Hi, guys, I with some friends want to build an app but, we need a cheap or mid price wearable device with an open API that provides access to such data as heart rate, blood pressure, burned calories and activity tracker, what would you recommend us to use?

Hello guys I have a question,
I want to buy the miband 1S (with heart rate monitor) and I'm particularly interested in running Mode that continuously measures the heartbeat.
I heard that you can activate this mode only if you own a smartphone xiaomi.
Since I have a Samsung device is available the modified app that allows all devices to use this feature?
let me know, thanks.
Hello. I have a s6 and the running mode seem to run. I didn't make a true run for the moment but the application find the gps and give the hearth rate.
I try to find a way to use the mi band as hearth rate monitor in runtastic but I didn't found for the moment. If someone can help...

i had sucessfully connect my mi band 1s(HRM) on a huawei honor 3x phone, with working continously measure heartbeat, i believe i have the same interest like you do, looking for a cheap continous HRM wirst band.
here is the apps i had test for continous heartbeat monitoring:
-runtastic pro(fail to connect)
-rubtastic mountain bike pro(fail to connect)
-runkeeper(fail too...)
the only working apps is Endomondo.
@kentdream
so you can confirm it works with endomondo?
How it works? I mean does it show heart rate in endomondo statistics?
I was using 1.8.111 mi fit app with no success .

You can share this message (facebook, twitter...) :
(Mi band pulse 1s / Runkeeper integration) Can you upvote just by clicking on the up arrow to the left of the picture of my face. Thanks so much !
I can't publish the link (new user of this forum) but just write "runkeeper mi band pulse" on Google
Hello All,
I just got a Mi band 1s ( HRM) from GearBeast, but i cannot detect it on the bluetooth scan from my xperia Z1compact.
The box and the band look legit ... so I was wondering if i am doing something wrong here.
And with the APP from "Mi Fit" seems to work (connected i don't know how)... which is very strange ( it finds my band by vibrating it, or i get the notification.... ) so it is weird....

Hi Everyone,
I'm working a research project which involved in collecting accelerometer and gyroscope data. I would like to use the Sony Smartwatch 3 as a data collection equipment but I'm not sure what is the sample rate of those sensors on the watch is enough.
I wonder if there is any one who own the watch and could help me run a little experiment about the sample rate. I write a simple app here: github.com/valkjsaaa/AndroidWearSampleRate/releases/tag/v1.0 . Just download the source code and compile it using Android Studio, run it on your watch, and tell me what is displayed on the watch.
Thanks a lot!
Accelerometer sample rate smartwatch
Hi jackieyang9!
I am wondering the same thing and would really appreciate information regarding the sample rate of different smartwatch types. If you gathered any information regarding this I would be very thankful!
100Hz and 100 Hz for the Ticwatch E.
Can someone post the sample rates for barometer and accelerometer in Huawei Watch? I am a developer working on apps that use these sensors and it's important to know various devices' capabilities when working on algorithms that process raw sensor data. For example, LG G Watch R has a barometer running at 90Hz sample rate and accelerometer at 200Hz. This is very good because it gives me a lot of samples every second for smoothing and differentiation.
Here's how: install an app called Smart Altimeter and tap the info icon.
Your help is much appreciated. Not trying to promote the app or anything - delete it if don't need it.

Thank you! 20Hz is decent. So far, Huawei and LG watches are the only AW devices featuring a pressure sensor.

According to this article: http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-...emote-shutter-for-a-smartphone-camera_id67946 Google Camera should work as a remote. It doesn't work for me and I don't even see the app on my watch. There are others listed there, so one of them should work for you.
already checked that thread...but i know there is a built in option on the huawei watch since i already took pictures with my watch...i just did it accidently so my question is if anyone can tell me how i did it (without any app download)
hope this helps as per the gethuawei website http://www.gethuawei.com/huawei-watch-faqs
Q: Can I use my watch to take a photo on my phone?
A: Yes, but you must install a third-party app that can be used to take photos.

It's kind of silly that Huawei phones don't have this feature built in the camera app.
yes as they are from the same people quite right i use wear camera its a 3rd party app but it launches the camera app from the watch has a view finder on the watch etc works rather well.
I tried to use the remote shutter on an Honor Magic3 phone, a Samsung Galaxy S22 and iPhone 13, can't find any shutter app :-(
Hello, i'm fairly new to smart watches but i have a question.
I want to use the smart watch as a remote for my mobile phone camera ( huawei mate 20 x) but every remote app i find for the watch have an "own camera app".
is there anything where i can control the shutter of the actual internal huawei camera app?
Try Camera Remote (formerly Wrist Camera) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kemasdimas.wristcamera&hl=en it works perfect for me on Samsung smartphone and does not have its own Android camera. First 7 minutes trial.
Not sure if you picked one already, but after I've tryed both Wrist Camera and Camera One I've decided to go with camera one since it has more options and was even a bit cheaper. It also comes with IIRC 1h free trial.
Just be advised to buy it from PLAY STORE (IAP) + Camera One Companion and not the Camera Gear Paid from Galaxy Store.
As the developer answered me by email, the Camera One has more options (!?!?).
