempered glass so it is super smooth and clear. It is not edge to edge (but pretty close) so my cases still fit without a problem.
The touch sensitivity is good but not great. Every so often I do get missed registers but it is not that bad. I installed it slightly off of the back button and I have some problems getting that button to work from time to time but this is not the screens fault, it is mine.
I had the Zagg and hated the sticky feeling of it, the small wrinkles and it make the screen a bit blurry. The iLoome feels and looks just like the naked screen.
If you are looking for a new screen protector I recommend you take a look at this one.

The camera, ear piece, sensor are all cut out. Menu, back, notification light are not but have an outline of the buttons, so if you line it up correctly, you can see the back light of the menu and back buttons.
it also comes with two home button covers to match the height of the new screen after installed.
I just got this yesterday after having seen Flossys video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0LTYSfrcb8 Great product, went on with no bubbles. I was a bit worried about my case fitting (Trident Kraken), but it worked perfectly.
correction to previous post the only cut outs are the ear piece and the home button, i just took mine off today after about two weeks of use. there is a notable change in screen response a as not a big deal to some, to me it was too bad and the fact that the uag and other various cases i own did fit, they didn't fit correctly ex. the volume and power buttons being more difficult to press for me anyway. I also dropped my phone with this on from about 3inches and it cracked by the ear piece. others may have had better luck maybe i just got a bad one out of the bunch but in my own experiences i wouldn't choose to buy this again...
So the cut outs are just clear cut outs then?

How much woild this score over 10?
I never really paid attention to the samsung logo being covered until you said something about it.
What do you mean score over 10?
I have had it for over a week now and still like it.. I love how it feels to most. Out of all of the screen protectors I have tried, Zagg, Zagg HD, the cheap ones from the mall, this is the best by far! It does catch finger smudges like the naked screen but quick wipe on your paints removes them very easily. I highly suggest this product, just be sure to install it correctly to reduce frustration that I am having with the back button sensitivity. You can install a rom with nav buttons to fix that but I like my screen real estate.
I was excited to see a glass protector for th s3. Thanks to Erica Griffin's excellent YouTube review. Since spigen's glas discontinued due to screen sensitivity issues, I have been using their ultra crystal and nano clear plastic protectors. They were good, but I miss the feel of glass, and finger prints aren't as easily wiped off compared to glass. anyway, I Just installed the iloome screenmate last night for my S3. I got it on 95% perfect, no issues due to installation like the OP. However, I do have a complaint on the Sensitivity reduction. there have been unresponsive touches, almost seem like I have to press harder than usual. It's really annoying. I'll put up with the dots, but screen sensitivity is important to me. It sucks when the plastic films are more sensitive than the iloome glass.

update: it's been a few days. i am getting a little used to the iloome glass. If I have to do it over again, I'll stay with the plastic film protectors. Now I just have to accept the iloome glass is as good as it'll get for the S3. Lessons learned, don't get a phone with curved screen if you like glass protectors.
I have the iloome and like it a lot. I had one a few weeks ago that the glue failed on, iloome gave me a quick friendly refund. I figured I'd go back to plastic, after two weeks I really missed the feel of glass and reordered the iloome. I have a little bit of a rainbow effect under the glass but I have to look for it to see it. At this p point I'm extremely happy with the iloome.
To answer the earlier post I'm at a high 8 out of 10.
Following is an image of the rainbow effect I see. (note it I rarely notice it unless I am looking for it.

