How can I turn it to global version ?

Where did you buy it from? I didn't think the China version was widely available yet.

You can flash Redmi Note 5 Global/Redmi Note 5 Pro ROM available on en.miui.com
But keep in mind that there's is no 8.1 ROM for Global only 7.1. Brw Indian and Global share the same ROM.

are you sure about that ?
because i read in miui official forum that if you have Chinese ROM you need to do fastboot flash first, before flashing Global or India ROM
you can down gmail.app from MIUI APPSTORE, it will notify you install gapps... kind of global version..
or you can unlock your device and flash the rom from xiaomi.eu

Yes unlocked boot-loader is required for that. You can't directly make the switch from China to Global stable/dev roms. Since you've a china stable rom, start the unlocking process immediately, wait for 15 days and then unlock. If not test-point which is cumbersome but no need of waiting time. You have to use China Stable atleast for 15 days before you can fastboot flash global rom.

Some people in MIUI Device Team said that going from China ROM to Global ROM ( or India ROM ) for the Redmi Note 5 Pro is not a good idea due to different camera setups, so you might experience issues with them.
I don't know if that's for sure or not !

In the end of this April several country will sold this version according to spec that xiaomi officially state. So I believe and at the same time hope this is the global variant. Btw that country is South East Asian.
why not just switch sys language to English?
First u need unlock bootloader. After 15 days bootloader will unlock then u will install global rom.
I'm using the China version, too. You can install Play Store, Gmall and other Gapps right away, since the Chinese rom includes Google framework.
Unfortunately the Global version of Redmi Note 8 Pro is only 6 GB RAM which is big disappointment for me and seems Xiaomi will never release the 8 GB Global version. Since 8 GB only coming in the Chinese version so Is there an easy way to install Google service on the Chinese version? Also I'm using the Arabic language in the Keyboard beside the English language but the interface wil remain in English, so will that easy to have this on the Chinese version? Can I simply install the global version ROM on the Chinese version?

But why? 6GB is more than enough for most app and games.. also the Google says that 6GB of ram memorije is more than enough , everything more is just bad for battery ..
There's no Global rom until now, so you need to wait to do these, but it should be possible to do it when it is released.

if you want the international rom.
Just flash the 3rd party rom.

Hello, all. My device is Poco F3 Indonesia and have reflash to mi11x version because I prefer MI version over Poco However, there is a problem with the absence of NFC even though my device already supports.
Is there a way to re-enable NFC?

Stock ROM for Mi 11X (Indian version) hasn't software support for NFC because Mi 11X phone hasn't hardware for NFC. If u want Mi launcher u can use china stock ROM or xiaomi.eu ROM (stable or weekly).

i like xiaomi.eu rom but it doesn't support indonesian language, because poco stock rom can't install mi launcher. The Chinese stock rom, the name is redmi k40, also is the miui redmi version, there is indeed a mi launcher, but it doesn't support the Indonesian language

You can still put your phone in english and set region to indonesia

You can ask Xiaomi.eu to include it. Their decision to include or not though.
You can even contribute to translate and port it.
They need people understand at least English and the target language to port it in their Rom. If you find no Indonesian, be the first one.
Also heard some myth: some device can get Mi-launcher after factory reset. Not sure if it's true or not.

You register a new account there, it is not official MIUI website, so Mi-account won't work.

On global rom there is also no support for NFC..
If u mean EU=xiaomi.eu, then NO...u have to Format data after u flashed the ROM.

My phone is global. Hw info shows that I have nfc (picture attached).
But there is no option anywhere in settings.
