1) Where can I see for more info?
For any questions please refer to this Thread: Gingerbread XWJVB info and news.
2) Why do you advise me the bootloader version? is safe?
For those who pass for the first time from Frøya to Ginger is a must with the bootloader version. In fact if you flash a version without the bootloader, you will have the graphical glitch (colored striped screen) during boot and beyond.
This bug/problem is due to the fact that you are using a bootloader old and need updating.
This does not prelude the possibility of returning to Froyo and / or ginger. only updates the bootloader.
In addition, the version I posted is absolutely secure.
3) Hi, there is a video on YouTube that explains how to instll the rom?
Sure here it is: Installing Stock JVK
4) The control-power does not work
Just put the widget on the home is gray, but if you try to activate the Wifi for example, the widget works then. Or just do a reboot with the power control in the home and after a reboot it works[/B][/FONT]

Optional: Disguise your Kindle Fire as a Galaxy Nexus to see more apps on the Play Store:
This flashable zip (Alternate download) will modify and set the following build properties as follows:
ro.product.model=Galaxy Nexus
ro.product.brand=google
ro.build.description=takju-user 4.1 JRN84D 392829 release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint=google/takju/maguro:4.1/JRN84D/392829:user/release-keys
You might need to clear the Play Store data to see an effect: Settings -> Apps -> Click on Google Play Store -> Click on Clear Data.
I tested it and XDA Premium HD now shows up in the store, starts and seems to work. Haven't tested any other apps because I don't know which ones people have issues with.
If you want to revert to the KF build props you need to flash the ROM again (no wipe required).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation:
Make sure you have the latest FFF and TWRP 2.1.x or 2.2.x installed. [Note: Don't use TWRP 2.3.1.1 until all issues are sorted out]

It didn't force close on me but it did take away the buttons and it took some effort and lots of toggling to get them back. Typing with the buttons right under the space bar is an adventure...
All in all this is sweet and seems to be working fine. WiFi is no issue fwiw.

Benchmarks are the best I have seen so far out of jelly bean 5175
WiFi is good thx
Google Now is working (only tested text searches, guessing mic support is still lacking)
Just tested -- nice!!! :good:
only that I'd rather go for the Tablet UI, a lot more pleasant
and there's still no toggle Status bar, which "eats" 8% of the screen surface, I mean A LOT!
wifi is working fine...
forgot to see how is the USB acting, is it OK?
(in the mean time waiting on a stable ICS ROM....)
Good job!
Sweet. May try this today.
Is there ever any reason to wipe the SD card - assuming you've backed up personal files and such?
Awesome !! Thanks for this ROM Twa_Priv. Your CM9 was my favorite ROM & now on to your CM10 ROM !!
Can someone post a mirror? The download is not working for me.

if you have your backups there, why would you wipe SD card?
anyway it has nothing to do with the ROM, as it only works on Data, System, Cache and Dalvik

Just seems like it could clean up some garbage leftover from apps and such to free up space and make it read a bit faster.

I do that on occasion, but I always grab all my backups and move them to my PC. That includes apps like Beautiful Widgets, Apex launcher etc.

Optional: Disguise your Kindle Fire as a Nexus 7 to (possibly) see more apps on the Play Store (Updated for 4.2.2):
This flashable zip will modify and set the following build properties as follows:
ro.product.model=Nexus 7
ro.product.brand=google
ro.product.manufacturer=Asus
ro.build.description=nakasi-user 4.2.2 JDQ39 573038 release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint=google/nakasi/grouper:4.2.2/JDQ39/573038:user/release-keys
You might need to clear the Play Store data to see an effect: Settings -> Apps -> Click on Google Play Store -> Click on Clear Data.
If you want to revert to the KF build props you need to flash the ROM again (no wipe required).
Sweet! Does this include the sleep fix?

Ha I saw your post on the other thread. Anyway, this rom has the Cyanogenmod settings and good stuff, and the CM9/SGT7 ROM also had tablet UI. I would have your hopes up
EDIT: Also, looking at other forums, SGT7 advertises "turning your *insert tablet name here* into a real tablet, with Tablet UI advertised as the big feature. Have your hopes really really high

There is no tablet UI (at least for now). I even don't know if sbrady/sgt7 will port their tabletUI related changes to cm10.1 at all since I believe I read somewhere that google ditched the tablet UI even for 10'' tablets.
Besides that a few other sgt7 changes are not ported yet (e.g. edge swipe navigation, volume control in status bar).
Deep sleep works btw.

Question:
Does the flash to nexus zip work with this rom as well?
If so, you might want to include a dl link in this thread as well, just for convenience.
Thanks for all your amazing work!

No, don't flash it as it changes the fingerprint to 4.1. When I have time I maybe put together a flash to nexus 7 zip or similar.

Thanks for the heads up, glad I asked.
Yeah, if you had time for it that would be very handy, although obviously I'm sure it's a rather low priority with all that has to be done what with a brand new rom and all.
I know you said there is a chance that we will not see tablet UI on this rom, but does this include the combined status bar?
Thanks

Superuser FCs at each prompt for me as well.
A workaround is to set superuser to "always allow" within its settings, so that you can replace it with SuperSU from the Store.
Once you install the binaries from SuperSU, you can revert the changes you made earlier with superuser if you like.
Anyone else having issues getting their KF to connect via USB. I have been using SGT7 linaro for about 5 months, and somewhere around 3 months ago USB stopped working. I now have to transfer files via wifi to the sdcard to update. I have USB Debugging enabled, I have tried disabling, and rebooting, then enabling and rebooting. I have factory reset/wipe system/cache/davlik, then installed and setup and still nothing. It doesn't seem to bring up USB device or show anything on several different computers I have connected to.
Was hoping it was something easy and possibly related to the SGT7 builds... Any help is greatly appreciated.
I flashed the 20121217-1321 build last night; took the KF to the office today; and when I pulled it out of my bag for the first time it was SOD!
I have just installed CatLog-LogCat Reader to see if I can catch a log of the problem -- never tried to use a logcat before, so any advice will be welcome.
On the latest rom. I use my tablet for remote login when I do not want to get the laptop out. This rom works just as fast and just as well as my laptop. Before, it worked well, with just a little lag. All lag is gone. My little tablet performs as well as others double the price. I use Pocket Cloud Pro. Thanks for great work, twa_priv and hashcode.