update #2: I have the iloome creame case along side with tempered glass. The case is your typical hard plastic case that provides minimal (if any) drop protection. The fit and finish is very good, and doesn't feel cheap. Anyway, my 1 year old grab my phone from the table and threw it to the tile floor. It landed on the corner of the phone, cracked the iloome tempered glass, nothing else is damaged.
So yes, it probably saved my screen, and I am grateful.
iloome doesnt back their product...email only!!
Bought the iloome tempered glass for my Note 3..did the shower antidust/debris thing- 10 minutes.. washed hands..set everything up- read directions..cleaned phone- cleaned phone again..(cleaned until my facial hair grew back)
yet.. after carefully applying the glass, there we go..debris under glass.
carefully lifted glass..no breakage- tried to use dust stickers, scotch tape on both surfaces..
applied again..same debris. emailed iloome- stated issue- the problem here is static electricity!! not just airborne dust. they will not exchange. only sell you another one at a discount..although ismooth and other companys provide phone numbers to call them, and even offer to send you more to help out.. Iloome does not. My advice?
Buyer beware! destatic yourself..( like when handling electrical chipsets..)memory chips, etc.) very frustrating to WASTE almost 30 bucks to accomplish this CLEANROOM NECESSARY process. maybe its time to tell some companies where to put their gadgets.
Picked up the Samsung Screen Protector yesterday - knew it was a plastic one not tempered glass, but after experiencing issues with the tempered glass protectors on my wife's S7 Edge I thought I'd just go with the one Samsung sold.
Unfortunately I'm not happy with it at all - looked fine on the phone by itself, but kept lifting up on the edges as soon as I put a case on it (Spigen Slim Armor)
So given the choice of screen protector or case - I think I'll go with case.
Even when I pushed the edges down while the case was on it still kept lifting - this is what it looked like after an hour in my pocket:

Nothing was available when I preordered the phone. So I ordered the Liquid Nano stuff from Amazon. It's supposed to fill in any of the imperfections in the glass and help prevent cracks and scratches. So far so good, but it hasn't been a week yet. I'm a little skeptical but I haven't seen any screen protectors that look worth a damn. I don't believe we'll ever see a good curved glass protector, one with adhesive on all sections of the glass. I will say the liquid nano seems to repel skin oils really well and it says it'll last 2 years. I'll give it a month before I say it's good or not.

Bought this too. It's fully compatible with the Ringke Slim case since it doesn't lift around the edges. The only issue I've had with this screen protector is that the edges seem to collect dust - after 2 days, it looks like there's a thin white border all around. At least it doesn't lift with my case.
The Suprecool Screen Protector for S8 Plus in itself is great, I cannot even feel it, and it feels like it will be at least some form of protection, I have yet to drop it, and don't really feel like testing my Phone.
Can clearly see that it's your case peeling the protector, get a new case that doesn't lift the protector off, apply it correctly and you will have no issues.
Im using the same protector but with the clear case from Samsung wich doesn't peel the protector like yours is doing, no issues, ill take one pic tomorrow.
I ended up getting a pack of these after I posted on April 24th and I was able to successfully install the first one flawlessly and it's still on looking great. No peeling or anything. Wasn't hard to install either. Had a few small bubbles that disappeared within an hour.

Any updates regarding the liquid nano? Which brand did you bought?
I think it's not available in India
Edit:- Here it is.. but I have doubt that it's not genuine because all 38 reviews from out side of India

I use the official Samsung Screen Protector and also use the Alcantara case and have had no problems. In fact, all the cases I've used have had no problems with this screen protector. There is a very slight edge lift on all the edges, but it shouldn't interfere with the screen and it shouldn't continue past the bezels. Mine was installed in the Samsung Store by an employee.

This lip on all the edges was actually my problem, in fact it was a little bit more pronounced on the right edge; but you could feel it clearly when swiping and it obviously collects dust in time, looking more and more terrible....

Hm, that's interesting. It hasn't happened to me... yet. I've had the screen protector for about a month. I'll update if this does happen unless I get some major scratch soon.

I don't see anything wrong with the transparency of the screen protector. It seems good to me. Maybe you got a bad one?

