For some reason, my battery charges really slow.

working smooth till now (flashed it yesterday).. battery charges abit slow.. will test for few more days (t999v)

@Carlos Arriaga Can you please upload only the kernel ? I just switched from RR to AICP as there were no new updates .. Tried Skatter Kernel but my phone lags alot .. Thank you

dude it's been ages i am still waiting :silly::

In the latest version of the firmware fixed a bug with a long charge. The version of android is now 7.1.2. Works stably.

Frontal camera don't work, google camera work good, only with flash focused very slow.

Booted. But there is still so many bugs.
What's Working:
- Mobile Data
- SIM Card
- Vibration
- Touch Screen
Except these, almost nothing working. Plz don't ask ETA. I will work on it in my free times. I gave download link for who interesting in testing and want to taking a look to MIUI in our device.

Read the op. Most everything isn't working.
The only things that work are
- Mobile Data
- SIM Card
- Vibration
- Touch Screen

Not for "all"

[UPDATE] Camera blobs flasheable zip / with proper kernel

I will start saying that this was only possible, because an awesome teamwork of davidevinavil, CallmeSuper and SY (Dazzworld/Chen) .
All started with SY extracting the proprietary files needed for the camera, on the z2 pro.
As he made it, open the path to davidevinavil extract the files from z2 plus, and, CallMESuper making changes on the kernels to support the new blobs.
So, all the credits for this work, is to them.
If i said something wrong, please correct me.

Just a simple zip flasheable on TWRP to update roms with the new blobs.
Must use a compatible kernel or will get FC's on camera app.
Compatible DarkMoon 004.1 LT added to the thread. Is just the regular DarkMoon, with new blobs support.
If you have some error on flashing or Fc´s on system, make sure you're using a TWRP v3+ and a compatible kernel too.
Made based on davidevinavil vendor repo, so you can thank him for the work

i have a doubt on your credibility as a source. You can't even spell davidevinavil correctly. Definitely not flashing this zip on my phone.

such lack of details makes one suspicious. it was an instinct. how can i be sure that this won't mess up my device. Setting up device from scratch is quite an hassle. i appreciate your efforts.

You're right, i've made the thread as everyone will know what is about.
Will update it.
These blobs, in short, is stock camera on custom roms

Anyone tried this on latest AEX 11Aug build ?
Or....are we even required to flash this zip on it as the ROM/kernel already have the latest camera blobs(I think ?)..?

Installed it on latest jaguar rom, in combination with F1xy kernel perfecto.

Some roms are not update with the new Camera blobs which improve the overall quality of the pictures and video captured it. For this you need the updated vendor blobs which are included in the zip. But to run the new camera blobs kernel support is required thats why a kernel is also included in the zip otherwise there will be camera error. If your rom is not updated recently or the OP hasn'rt mentioned about the new blobs in the thread than you can flash it. . If any thing goes wrong dirty flash the rom or its always better to have backup.

So far I've tried nearly all roms and it works only on ColtOS and XenonHD rom.
If I've missed any, someone please add.

- HDR does not work (no error, it just does not process)
- FC when changing "Quick snap mode" under settings
P.S. I am using latest RR 5.8.5 Unofficial build by Woivod.

Actually the Quick Snap is a MIUI exclusive feature... It requires MIUI framework hence FC while changing it in Custom ROMs:silly:
HDR Auto and pro are finniky though... You are correct... But we can use GCam for HDR+ with Camera2api:fingers-crossed:
It gives far more great results and upto 10MB image size and ZSL minimizes the image blurr in HDR:cyclops:

Does it have Save to SD card option? I can't find it. It is working well in NitrogenOS 8.1 but the pictures are saving in internal memory.

I haven't try other rom, but in AOKP can't install Instagram, said it's not compatible, chrome and other google apps also

As per my opinion lineage os is the best...it give huge battery....most stable rom

First take backup of all current used application using Titanium Backup with data.
Backup your existing ROM using TWRP.
Wipe Dalvik/Cache/System/Data(excluding internal)
Install any nougat rom.
First boot will take some time.
Restore all/selective application from Titanium backup.
