Stock rom Lg k10 K430TV. - LG K10 Questions & Answers

Hello people!
So I got a Lg K10 and he gave Infinite Loop, alone, out of nowhere, he hung up, and when it came time to call again, he did not come back.
I'm trying to recover the ROM stock, however, I could not see the model in time, and behind the battery, it's not written.
After so many searches, I discovered that it is the K430TV, I went to download, but I came across some variants:
K430TV10r_00_0422.kdz
K430TV10t_00_0628.kdz
K430TV10y_00_0820.kdz
K430TV11g_00_1222.kdz
K430TV11h_00_0316.kdz
K430TV11i_00_0426.kdz
K430TV11j_00_0605.kdz
Can anyone tell me if there is any difference, if any, which ones?
Hugs

To find out the correct version, use LGUP software, and it will show you the correct version.
I have the same problem, but the correct version for my device is K430TV11v and there is nowhere to download. :crying:
Does anyone have?

SOLVED [HELP] LG G4 (H815P) Bricked "Authentication Fail #9"

Hello everyone
So, this is my problem here, I got my G4 last week, rooted it to debloat, followed the instructions I found here on XDA, and it was working as a charm.
The problem came when I wanted to change the (micro) SD card to another phone, I took the back cover off, took out the SD card, and a warning message about the SD card might be damaged came on screen.
So I turned off the G4, after I was ready to put back the SD, tried to power on the phone again and the error message appeared.
"Security Error, Auth Fail #9" and then it just won't boot.
Hope anyone can help me.
I was on stock Telcel Firmware, had rebooted the phone several times before with no issues so far.
Never mind, I just reflashed stock firmware found
here: http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/
then followed this steps
Tutorial: http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/install.php
So, after a clean flash, it booted again, as Iv'e had it for just one week, nothing was lost.
Hope this helps anyone else facing this strange problem.
By the way, if anyone know something about the possible cause for this malfunction, I woud really appreciate you sharing info.
Cheers!
i Have had the same problem i was woundering if you could please walk me through the steps on how you fixed yours.
I recently just bought a new LG G Stylo with MetroPCS. this is my first time being with android so i took it upon my self to root the phone and see what all i could do with it. Everything worked fine for a couple of days then i tried to reset my phone and when it tried to come back on the lg logo cane up and it said Authentication fail #9. I try to factory reset the phone but it goes back to the same screen. I can not put the phone in download mode and my computer does not detect that there is a phone there. If there is anyone who can help me please it will be greatly appreciated.

How can be LG G4 H815P be rooted, have read many tutorials, but no one is for the variant "P" (Telcel).
Thanks!!!
Hello!
Well, I found out the source of the problem on "error 9".
As it happened again a couple days after posting the thread.
In my case, when I uninstalled LG apps, such as music and video apks, "error 9" would come up on next boot.
Follow the tutorials, the most important thing is to have the right version of SW to your phone.
Also, I had to download LG bridge, then a pop-up came telling that drivers for the phone should be updated, I just accepted the update and then my phone was detected on my PC .
If you encounter a problem, please provide me a little more info (with caps if possible).
Hope to help you.

@joyousfrank. I've just been de-bloating my phone and managed to get a Security Error problem and was hoping to use this method to get the thing live again. Trouble is that Google is blocking the LGFlashtool download link. Any chance you have another link or could maybe upload a copy of the tool somewhere? Cheers

I used this thread as a guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/orig-development/root-tmo-vzw-intl-variants-soon-root-lg-t3164765
(Follow the steps for International H815 10c Version)
This is the rooted image I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/...on-root-lg-t3164765/post62251256#post62251256
After you download it just unzip it, and rename the .img file to "system.rooted.H81510c-EU"
The file must be system.rooted.H81510c-EU.img
Hope to help.
Cheers!

Hello!
The first thing to do, is to find the right SW foy your phone model (and carrier) as I read some problems when flashing other different than stock.
Look up here http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/download.php there's where I found the SW for Telcel. Just input your IMEI on that page and it will give you a download link.
Then, follow this steps http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/install.php
It's important to tell you that my phone wasn't detected by my PC until I downloaded LG Bridge as it comes with the latest drivers, so I recommend you to do this if you face the "not-detecting phone PC".
And for last, I suppose that there should be thread with a list of safe to uninstall apps (this is my first LG so not totally sure).
As there's enough room for apps on the phone, I just ended freezing annoying apps with Link2SD to avoid having the "Authentcation Error #9" problem.
Hope to help you, cheers!

T807A Recovery Help

Hi there,
I recently purchased a Tab S 10.5 off of eBay from a seller that said they'd messed up a custom ROM installation and with a cursory amount of research I saw that it was possible to return it to factory and had no issue putting in the leg work to get it done. However, I'm finding that my own knowledge of rooting and custom ROMs isn't sufficient for this situation now that I've gotten stuck into it. The tablet shows the Tab S logo and then immediately displays a message that says the software isn't official ATT and to return to a store for assistance. When I try to boot into the recovery menu I'm met with a screen that has a large android and says, 'Downloading...' and I can't get any further there either.
I've tried flashing recovery files with Odin but they have all failed and have also tried the Turkish image and it just sits at, '<ID:0/004> SetupConnection.." and doesn't initialize.
I've also gotten a, 'NAND StartWrite FAIL!!' notice as well.
I got the thing for a steal and would love it if it were possible to return it to factory and was just curious what kind of options I had at this point. Are there any program alternatives to Odin or different recovery files to use mayhaps?
I'm wondering if buying a new logic board would fix the issue at this point but, wanted to double check that it wouldn't cause any differing problems than the issue I'm experiencing now.
Edit: Odin finally got passed the, 'SetupConnection' line for the Turkish image and displayed this next: '<ID:0/004> Can't open the serial(COM) port.' - This is the first time it's displayed this message and I'm not sure what to do about this either.
T807a firmware isn't available afaik.