I don't know. But it was perfectly aligned and installed by the seller in Samsung Store.....
If you say it didn't raise further from the edges and didn't collect dust in about a month, maybe I'll try another one...
Thanks!
Got this and no issues with it yet. The screen feels more natural (like the actual phone) as opposed to the spigen one i used - which ironically the reason why i changed was because it was lifting after a coupe of hours.
the case is the issue - not the screen protector.
Re the nano liquid - waste of money. Mine slide down my ironing board when I folded it, and gently hit the floor and folded face down onto wood flooring - result was a chip in the middle of the glass. These merely help to keep the screen a little cleaner. Thats all.
Hello S8 & S8+ owners,
In search for a good screen protector we almost tried everything available at the market, the favorite for me so far was the one from Spigen as it is compatible with almost all the covers you can purchase, but it's life is short and get a lot of marks and scratches over the days
So i decided to try the Official Screen Protector

The Package has 2 screen protectors, once you hold it you can feel that it's a hybrid between film and tempered glass, it's hard and flexible at the same time
If you are used to apply the old film screen protector using a credit card pushing the air at same time you applying the screen protector you will get a great result, no one at the youtube videos managed to apply it with the lowest amount of air bubbles
something great about it that the air bubbles fade away within one or two days , i guess it has also a self healing mechanism because while i was trying to force the air bubbles out of it there was a lines or scratches under it but its all gone now and it's very clear
it's touch is nice and you can feel that your finger is sliding on it , very close to the original glass
It's a little bit thick so Samsung called it for External Shock and i guess it will do a good job regarding the minor shocks.
The thing i don't like about it that it's not compatible with spigen cases or any other case that cover a part of screen , it works very fine with covers like Nillkin Frosted Shield
I guess it's the best option available there if you use your phone without cover or with a very slim cover and i guess it will be compatible with Samsung original covers but i don't have any to try
This actually looks good, shame it isn't case friendly.
I've had this on for about a month. Best option I've come across so far. I just trimmed the top and bottom about ⅛" before installing so it wouldn't interfere with cases

Hello,
does the original screen protector any good? i ask because i have one in my phone and it´s already 2 little marks on the screen protector. Most of the time i use the s view stand cover and the LED cover, and a few times the silocone cover.
I thought this screen protector was a against little scratches, but as far as i can see it´s not like that. i don´t belive this is so strong as samsung claim

