Hi
Can anyone suggest me a battery saving kernel for MiUi pro rom? There is no need for over clocking etc features in the kernel.
Thanks

Using masik 2.2 and InsigniuX kernel x10
I too have this query! There are limited no. of kernels for MIUI. Few which I hear/read about are:
1) Agni
2) Ancient
3) InsigniuX
4) Stormguard
But don't see much feedback / comments on same for MIUI

Hi,
I have been out of touch from the forum from quite a long time, and i don't have a good internet.I would like to know which is the best and the most stable Rom? with good battery life. Im on miui, but when i went through the MIUI rom discussion, there are alot of problems everyone is facing. Can i get a stable miui rom? and how do i update to the latest CMW recovery. Thanks!
Do you want a Sense-less ROM or with Sense? Regarding CWM, get ROM Manager from Google apps. Open it, and on top, you have the option "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery".
If you could tell me both? with and without sense, is there any stable version of miui available? and thanks for the info about recovery.
Among Sense ROMs, I like ARHD 6.3.3 the most. Among MIUI ROMs, RD-MIUI 2.4.13 is the best. I've personally used it.
Hope it helps.

There's a list of roms here if you need it.
I like MIUI, so if I need the video camera, I use the last official MIUI Android GB rom which was MIUIAndroid DHD 2.4.20.
If the video camera is not so important and I want to try ICS apps, then I really appreciate Bliind's ICS MIUI version here at XDA [ROM] MIUI.us 2.6.22 v4 4.0.4 (ICS).
(As per his thread, you can use Videocam Illusion for the video camera to work, but the cam doesn't seem to film for so long, although I didn't buy the pro version or play around with the app settings.)
In July or August we will see the official DHD Android 4.0 (Sense 3.6) rom from HTC, so we can enjoy ICS (if you like it) and the video cam should be good too.
:good:
Hey guys,Just wanted to ask something real quick.I am currently running on the revolution hd rom and its pretty good, but i would like to try a more pure android experience and by that i mean a rom which has ics or jb but nothing else(e.g CM9 or CM10).Can you guys suggest a rom/kernel combo that gives battery life equal to that of sense while not compromising on the performance? Thankyou very much
Try AOSP ROM Jellybean pure stock:

Stock kernel is good but you can also use faux or franco kernel for this ROM:

is it possible to use ElementalX with Dirty Unicorns? Do I have to flash the version for LOS?
Thanks and best regards
