My phone (Nova 3 - PAR-AL00) crashes whenever I try to make a call or use any app with sound input. I cannot receive any calls and cannot hear any sound. No sound output works either. Tried bluetooth headsets as well, but no sound output comes. Did soft reset and hard reset but the issue is still there. Checked for a hardware issue but it looks fine. Any help on this?

So im getting no call audio from my phone and its driving me nuts, the speaker works, i can hear ringtones in the settings ---> sounds and on incoming calls but i cant get call audio from the handset or speakerphone. I don't have a bt headset so i can't try that (i don't have the default one either).
I had the phone loose in some stuff so it could have been a crazy key combination that did it, but i doubt a setting could leave me here (especially one so hard to find)
i've tried all kinds of resets and tried calls with all the processes killed (via celetask), its all the same.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Nb... actually I've discovered that sound seems to disappear altogether, not just for calls.
I'm having an odd issue with my TP2: audio seems to inermittently stop working during calls.
Sometimes it works fine and other times there's no audio at all (either held to ear or on speaker). On speaker, there's a buzzing noise but nothing discernable at all.
The change from audio to no audio can occur mid call, but I haven't figured out if anything in particular is happening at the time. If I soft reset I get audio back, although it does sometimes also come back on its own.
I'm using a 6.5 rom (TPC 5.5) and the most recent radio.
Any ideas?

I installed the Xfinity TV Player App on my Epic 4g yesterday (stock FC09) and I am having a weird problem since where I am unable to hear any sounds from my phone speaker (media, system sounds, phone calls) except for notifications/ring tones. The microphone also does not seem to be working during my phone calls since the person on the other end cannot hear me. However, the speakers and microphone work just fine if I use my earbuds - I would just prefer to not have to pull them out all the time just to answer a phone call. It can't be a hardware problem with my phone since I hear ring tones just fine, so I figure it has to be a software problem.
All volumes in my sound settings are at max. Powering off and turning back on the phone doesn't fix it. I have uninstalled and re-installed and uninstalled the Xfinity player app with no change. (I don't know if this is relevant, but when I installed the app, after installation I got the "low internal memory" message and then when I uninstalled, it gave me a message that it did not uninstall properly.)
I would prefer not to hard reset my phone if possible, but I can't think of anything else I might try. Any input would be much appreciated - thank you!
Just finished the flash to [Official][4.4+]CandyKat Rom[2/5/14] rom and I'm loving it. Everything checks out except for the sound when making calls or receiving calls. Device audio works when not in a call, speaker works when not in a call, all other audio works when not in a call. While in a call you can't hear anyone on the other line and they can't hear you. It's the same for speaker, wired headset, bt headset, and of course the handset speaker. I've tried installing SoundAbout to see if simply rerouting the sound would fix it, but that didn't work. Tried a soft reset and then a hard reset and that didn't work. Any ideas?

I have this weird issue when I try to answer/make a phone call where I can only listen to them through the loudspeaker... The oled earpiece seems to not work, I'm kind of thinking that this may be a software issue as I've tried listening WhatsApp audios through the "earpiece" and they sound fine... Apparently the phone calls are the only problem...
I did a factory reset, and it worked for the first phone call and then it stopped giving me any sound
Any idea how can I fix this?

In the phone app, go to call settings then additional settings, then turn off hearing aid compatibility. This fixed the issue for my friends LG G8. When I enabled it, the issue returned.