I bought the Ounier Full Coverage Bubble-Free Screen Protector as it was one of the first brands to come up when searching for screen protectors for Samsung Galaxy S9. My phone is fairly new and I needed to have it fully protected first before I include it in my busy daily routine. I’m the kind of person who chooses convenience over price, but as this product was recommended by a friend (for his S8), I gave it a chance. Besides, It’s really great that the pack has 2 screen protectors; the easier to change, the better. I’ve also had bad experiences with other screen protectors for my old phones as they sometimes hinder with some of the phone’s features, like the double tap, the sensors, etc. Since my friend can’t recall any troubles at all with this protector, this eased my mind a bit with what it had to offer.
I’ve always admired how my friend’s phone looked so seamless and smooth, it always fooled me thinking that his screen protector came with the phone when he purchased it. To my surprise, he installed it himself. Now I’m not a bad friend, but this guy can get excruciatingly stupid at times. I thought if someone as dense as him had managed to somehow not mess up with wet installation, how hard can it be?
I got the screen protectors, a squeegee, a tiny piece of cloth, a manual, and a small bottle spray solution. I’m the old-fashioned type, I never even knew that “wet installation” is actually a thing if not for my buddy. All these items looked so weird to me. I’ll never understand how people come up with this stuff but if it works, then it's fine with me.
The installation was a bit hard for me. Even with my old phones that had the typical stick-on screen protectors, I always have someone else do it or have it pre-installed before I buy the phone. Still, I’m really just doing this task because I was inspired by my friend, and I wanted to rise up to the challenge.
Upon getting ready, I tried to clean the phone. I realized I forgot to put some solution on the cloth, that’s why I was struggling to really make the phone dust-free. Reading through the instructions, I can’t believe how wet my phone would be while doing this. I mean, is it really supposed to be like that? Watching a video I found online helped me clear up the confusion. It really is a sloppy process.
I tried keeping the screen protector down when I already applied the solution. I think I put too much of the solution which made everything slide where I didn’t want them to. I was getting impatient and thinking I can start over with the second protector. Luckily, the squeegee worked wonders. It was so satisfying to watch the bubbles go away while I was clearing them. What bothered me though, is the edges took some time to stick to the screen. I needed to press the edges down with my palm repeatedly until it stuck into place. My friend suggested to let the film set for at least 5-10 minutes so it would stick and using a hairdryer can really come in handy as it won't adhere if it is too wet, especially on the edges.
I almost messed up too when I failed to align the corners where they should be (camera, sensors, speakers). Good thing was that the screen protector kept moving around. Just be careful not to press down with the squeegee too hard as the film stretches quite easily. You wouldn’t want a deformed screen protector, of course. If you’re having trouble clearing the bubbles, take your time.
Once looking crisp and free from air bubbles, I left it for a solid 30 minutes to sit. I went back to it to make sure I had all sides pressed firmly down. Thinking I was done at last, the manual said it’s important to leave it for a few hours. It was also stated that the bubbles will gradually disappear as soon as the moisture underneath the film completely dried up. It might take overnight or a day for some but bottom line is just trust the manufacturer that it would work. I impatiently left it overnight and checked it at the crack of dawn.
Here comes the testing part. There were no swiping and tapping issues after placing the film. I was also worried that rainbow colors will be visible since it was a wet installation, but there were none! I don't know if it's a bad idea but I intentionally scratched it with my nails to see if it would leave a mark. The following day, the scratch was still there but already faded and was hardly noticeable. I was amazed and I’m counting on it to make my phone look brand new for a long time.
Translucent, sleek, sexy — that’s exactly how my phone screen looked. I almost feel bad that I underestimated the installation part as I almost wanted to throw the first screen protector I used. If done correctly and patiently, you will have a premium looking phone. Don’t rush it if you don’t want to regret it. So for you guys who are afraid of the “wet installation”, give it a try. It was a bit difficult for me, but I’ll do it again if it means maintaining the high quality of my Samsung Galaxy S9. And besides, the S9
This will be a short review which hopefully helps OP7 Pro owners wether they should buy the tempered glass protector from Ultimate Shield or not. Please take your time and read the whole review

This might be the time to add that Ultimate Shield did not tell me to write this, I bought the screen protector because I have used their OP5 tempered glass in the past and was satisfied with that one. In case the pictures don't show on your screen, I've attached them in a zip file down below.
What do you get?
For £11.99 (~14€ / ~15$) and free worldwide you get one screen protector, instructions, dust removal stickers (which I forgot when taking the picture), a microfiber cloth and a wet cloth.
I bought it because I wanted a tempered glass screen protector which is curved so I can protect the whole display including the curved edges.

