Android Pie and OneUI for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Discussion
Lets discuss if Android Pie OneUI will get to the S6 Edge Plus.

possibly only through roms which i don't think it will be possible as this device might be old to cope up with the newer hardware in 2019. But we can only hope right

Seriously doubt it. There has been no new development for this device in ages.

I actually don't find my Tab S 8.4 to have all that much bloatware on it compared to other devices I've owned. Most of the things I didn't want could be disabled so no big deal.
I think devices released after the S6 may not have all that bloatware out of the box, but I think devices that are on the market right now will get an update more along the lines of what the S5 got it
"Here is a new version of android for your tab s! It doesn't include these 20 thing, 5 of which you used all the time! Please feel free to figure out how to reinstall them!"
Yeah, I am pretty sure they will never do that to happy customers.

rofl yea lol that would be like a dream come true :S >< man im dying to get lollipop on my tab s i dunno why i dont have any issue with kitkat atm but still its pissing me off how my brother got it on his NEXUS 4 !!! and my cousin on his nexus 7 :| i mean WTF Q,Q !!!! my tablet can eat them both at once in power and everything but samsung is just so laaazy when it comes to software updates

Is it worth jumping from rooted 5.1.1 doh6 to any of the recent mm 6.01

To all the users on xda do you think its worth the transition? I ask because the latest official 6.01 MM from tmo made my friends s6 edge fail to where it was feeling too hot at times then the lcd output blew out and not even a screen replacement can fix it. Now he has no way of using his s6 edge and dont know if i should update and if i do which offical 6.01 i should install?
I dont mind doing a custom mm version with bloatfree added. Thanks to anyone who gives their 2 cents on this topic:good:
23 views with head scratching going on really xda is changing not for the better sadly.
I have an s6 edge plus that had the 5.1.1 update
I had the old update with root and then decided to update to 6.0.1 failed and got the kernel is not seandroid enforcing, I installed a kernel meant for Sm-G928T, it worked but my system folder was only 8mb and didn't boot, I installed the s7 edge rom port for s6 edge, it worked and I have s7 features for an s6 edge plus with the 6.0.1 update and root, the only way I got my phone working was by getting the Simple S7 edge rom port for S6 and s6 Edge, or for the s6 edge plus, Simple s7 edge rom port for Note 5 and S6 edge plus.
SO YEA, I think it's worth it
Thanks i do appriciate the info. Could you pm me the info i need to find the rom for the s6 edge on tmo and the kernel?

Only a kernel is needed to use S6 Edge roms on S6 Edge + and i got it. I just need a tester to be sure that it work with LOS 15.1

8.0

I seen on google there's a 8.0 ROM available for tmo s4. True? Max Lee has links but I'm still unsure
All of the 8.0 ROMS for the T-Mobile Galaxy S4 are in beta. They're certainly available, but there are bugs like that camera not working.
