Anyone know how to edit geocoding on AOSP like greatslon (from 4pda forum) did for MIUI?
I mean, when you calling or receive call, on screen you can see service provider/city/state etc.
On my Havoc Android 9 I see only city or country (even if I call/recieve mobile number) but not service provider.
Some numbers info takes from Google maps/Google search (or something). For example, I call +380441111111 and number change to "Good fishing" (Check yourself).

i am searching for a tool or app which can filter/highlight Names in the Adressbook.
Maybe its better to explain what for i want it.
There are so many numbers of Providers like AT&T, Verizone, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile... they all have a special prefix
in Germany

I need an App or a plugin for the adressbook to Filter out the numbers from a Provider.
Ideas
1. just Filter it for the beginning numbers and Show Highlighted(other color)
2. an App where you can Select the Provider and then it shows the list of Contacts with this Provider
3. Just add the tag Provider to the adressbook (like the Filter looks for numbers in the beginning)
Maybe this App / Filter already exists, i didn't find it.
So if anyone knows about software like this let me know...

Weeks ago i tried the chinese kitkat but i had 2 problems as many others who tried it :
1) The cursor was missing in many apps ( in the search field of Play Store for example )
2) Below the incoming call i was seeing chinese letters.
Only these 2 things. ( i don't mention the lack of google play apps because i know how to install them manually )
I don't want better score in benchmarks,
I don't want any customizations.
I just want a rom exactly as the chinese KK but with the above 2 things corrected.
Is there such rom out there ?

Have the next features:
- Removed Chinese apps.NO MORE CHINESE LETTERS in system apps.
- Country and City names are displayed in your language when calling and receiving calls.
- Smart number identification correctly dispayed, full international display call log, even how many times the phone rang when missed call.
- Messaging is no more displayed in Chinese...working correctly.
- Weather.com instead weather.com.cn
- I did some corrections and install missed system apps (ex. huawei backup, email), modif. in build.prop and local.prop for correct language display, call log display, gapps integration, rooted.
- Suspend button with float apps.
Im from venezuela and it gives the right cities in my country and show the correct info about it.

I have seen this rom but it solves only the problem No2 and not the problem No1 ( it doesn't mention anything about the missing cursor ) :/
Hello everyone, this is David and I'm new to this forum. Thanks in advance for your support and congratulations for all your contributions. I've searching for topics like the issue I have with our Android App but didn't find anything that helps me, so I decided to open this thread.
We have developed an NFC based Android App which reads different tags (mifare ultralight - NTAG213). This is to manage beehives so each one has a unique ID (cusotmized URI - number). It's working OK in every device but in mobile phones from Norway we have this trouble:
App starts, then customer taps the key (it's necessary to log in and allow a range of ID numbers) and after that everything is working fine.
Then customer taps another tag (beehive ID) and also it works fine. But after reading and registering this new beehive, app crashes (NFC stops) and the only way to enable again is to swith off/on NFC on device.
This is really curious because our app log doesn't show any failure and it just happens in two different mobiles from our norwegian customer (oukitel WP2 and Sony xperia L3). Even he sent me some tags to test with our mobiles and they're working fine. All the other customers around Spain and LATAM are working fine.
Anyone has an idea of what could be happening?
App is called Abeefy and if some of you want to test it please contact and I'll give you data to encode a key and be able to use your own tags to simulate.

Hi... Does anybody know process name of OnePlus Scout...
I don't use shelf, and I find that I don't like Scout widget....But I like idea and how it's work, so I wont to call it dorm KWGT and make my own widget, but I can't find anwhere how to start Oneplus Scout (name) to make it possible to call it form kwgt.

I will ask for advice: I recently purchased a Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE MIUI 13.
My region is Israel.
The MIUI is global and installed, as a system application, Google Dialer V 96.0.491.
I want to record incoming or outgoing calls, in the settings of the dialer the option to record does not exist at all even though I found tutorials where it says to check "Always record" in the settings of the dialer.
Unfortunately, this option is hidden and cannot be activated.
Note: According to the law in Israel, it is allowed to record conversations - even without the knowledge of the person being recorded - provided that you are talking to the person being recorded.
Another note - I tried charms and applications for call recordings and it didn't work - I got a message "Recording failed."
I would like guidance or an explanation on how to "force" the dialer to record calls.
In the picture you can see that there is an icon with a recording and at the end of the call the message "Recording failed" is received.
In the Google Dialer settings, you see that there is no "record calls" or "Always record" option.

You should use root access and magisk module to record calls in non china based xiaomi rom. Xiaomi eu much more safe way or you can use China rom. It is original
