It's just test kernel how looks 4K / 120hz with enforced 60fps
Just removed other resolutions in dsi-panel-somc-synaptics-sharp-4k-cmd-ID6.dtsi
For Treble-Enabled GSI Only
1080p120 seems V-Sync limit 60hz - not 24fps is good news (Idk HWComposer's VSync part)
4K60 seems laggy (Yeah, not for daily use / 30~50fps)
Flash:
1. reboot in fastboot
2. fastboot flash boot boot-*.img
3. fastboot reboot
4. boot in twrp
5. disable dm-verify (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/universal-dm-verity-forceencrypt-t3817389)

Booted fine for me after I flashed dm-verity disabler.
True, not the fastest, but its a good start.
I'm using this as a secondary phone, so if you do need a tester I'm all aboard ;p
The fix for 120Hz is in my kernel. Set your FPS_MAX value to match it.

Sjll's Treble is SODP-based.
You'll need a FPS test app to check if it can really produce 120 fps. However, you should be able to immediately notice if your phone is running at only 24 fps.

Well, I've got 4K working and so has Pavel. With the FPS max patch I don't see why 120 won't work once I add the panel dts, but then again I'm based on stock.

Specially the build.props in system and vendor. There are some Entries that may be required to tell the System what the Screen should do. I merged some of them into My Work like:

vendor.display.res_switch_en=1

Here a bit late, but can anyone confirm that it is possible to enforce 4K in any kernel? I would need my XZP for VR streaming, therefore 4K would be pretty useful. Thank you!
With the adb method you can in stock

I'm not sure if this will work on the stock ROM, or if it has any side effects, but so far it works OK on "LePro3 Google Edition by Cydras" ROM which is based on Stock 5.9.020S.
Root is required.
Edit /system/build.prop and add this at the end:
Code:
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
Reboot, and you can use Camera Apps that shoot in RAW mode and have manual controls for focus, ISO, shutter etc. (like AZ Camera).
Thank you! I was wondering about this!
21s not working.
I'm on the lineage OS 2-24 beta and This doesn't work for me either. Just get a black screen in camera app
Working for me on 20s as well.

I'll be flashing this the second I get home. Used the kernel on my 6P and it was rock solid. Looking forward to getting it on my device!
I see you mention that the kernel is based on 4.4.97 but I am running the latest build (025) and kernel version says 4.4.56, but I guess it is still ok to install?
Also, have anyone tried to patch the boot image with Magik?

I don't block any wakelocks by default on purpose; they shouldn't really be disabled because 1. they don't make that much of a difference and 2. they are usually needed for the device to function properly. But any of the ones that EXKM shows by default should be okay to disable.
Yes, I know they are needed but just thought I would try to disable those with most wakelocks and see if I noticed any difference..

Hi, I've been through a problem with my MZP after I flashed retbr stock rom. I'm in the latest security patch level, android 7.1.1, everything is okay, but the camera does not focus in nothing. I'm not able to take photos of the computer because it gets veeeeery blurry, and even if the photo is not about the computer, it doesn't focus, like, I tried to take a photo of a box in front of me, I was like 15cm away and i can't read anything written in the box.
Can someone help me? Where are the official stock roms? Because it seems to be a fake stock rom...

You are not wrong about being afraid of unlocking BL, but my advice is to do so, since it sets you free to customize your stock rom, install custom recoveries/roms, debloat(but moto isn't that bloated) and many other very nice things. It's not a difficult thing to do, and is very useful.
If you're afraid, ok, but think about doing it in some months maybe!?

I'm not afraid, lol. I did that many times (even using exploit on Verizon Moto). Just not finding good reason to do so. Against unlocking bl is that my bank app will stop to work, then I have to use magisk... Quite a headache when stock works just fine. I'm even thinking to not accept any further update, including 8.0.

[ro.product.cpu.abilist32]: [armeabi-v7a,armeabi]

Missing value in the last line probably means no 64bit support.
