I literally have no idea about how to get rid of this error. I'm pretty sure everyone knows about this error already so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the bypassing thread made here on XDA or tell me an alternative for unlocking this damned phone.

As the title suggest, I'm trying to unlock my bootloader but every time it fails because I have too many links. No idea what that means, but the more severe problem is that with other users the phone will be unlocked, but mine is still locked.. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

I tried to unlock my HTC One M8's bootloader 5-6 times yesterday, and 2 times again today via HTCdev but couldn't (already did it successfully with an other M8 so I know how to do that).
Here's the message I receive everytime :
Unlocking Bootloader Failed!

This could be caused by several factors including simple errors in the entry of the unlock token, problems with your device, or a lack of manufacturer support for the unlocking process. Error Reason: Extract Token Information Fail.
What's the reason ? Can someone help me ?

Searching around the net, it seems that not cutting & pasting the bin code exactly right is one cause for Error 150. Double and triple check you are doing it right. Although if you've already tried 7 times, I imagine that you've already checked this, or would have gotten it right at least once by now.
Is it possible the phone is a refurb, or otherwise used? One link (another device) stated you might get this error if the phone had its mainboard replaced at some point. In that case, it won't be possible to unlock the bootloader.
One other thought I had, the bin code is generated from the phone's IMEI. So if the IMEI was changed by a previous owner (such as a stolen phone), I would think it would result in an invalid bin code.

Hello. Im trying to root that sh*t but i dont know how to properly do it. I have the H815 model with 6.0 running. Can someone link me all the necessary stuff for that proccess? When i tried to unlock its bootloader, it asked me to type my "device id" along with the IMEI of my phone. what the heck is the device id and how i can find it? And after i unlock the bootleader, whats next??? Help me please because it starts to getting on my nerves.
I'm not having any luck unlocking the boatloader. I've read the instructions, apparently I need a code from Huawei to do it, but they stopped giving out codes... am I completely screwed? is there some other process?
