Mi Max(hydrogen) bootloop after TWRP flashing

Hi there.
I'm using Global Developer ROM(MIUI9, 8.4.19).
And I'm trying to flash TWRP and install Custom ROM.
I asked Xiaomi for unlock my bootloader, and after 72 hours I could unlock my phone.
After that, I flashed TWRP 3.2.1-4.
Method to flash :
1. Boot into fastboot mode(vol down + power)
2. On windows command prompt, type "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img", "fastboot reboot"
but I can't boot normally, only can boot fastboot & TWRP recovery.
I tried several methods.
1. Try LazyFlasher - bootloop, nothing was changed.
2. Try to flash another ROM(8.1 OmniROM) and gapps(OpenGapps, ARM64 pico) - same bootloop, with Omni bootlogo.
3. Try to flash OmniROM and LazyFlasher - same bootloop.
I can revoke my phone by Fastboot ROM and have no problem without trivial permission reset, but I can't use TWRP still.
Any methods to flash TWRP without bootloop?
flashing twrp doesnt cause bootloop. you went wrong somewhere. did you format system partition before flashing new rom?

Click to collapse
Of course.
On the other hand, definitely, just flashing TWRP causes bootloop. I assume that stock beta rom might cause bootloop by incompatibility of TWRP, but I can't return to stock stable rom because I can't use TWRP recovery so I would lose all of my data.
try using stable rom. when i bought this phone2 years ago, i could flash twrp and root miui just fine

Flashing MIUI without losing TWRP

As you can tell from the title, I'm looking for a way to flash MIUI ROM without loosing TWRP.
Is it okay to flash TWRP right after flashing MIUI .zip file? Would this work or is it just a nonsense?
When finished flashing,do not reboot.Return to re boot on the twrp page.Hope to help But installing magisk is not a problem
Sorry I don't quite get what you mean
Here's what I do every week (Miui 10 Global Developer ROM):
Boot into recovery
Flash ROM
Flash recovery IMG
Flash Magisk
Flash Greenify
Flash Viper4Android
Flash Youtube Vanced
Wipe cache
Reboot
(Of course) I do a backup with Titanium in advance.
just flash magisk after flashing rom

Format the recovery partition

Hello,
I am under xiaomi.eu ROM (latest one) and I have TWRP recovery (3.4.0 unofficial) installed as recovery. But I want to completely remove this recovery/format the recovery partition. is it possible without flashing stock ROM again?
I just want to keep my recovery empty/stock with no TWRP or PBRP. Any suggestion?
Go to fastboot and
Code:
fastboot erase recovery
Though I don't know the use of erasing the recovery partition, as it can be useful if you ever face any bootloop issue or receive any xiaomi.eu update (you need a recovery to flash OTA updates).

Do i need to turn on OEM bootunlock to flash the boot.img?

I used the twrp to install the magisk before
I wonder if using the boot.img to install do I still need to wipe out all my data?

Question Laptop turned off while flashing using Mi Flash at the Super partition

Hey,
I was flashing MIUI 12.5.2 for my phone from mi flash and then windows update restarted my laptop in between.
It was flashing super.img
It is still in fastboot but none of the commands work.
What do I do?
If fastbooot still works then try to flash stock rom using miflash
If flashing with miflash doesn't work, try to flash the xiaomi.eu 12.5.2.0 fastboot rom (that is if you have an unlocked boot loader)
