Trying to get my referb cricket i747 to take the latest official rom.

I have a sgh-i747 thats a referb from cricket on 4.1.1. How can I force it to take the legit AT&T OTA update? Kies says I'm at the latest version but AT&T shows a newer rom is available. I would like to update without rooting or voiding KNOX.

Back up you data and flash back to stock 4.1.1.
If the phone is not sim unlocked, use the free method to sim unlock the phone after flashing stock 4.1.1.
After unlocking, try checking for OTA updates.

T-Mobile S8+ on Sprint Network, OTA issue

Hi,
I've been using my T-Mobile S8+ on Sprint,
and System updates -> Download updates manually option gives me an error all the time: "Couldn't download update. Unable to update the software. A network or server error occurred. Try again later."
To update to RH1 firmware, I had to insert T-Mobile sim card, restore back to T-Mobile version and update, then come back to Sprint version with Sprint sim card.
But this time, I need RIB firmware since Sprint now supports VoLTE.
Seems like there's no RIB ODIN file yet, and I'm not sure if I can just ODIN it with Sprint firmware, and not sure how to keep my data with ODIN.
Any idea?

Need ATT firmware for S20 Ultra SM-G988U

Can anyone assist in helping me download latest att firmware for S20 ultra? I believe it is G988USQU1ATCT. Back story: I flashed an unlocked Verizon version with the G988USQU1ATAW att firmware and have been unable to get it to update. Currently using the device with First Net. I know att firmware isn't available with frija. Any help would be appreciated.

Update: I was able to enable OTA update by first doing a factory reset but most importantly, inserting my wifes ATT sim card. Once inside, I checked software updates, and got 2 updates back to back.

was going to say all the carrier models use same firmware

So did the att sim work with the unlocked verizon firmware and you have the sm-g988u1 phone, just asking im trying to get Android 11 with one ui 3.0

Flashing a AT&T SM-G988U1 update to SM-G988U USERDATA question

My AT&T S20 Ultra has been stuck on the G988USQU1ATBN firmware update. I haven't received any of the new OTA updates and was looking into manually flashing the latest update via Odin. If I were to flash the latest unlocked SM-G988U1 G988U1UES1ATFB update, that I downloaded from SamFirm, to my current AT&T SM-G988U, I would need to use the G988U's USERDATA in Odin to retain AT&T's carrier features like Wifi Calling and VOLTE or is it not possible to enable these features even with the USERDATA on a SM-G988U1 unlocked firmware update? I haven't had any luck finding the latest AT&T G988U update's USERDATA, only the ones from the "G988U and G988U1 Firmware Links and Flashing Discussion Here" topic's U firmware link.
Is it safe to use the ATT Feb 20, 2020 G988USQU1ATAW USERDATA from the U firmware link while I'm flashing the unlocked G988U1UES1ATFB update to my current SM-G988U in Odin? Its my first time flashing a firmware update to a Galaxy phone in Odin.

i dont think itll boot.. if userdata has verify bit set then flashing data from u firmware to u1 the vbmeta will not match.. u can try it tho.. it might work and just ask u to data wipe

Help updating to latest update
Could you help me please? I'm so lost on how to use this forum. I've got an sm-g986u on at&t, it's not got an update since June. I'm trying to update it via odin. I don't use a sim card in it as it's not my main phone so I can't get ota updates, and smart switch doesn't work either. I would just throw a sim in it but I guess I bought a blacklisted phone :/ anyway, if I use frija it detects a T-Mobile update for it, but it won't download. It goes for a bit and then drops to zero mb/s. I downloaded the update myself and when I enter the files into oidn, it freezes after I select the cp file and says not responding indefinitely. I just want to get this thing to one ui 2.5. I cannot find any guide for how to do this. Thanks for any insight you can provide. I'm going to try to find a way to make this into a post as well.

Question Fold 3 Does not Update... Problem Solved!!!!!!

I bought a refurbed Fold 3 and love it!
However, it is stuck on Android 12 (Last security update is Sept 26, 2022) and will not update.
Here are some details:
It boots up with an ATT logo
I use US Mobile's Verizon plan
Every time I try and update, I get the following message: "Software Update Interrupted."

I was thinking of using Odin to manually update the phone, but I don't know what firmware to use.
So, I was hoping I could get some guidance:
Any ideas on why it won't update?
If I use Odin, what firmware should I install?

Problem solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took out my US Mobile sim card and thew in an old T-Mobile sim card and it updated the phone to the current version.
I then rebooted and inserted my US Mobile card and it works!!!!
Weird... but it worked.