Are there any other versions of the firmware that would work instead?
Regarding the rest of my questions, I'm really just interested at this point if replacing the logic board would fix the issue. If anyone has tried that at least.

LG G Pad v495 - Bizzare issue after stock rom install, any assistance apreciated

Okay. I have in my possession an LG-v495 that I received, fully functioning, a few weeks ago. I attempted to, using the information I could find on various similar models, which was not a lot mind, unlock the device (Successfully), and flash stock android 4.4.2 on to the tablet using methods that I found on this form. The only information I could find at the time were for various other models like the v490, v498 or similar. These are functionally identical devices on a hardware level, the only differences being what carrier software was stapled on at the last minute.
After I attempted this Flash, by rooting the phone, then putting it in download mode, then loading the stock rom utilizing LG's developer tools, the devices boots into the LG welcome/setup-device screen, like it would had I turned on a new device, and then forcibly turns the screen off. It is important to note, my computer still recognizes the device as present and on, but at no point during the process can i interact with the screen in any way, or influence the device beyond forcibly resetting it. I can still get into download mode, but, as part of the process involved "factory resetting the device" after flashing the new firmware, the device no longer reads as Rooted.
This device is of vital importance to me, as I have been on the verge of homelessness for a while now, and do not possess a phone. I cannot get the device replaced, as it is 1 month out of warranty, and cannot afford to buy another one. Is there anything at all that I can to get this device working. I am a software engineer, and not above getting my hands dirty with ADB and the like, but there is a lot of conflicting information out there, and I get the impression that it was trusting the wrong information that got me into this mess in the first place. Any assistance that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
I apologize for the wall of text, and appreciate you all taking the time to read this.
Was it by chance a US Cellular Gpad? My pad is listed as a v495 but it takes the firmware for a UK495. They are not the same machine.
Yes. This is the US Model, and I am familiar with the difference in hardware

LG G4 Bricked? Attempt to install alternate Mobile OS

Greetings,
General
I've been all over the Internet trying to gain access to more information about how to repair my LG G4. Well... Let's start from the beginning.
Story
I have an LG G4, it's old and I've had it for over 4-5 years now... I can't exactly remember how long I had it for. It still works, just needs a new battery and cable (cats chewed the cable and batteries don't last when you forget to disconnect them from the device, leave it plugged in for weeks and let it completely die for longer then a week).
I recently saw a video about the Pine phone and the fact that it was able to run a linux mobile distribution and when I looked into installing a custom OS into LG G4, it was possible... If I manually ported it myself.
I actually got fairly far using my Xubuntu system with configuring and compiling, the trouble I ran into was that I couldn't root or fastboot my device.
So, now here's where the problem began, I have a LG G4 factory reset and when I load up the Recovery mode, it brings up the android guy with their chest open and an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle, no message. After attempting to boot into recovery mode, I wait a little while and the phone automatically resets back to normal. When I use ADB to force the phone into fast boot, it skips it and starts the phone normally.
Now I'm on a mission to find a way to either fix the boot or flash the firmware (in hopes that it fixes the boot/recovery).
I have already tried:
Installing LGFlashTool
Versions, 2.0.1.6, 2.0.1.9, Year: 2014 and 2.0.2.5. Other than year 2014, the other ones were installed from LGFlashTool.com
Since Xubuntu can't run these files properly, I just ran them on my wife's Windows computer
I installed the LG Mobile Drivers and LGFlashTool had registered that it was the correct DLL but, it didn't seem to find the phone
Year 2014 LGFlashTool had found the phone but, I may have had the incorrect kdz file.
The Flash starts and the phone goes to firmware update, but the phone stops at zero and sits there while the program crashes saying that there was an error (in which no means to read, understand or locate the description of this error) and to try again by unplugging and removing the battery.
This version was downloaded from xda-developers.com
Conclusion
Once I can get into fastboot, I'll be able to root my phone and attempt to install the mobile OS I have ready.
Otherwise, I think I might be able to install a microSD card with the OS but, I don't think that will work if I can't get into the option to boot from a separate location (I believe that's called fastboot). But, then again... I think the phone needs to be rooted first... Then that brings me to the previous issue.
Details and Information
The phone details (as far as I see) are:
When I remove the battery I can see:
FCC ID: ZMFH810
IC ID: 2703C-H812
Model Number: LG-H812
I'm not exactly sure what KDZ file I got but the name is: PR H810PR10a_02.kdz, I also have the _04.kdz
I'm using H815 as my compile for the mobile OS, I may switch to H810 when I get back to that point.
Useless information: I still have the original leather backing... Removed from the phone because I didn't like it. If I find it, I can ship it to someone.
That's about it... I am very terrible about research and using Google properly (I have no idea why, I think it's a terrible flaw to have but, I have it). So, if you find the solution by typing words I didn't use or finding a similar post, I am very sorry. Hope I have everything posted here to help solve the issue, linking to posts that can resolve the issue or posting questions on what I might be missing will help.
Thanks in advance for the support of this community,

Well first of all you need to unlock your phone. H812 can't be unlocked officially though. Check my sig for the only unofficial one. Once unlocked you can flash custom ROMs but first of all you should read about ARB (antirollback) also in my sig and ensure you understand the risks all this brings. Gl.

Thanks for the positive feedback, I will attempt to fix my phone with your solution. This phone is technically almost garbage and when I fully update the phone, it runs like trash. So, if I can install a custom ROM, it may run a little better or have the tools I would personally like in a phone.
I'll let you know the details of my attempt,
Lilrock

Hope you guys proceed with everything you're doing right!
