Wifi problem after screen replacement - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hey guys,
After I broke my display a few weeks ago i bought a replacement screen + digitizer and repaired it. I also changed the battery. Everything worked fine afterwards.
Mobile connection, gps, speaker, camera, fingerprint reader, everything. Just the wifi doesnt seem to get a propper signal.
I have to stand right infront of the router for it to find the connection and even then its not stable.
Before the repair everything worked fine. I guess it has to be a problem with the connection from the wifi
module to the antenna? But i cant seem to figure out where the contacts are to check.
All the pins at the backside of the motherboard which connect to the battery case seem alright.
I looked for this problem on and I found a few people who had a similar problem but no solution
other then clearing the network cache or factory resetting which didnt help for me.
Another idea i had after looking for a solution for other phones aswell was that I might have accidentally switched 2 screws around on the upper motherboard because some of those create a connection aswell right? Gonna look at them the next time i have time to open it up.
I have oxygen with twrp and rooted it with magisk if that information is needed but i dont think its a software problem because it was working fine before.
Thankful for any kind of help.

I had some time opening it up again. All the right screws are in the right places and the antenna cable is also plugged in correct on both sides.
Any help regarding where the wifi connects to the antenna at the back of the phone or help in general?
Thanks already

Same problem on my OP3T, I've only opened it to replace camera, earpiece and loudspeaker.
Also bluetooth does not work and GPS is slow to get position.
I don't know what to do. It seems an antenna problem.
Any idea?

[Q] WIFI-Bluetooth-Dead

Hi All,
My WIFI and Bluetooth have completly died, I have tried various ROMS with no effect and flashed back to Stock RUU with th esame results, a LOG cat shows failed to load driver as the error. What I was wondering is does anyone know where the chip is for the WIFI and Bluetooth ? I assume on the mainboard, but thought I would check.
Thanks
Dave
My usual advice, check the battery cover that it's properly seated.
Sent from a dream.
Thank's I have double checked that again now I am begining to wonder if it is a dodgy flash or the system partition is corrupting. I have taken a logcat of the system booting and finally trying to enable WIFI and it seems to have lots of permission errors. I am just re qiping everything again and testing.
I have also noticed the volume buttons have stopped working so, I have ordered a new mainboard Flex cable also hoping it may fix the WIFI as the connectors for the battery cover are on this (http://www.tmart.com/LCD-Flex-Cable...C-Desire-HD-Inspire-4G-G10-A9191_p161463.html)
Resolved?
Hi, did you resolve this problem? Got the same a few days back. No WIFI, no BT and no vol up.

[Q] Wifi Switches off and doesn't re-enable

Hello,
I'm running the W03 Slim on my Canadian Note II, and almost every time wifi has been disconnected for a bit (i.e. during commutes) the wifi shuts off by itself and refuses to turn back on. Pressing the wifi on-off button shifts the position of the button to "on" but no networks appear. If I leave the wifi settings page and go back, the wifi is back in the "off" position.
This has been happening consistently since I moved to Denmark from Canada about a month ago. Things I've tried, based on search results:
-changing wifi region code to Europe (no option for Denmark or Scandinavia)
-wiping caches
-taking out and putting back in sim card
-taking out battery and letting it sit for a minute before putting the batter back
-re-flashing the rom
Luckily I've found out that the issue can be stopped with a reboot or by switching airport mode on and off, so it's not that bad of a problem. That said, if anybody's got any ideas for fixes, I'd appreciate hearing about them, as I'm worried that I'll forget to check one time while I'm at home and will eat up all of my limited data.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hey have you found a fix for your wifi problem?
I have the same problem.... started like a month ago and sometimes wifi would just work but most of the time its dead....
I have tried reflashing a stock rom ... and all the AOSP, AOKP, CM11 Roms I could find and still no go...
Anyone have this problem too? I need my wifi !!!!
Edit: ok, it looks like my problem was with the replacement housing i bought on ebay. since i first dropped my phone on a street pavement... the chrome edges were all messed up so in order to replace that, i had to replace the whole housing for the phone... everything looked exactly the same as the original but i guess just a couple millimeters off can make a big difference... took a long time to find the problem... snapping the main board back into the housing and taking it out again....not fun. So if anyone needs to do any housing replacement and you get this problem too, just hit me up with a pm and i'll show you what i did!
Cheers!
Simple fix to wifi.. apparently this phone has a faulty antenna.. bad spring or connector. Slap the back of the phone a few times on yur leg or hand. Antenna is located top back right of phone. Its a quick fix. It worked for me. After flashing n restoring everything I could think of this worked!!! Just now. Or u can search fix note 2 antenna and take back off to clean etc.. b just whack it!
I am having a somewhat similar problem. My Wi-Fi sees saved networks, but does not connect automatically or even remember passwords.

