Yes, I go to that settings section...
It shows Service Provider - "My Network Provider" with no options to change
Voicemail number, It's preset to a number and I can change this... but I don't know what to do here? It's already setup with a password apparently.

I'm in the same boat as you resOnOxg. Anyone have a guide how to setup voicemail on an AL00 in the states using AT&T ?

On my L29 I have to disable visual voicemail in the stock Dialer's settings before I can activate visual voicemail. I'm on Metro.

My best answer to this is to put your sim back in the previous phone you were using and press and hold #1 it should then show you in the call log the voicemail number, you can then use that. But your sim card should be providing your voicemail number. Mine is the AL00 version and I had to do nothing to have the number associated with the correct voicemail#.

[Q] Is there anyway to get rid of the persistant Tmo VM Notification?

See Title
I know I can simply just check the vm, but I would like to only use gvoice for voicemails... is it possible to hide/prevent the voicemail notification from tmobile from showing?
? If your vm it's going to Google voice, how is anything ending up in your T-Mobile vm box?
Make sure you have all the settings going to Google voice.
Settings
Device tab

Also under call settings is the voice mail service settings..
I never see the voicemail icon because vm never gets to T-Mobile.

T-Mobile Pre-order. Lost order # in text messages.

Last night I installed the latest CM11 M8 on my Nexus 5. However, I failed to realize that this would obviously erase my text messages from T-Mobile which provided me with my order number for the pre-order of the G3 I placed with them. I've tried digging around in my online T-Mobile account and can't find anything with my order number or confirmation of purchase.
Is there another way to obtain this order number?
1st EDIT: I found it. If you also misplaced your order number from the text messages, login to your account and navigate to "View Account Activity" and you should see a line that says "Order Placed". Click on the plus sign next tot hat and your order number is listed. However, it keeps disappearing every time you try to copy it. The workaround I found is to click the plus sign so the pop up opens then take a screenshot of the order number.
2nd EDIT: Of course I'm still getting the below error message even though I've ensured the order number and zip code are accurate 3 times...

Between this and the completely useless CSR's T-Mobile sure is making getting an update on our pre-order status quite annoying.

[Q] New Voicemail Notification (annoying!)

Hi Guys, does anyone know how to get rid of this annoying notification that always pops up, even if there is no voicemail?? it's driving me nuts. I know that in the G3Toolbox there was a solution... but there must be a way! Right?
It always appears when i :
- reboot the phone,
- put airplane mode on or off
. when i change carrier (roaming)
really annoying stuff...
the only way i found to make it disappear when it appears is by going to :
settings > apps > all > scroll down to Phone and clear data.
On that subject, do all of you have two - three "phone" apps like the screenshot below?

A little late but a reply nonetheless.
I had the same issue till today. I had told telus to disable my voicemail completely a week ago when I got the phone.
Heres what me and the customer support person did.
He reactivated voice mail.
I called myself left a message using another phone.
I then used my phone to delete said voicemail.
I had him on chat and he disabled v.m one more time.
I have restarted my phone several times since then and no issue. The old voicemail was just "stuck" in the system.
P.s i have 3 phones listed just like you in apps.

New issue - No MMS when on wifi

Nexus 5X, Android 7.0, Rooted, Verizon
This seems a very new issue for me. When I am home within range of WiFi I am not able to send or receive MMS message (using stock messenger app). I do receive the text portion of the message, just not the MMS "attachment".
If I turn off WiFi, or drive away out of range, the messages will send/arrive.
I dinked with APN settings, but get a message to the effect, "These settings not available to this user."
Any suggestions to correct this issues?
its not an issue, normally for MMS your have to use a cellular to send it.

Wat? Did you even test your silly theory before stating it? Because you are so wrong.
This function depends on your mobile carrier. There is nothing wrong with your phone about this problem. Anyway mms is dinosaur who must die.
Probally you can try to activate the "Cellular Data always active" within the developer options -> Networking..looks like this....can you give feedback if this works?

Thor, no luck using the dev settings. Thanks for the suggestion.

Question No notification sound/music after changing the default phone/call app

Hi,
I am used to use the Orange phone application for calls because of interesting feature such local call identifier, spam or sale center identification ....
Fact is that as soon as you change the default application for calls on Nubia Red Magic 6 (ROM is last 3.27), when a call arrive, you get the pop up but no music.
Whatever you try to use an integrated music, any else added to the phone, there is no sound. As soon as Nubia phone app is back default, it works.
HAve you experience such issue and know how a workaround ?
Thanks for your answer.
I am currently use Announce caller as my ringtone in settings. That’s the only way I can hear when my phone rings using Google phone at.
@slimdaddycmf, thanks for your feedback but what do you mean by "Announce caller" ? is that an app (if so can you link ?) or a setting.
@fredlamour , launch Google phone app, go to settings in the app and at the bottom you will see caller ID announcement.

Sorry for not being a help, but does it still vibrate? Or there is absolutely nothing except the call pop-up?
For me there is nothing (no sound/vibration). Only that popup and screen that wake up.
I have tested the option with announce call id but it is as short as the name of the caller is. So for me it is limited.
