how much sot u guys get playing pubg 100 to 0
in nogat miui 9 i was getting around 6:00-6:00-30
and after oreo it was 4:00-4:30
and now in 10.2.1 its like 3:30-4:00 only
*(graphics smooth with extreme fps)
Sent from my Redmi Note 5 Pro using Tapatalk
8-15% per erangel round, sometimes lesser. But this is on either 40-60fps so I guess on 30fps one should get slightly higher sot.
Average 4-4.hours from 95-10%( I don't charge or discharge fully)

Hey,
I am owning an Honor 8 Pro C675 with current version DUK-L09 8.0.0.322 (C675 - India) which is the latest available version. The device is new and less than a month old.
But my battery backup is absolutely wrecked.
With full charge I am getting a maximum 5 hours of SoT with medium to low brightness and just regular chatting and web surfing. There's no anomaly in terms of apps or anything, everything looks fine but battery drains fast.
My battery usage chart looks like a very steep slope. :crying:
Anyone else facing this issue or is it just me?
If yes, any solution or tweaks that did it for you? Like resetting or something.
Well 5 hr sot for normal browsing and chatting is abysmally low!! I get around 7 hr sot with ease...and around 5 hr sot if i game... I guess you should reset once and see... although i know resetting can be irritating!!

Thanks for your answer.
Is your unit C675 (India)? The Indian EMUI 8 rom is poorly optimised in terms of battery management, as I am hearing from multiple users.
Wellp, I just bought an HTC 10 a few weeks ago, it works fairly good, but I noticed that battery performance is so poor, in regular use it gives me around 3hrs of SOT, playing PUBG it gives something like 1.5hrs SOT, and that makes me to the following point, is it normal that the phone can reach somewhere like 47°c? When playing PUBG or Asphalt 9 it gets sooo hot, any suggestions for how to deal with these problems? My phone is running LOS14.1 with Cleanslate kernel.
Do you recommend replace the battery?
It's the metal frame that makes the phone "feel" hot. It is normal to that degree. I think 3 Hour SOT is normal. I had an Iphone 5s before 10 that i had to charge it 6 times a day, so 3 Hour is ok i guess.

Whats your experience while playing PUBG on HTC 10
I'm currently on Leedroid r149 and I can't play PUBG on this rom. It's too laggy even in graphics setting i set everything to low.
It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Only get 4-7 hours on my tab s7+ (60 hz / low brightness)

I get between 1 nanosecond and 136 years depending on the wind
On a more serious note, if brightness is set all the way up I can see the 7+ lasting 4 hours or even less. Not only it can get very bright, but the battery life is average, especially on 120Hz, where I'm permanently at because it looks a lot better. It's a waste of a device if you go down to 60Hz.
I actually get around 11 hours screen on time on the S7. Wifi and Location constantly turned on, 50% brightness, 60hz. Do a little gaming, constantly watching videos and doing light programming (still learning Python via Pydroid3).
Around 10 hrs on tab s7 with 75_80% brightness
Mostly Netflix and Amazon prime
Going to return my S7 Canadian version, 256 memory
Got it as an open box from Bestbuy.ca, 750 CAD, right away charged to 100, set 60 Hz and power saving, disabled few apps...
Aaaand i cannot kill this battery, look at the screen time.
Usage pattern - few hrs after work, YT and browsing. Those few days when I only used Xodo to read a book, 2-3% per hour... couldn't believe.
Now, considering that I kept my Note 9 on Oreo and still getting 8-9h SOT, people over at N9 forums regretting updating as it killed the SOT - with all that I will hold off on updating S7 to Android 11, relying on those brave (or desperate) here to update yours and report back how is battery life with UI 3.1
Anyway, the screen shots attached
I hate how Samsung has implemented battery stats. Tracking usage over an extended period is a chore compared to older versions of OneUI.
Anyway, at 96/48hz my S7 on A10 is getting about 12-13hrs when I draw. Also own an S7+ that just arrived. Paid 285 for the S7 and 361 for +.
About 9hours on really dim screen most of the time. But 120hz.
I'm Getting Pretty decent SOT on my S7+.
7hours + SOT while 10-12 Hours Screen off time with 2 hours mostly pubg.
Hello,
I am about to purchase the Mi 10T, have a final question. The only reason I am going for a 865 phone is that I am hoping it heats up WAY less than cheaper cpu phones. I want to be able to play a heavy game for, say, 2 hours straight and not have the phone overheating. Will the 10T be able to handle that?
Thanks
Well, playing genshin impact for over 4 hours continuously with my redmi k30 4g doesn't heat over 40 degree Celsius.
I'll tell you after a week of usage, mine will arrive on oct 23 if you can wait until tho

Literally bought it 5 minutes ago. I figured I would just return if it's not doing great temp and battery wise.
Had the OP8 which was 865. So far not that warm to touch. and before that I had the F2 Pro which was the same. so all good. the only device I had which was kinda warm was the MI 10 5G

I'm getting 60 celsius on cpu, 40 degrees on battery, after about 1 hour of gaming using 80%gpu 40%cpu, 18 celsius local temp.
I have no idea if the temps are good or not tho. What do you think?
Based on my experience i have stressed test the device using Antutu when the unit reached batt temp of 47 and up and goes back to homescreen when you're navigating fps will only be 60 or less automatic even though the screen refresh rate is set to 144hz in settings i dont know if this is a way to dissipate the heat or issue. It will go back to normal after 2-3 mins or when the batt temp goes down to 44 below based on my observation.
Been through the OnePlus device but did not encounter this kind of issue after playing a game
Just got a F3 yesterday and I'm trying to evaluate this unite bc I turned it on was at %65 and reached %20 with only 1:15hrs of screen time and about 12hrs idle. Recharging now and I need a baseline. How much screen on time should I expect if there are no better issues?
Thanks in advance
In my case, while keeping the location services turned on 24/7 (since google decided for god knows what reason in android 10 to tie to it the function of BT LE) as well as bluetooth with notifications synced to a mi band on the latest stock rooted EEA ROM I get about 6 hours-ish of screen time browsing, messaging, a little video calling and some phone games, using 80% of the battery between 100/99% to ~20%.
I can usually squeeze in 45-60 more minutes of use down to 10% if I ever needed more, but it's not recommended due to it affecting the lifespan of the battery.
Note: if you play a lot of games then it won't last all that much. At best I got around 3 hours of blue archive and genshin.
I get 10 hours of SOT. Browsing social media with Bluetooth, Location, Adaptive brightness, and 120hz is always turned on. I'm using the latest hentaiOS build based on Android 12.
4-8 depending on usage and idle time (8h while watching movies) on stock rom

Yeah, I used to get 11+ hours of SOT on ArrowOS (Android 11). 10 or 11 hours of SOT is enough for me, I really don't want more than that.
I'm getting 8-9 SOT with normal usage(Youtube,FB,browse) and 4hrs when straight gaming. 120hz rr.
well, it depends: how much brightness, the refresh rate you're using, how many "app cache'd" and so on.
for me, using 60Hz, brightness always around 40%, no much apps, just IG, YT, Mario Kart, Spotify and Chrome using, always on Wifi and Location i can go from 100% to 25% battery with 9 to 11 hours SoT. (if i play much Mario Kart i get 9, if doenst easy 11).
i never let the phone die everyday, just once a week or a month, charging the phone when you have 20%+ battery is better for the calibration/battery health so, is just a tip.
Also, i am not rooted, just disable a lot of apps using Xiaomi ADB Tool.