What about applying it?
The instructions are basically useless, since we're dealing with a screen protector which sticks to the phone with the adhesive side, so no bubbles, no "vacuum" or anything like that, as long as the display has been cleaned before nothing can go wrong, just make sure that the side slim black bar is alined with the top of the phone. Oh and you should remove the preapplied screen protector before putting this one on the display. After that it is important to apply preassure on the border of the screen protector to make it stick, and this is where things get critical, at least that is what happened to me. Even though it looks like I've prefectly placed the glass on top of the display some parts of the protector simply won't stick, or at least stick for a few minutes. I have added some photos where you can see a tiny gap. Keep in mind that I have applied A LOT of pressure on those parts, more than enough. The screen protector has rounded corners and a curved edge, it covers about 99 percent of the display.
What about colours and sharpness of the display with the screen protector?
After applying the screen protector I haven't noticed any kind of weird colour shifting or rainbow effect. It still looks as sharp as before, but due to reflections the edge of the display has some minor rainbow effect. I only notice that at a specific angle and when the background is white. Oh and it doesn't seem to cut off any part of the screen.
What about the fingerprint reader?
After deleting the old fingerprints and adding new ones with the screen protector applied the fingerprint scanner works 99/100 times, it might take a split second longer than without it, but I didn't have any issues.
What about the touchscreen and gestures?
This is where I got frustrated. After using the phone with the tempered glass I instantly noticed that the touchscreen wasn't as responsive as it was before. "alright", I said to myself, "It is completely normal that it feels different now". Unfortunately this is why I would personally not buy this screen protector again. I had to apply more pressure than ususal when tapping on an icon and so on. Sometimes the touchscreen didn't register even though my finger clearly touched the glass. This was very annoying when using the keyboard, in almost every sentence at least one or two characters where simply missing because the touchscreen wasn't as responsive as before. Same story with gestures, you need a lot more pressure and when swping up or down in order to open the app drawer or notifications it sometimes works but sometimes it takes up to three tries in order to get the gesture to work. In comparison, without the tempered glass screen protector I had no issues at all.
SUMMERY
Applying it was easy but when I did it it didin't stick as good as I hoped it would. The tempered glass screen protector doesn't really change colours, which is a good thing. THe touchscreen experience was comparable with one of those older smartphones where you had to use more force and it wasn't as accurate. Overall, I can not recommend it for the price, unless you use the touchscreen with a lot of force. If you think that I didn't apply it correctly feel free to "call me out" in the comment section and tell me how you would have done it.
UPDATE
Since the tempered glass didn't stick very well anyway I went ahead and carefully removed it and moved it about 1mm downward. Unfortunately the touchscreen is still not responsive enough to use the keyboard without any issues which is why I contacted Ultimate Shield directly via Email. (still waiting for them to reply)
FINAL UPDATE
They answered and after looking at the images I send them they said that it might be faulty because according to them the black adhesive should stick much better than it did in my case. They were kind enough to give me a refund! If you bought one and had a much better experience please tag me so I can quote your opinion!
Probably cus it's not full adhesive. We need to wait for Whitestone or something like that

Too bad OP didn't release one at launch. I assume they will down the road like they did with the 6T.

Well the flap of the protective foil that was on the the glass was probably the indicator.
That and the fact that the bottom part of teh black frame was way wider than the upper part...
About 2mm of black adhesive on the buttom and 1mm on the top...
EDIT:
It wouldn't make sense to aline the the thicker black line with the thin bezel
I've sent UltimateShield an email concerning this issue.
I've ordered same protector for delivery tomorrow, getting the phone today so I'll give it a go, how is it with cases or have you not checked? I've ordered the Ringke Fusion-X too so would hope they'll work together.
Watched this video of the PureGear protector, from XDA fave TK Bay, which looks mucho pricey but seems to play nicely with, at least, official cases.

the glass doen't fully the cover the display, there's about 1 to 1.5mm between the tempered glass and the frame of the phone, I can use the transparent TPU case that came with the phone without any problems
Thank you for your review. I currently have a film on my screen now. I was thinking about purchasing a tempered glass shield for my 7 pro especially since T-Mobile has the Puregear one on sale for 10 bucks off (if I'm not mistaking) but I'm not sure.
I actually ordered the same tempered glass, but I noticed that it wasnt clear and that the black outline on the edges was the adhesive. It doesn't truly embrace the curved screen, but you can use it for the back of your phone. I glued to the back of my 7 Pro with the clear case on. Your phone will look like a beast

I'm waiting for this to show up: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RP5KJXV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Seems like a Whitestone clone. Hoping it's decent.
Got one too. Install was super easy but like said in OP, sensitivity gets way worse. I would not recommend.
Do you know if the product is in stock?
Looks like the OP product was replaced by a newer full adhesive version:

The screen of my 7Pro looks like new. I never used a screen protector. Just the sandstone hardcase for the back.