Headest constantly on on G4

Dear friends,
I have an issue with the LG G4, recently a sign of headset has appeared in the notification bar, without anything connected to the AUX, as a result i cant make phone calls anymore because the microphone and the earpiece are not working.
I have tried to see if there are anything inside the AUX input, but found none, afterwards i have replaced the Aux to a new AUX piece - didnt solve the problem.
As a result i tried to do a full factory reset of the phone - still same problem headest sign is on.
I dont know what else to do, have you encountered or know how to deal with this situation ? does it mean i have to replace the whole motherboard?
i am running 6.0 stock version of the phone.
With regards.

I had this issue with my lg g3. so... get the battery out , take your hair dryer and do not set on very hot and then dry the jack couple of minutes . after that put the battery back and start the phone. That should do it. I`m pretty sure u got a drop of water in there and thats the cause.
Thank you for the help, but its not the problem, i have switched the jack to a new one, i have tried now to use the hair dryer on all the pieces after disassembling the phone, still same problem.

Cannot Turn on WiFi, Bluetooth, or Tethering

I have an N900T that I use around the house for casting to my Chromecasts. It has been working fine until a few days ago when I couldn't get it to connect to my WiFi. Upon further inspection, I realized that it wasn't even allowing me to turn the WiFi on. I tested bluetooth and tethering, neither of which worked either. I tried a factory reset, reinstalling the factory touchwiz, upgrading to the newest touchwiz, and even installing an aosp rom to try to rule out software problems. I opened the phone and made sure all of the ribbons were still connected. I think the ribbon in the top right corner of the phone, when looking at it from the back, may have been a little loose, but I'm not sure if it had been disconnected. Either way, all of the connections are tight and secure now, but I still cannot get my WiFi to turn on. I'm not sure what else to try.
I'd prefer not to buy another logic board without knowing for sure that's the problem. Is there anything else I could try on the software side? Is that a part that could just stop working like that? The phone doesn't get abused, it just sits on an end table most of the time. Thanks for any help.

Decided!!! OnePlus 3 wifi and bluetooth problems.

Hi. I did not find it by search, but can anyone come across it.
Oneplus 3 - wifi and bluetooth problem. After opening the phone, to replace the power cable, it became bad to catch wifi. Only if near. It is worth moving back 4-5 meters, then the signal disappears and switches to the cellular one. Bluetooth only works very close, 10-15cm. If further, it is immediately interrupted.
On the Internet, I found topics for the same problem. It all started after the autopsy. Who changed the camera, who changed the battery and the result is the same. I still haven't found a solution ... ((((((
I would be very grateful for a hint!
Hi,

Hello. Upon careful examination under a magnifying glass, I found a downed SMD component in the indicated area in the photo. I don't know if it's a resistor or a capacitor. So I just soldered it directly. And everything began to work as before. The signal to the WIFI chip, which is hidden under the cover, should pass along the path indicated in blue. The contacts of the WIFI antenna are marked in green. Next, you also need to check the components.
